Two worlds in crisis. Two missions that must be fulfilled by any means. But at what price? In a distant galaxy, under twin suns and a purple sky, a team of Earth scientists explores a jungle planet hopeful they have at last found a suitable new home for their people. Set upon by aliens they soon learn these warriors aren’t quite what they seem. They have a mission of their own and the female … own and the female scientists who are remarkably like them, are much too tempting to ignore.
Whisked away to a far-off world, the Odyssey’s crew find themselves mated to these powerful men. Expected to comply with the rules of both an old-fashioned and yet surprisingly advanced society, the women struggle with their new roles by testing limits, denying their fates, and ultimately escaping.
Brought together again through an interstellar treaty, both the scientists and the warriors must face down the challenges of integrating their two differently-minded societies. Can there be a solution to the ill-fated futures of both Earth and Primaria?

Primarian Mates is the complete book for Maddie’s series, and I have to say I enjoyed it. Although I did not enjoy having to repeat the beginning of how everyone met each time I started a new book.
The first story is intriguing, with a strong and intelligent woman who fights for what she believes. Her alien mate is an alpha male that wants to take care of his mate even when it pisses her off. The protection of mates and the women wanting to be their savers is the theme throughout the book, which I liked.
But again I started skimming the beginning of each book because I already knew what had happened for these women to have met they’re soon to be mates. Other than that this is a great book.
This complete Primarian Mates series contains 4 full length books – The Barbarian’s Captive, His By Command, His Rebellious Mate and Defying The General.
I had originally only read book 4 Defying The General in this series, so when the full book collection came out I was really excited having not had chance to go back and read the other 3!
This is a brilliant alien sci-fi series, very well written, each book a separate story about a different couple but each interconnecting. The world building and characters are superb and I loved the whole story line – very entertaining, action packed, dramatic and extremely hot reading, so much so that I read the whole 4 books one after the other, hardly stopping to take a breath! So if you’re looking for some hot, sexy, dominating, alpha alien reading incorporating some light BDSM / spanking, then this is the series for you.
The Barbarian’s Mate – Planet Earth is dying and the male species is dwindling due to war, so a crew of all women set out to try and find a compatible planet to live on. 3 years into their mission they find a planet that might be ok and a shuttle is sent down to carry out tests. Eva is one of eight women who are soon captured by large aliens that look like barbarians. Her alien turns out to be Kerr, who is the Princep or King of the Primarians, who believes he has found a mate in Eva. They are soon transferred back to their home planet where it turns out that these aliens are far more advanced than humans. Even so their ways, customs and cultures clash terribly and Eva and Kerr must find common ground if they are going to get on as mates.
His By Command – Maggie is Captain of the Odyssey who sent the shuttle down to the planet, only the women didn’t return. The whole ship with nearly 300 women on board are then captured and transported to Primaria. Commander Roth find Maggie in the control centre and is immediately attracted to her, but as Commander he does not want to be tied to a mate, but unable to resist the pull they end up being intimate orally. Unbeknownst to them this sets off the mating process and things get very interesting.
His Rebellious Mate – Eryn is a veteran soldier in military, set in her ways, not wanting a family life. When she is captured by Ram she fights and refuses to submit to him in any way, always rebelling and looking for a way to get free. She ends up being involved with a purist section of the Primarians who do not want humans on their planet and plots her escape.
Defying The General – Trask is the General in charge of all the Warriors on Primaria, he captures Lana on the planet and knows immediately she is his mate. They get along really well and the bonding process starts. But as the Primarians make a treaty with Earth, Lana takes the decision to leave Trask and head home, feeling that she is not his true mate and he would be better off with someone else.
I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these books, the complete set in only one book I was over the moon. I fell in love with the alpha males and the strong heroines of the series. Each book was about a different alien and their human lover. I highly recommend this series!
Ooooeeee. Want to talk about melting the edges of my Kindle cover! This book series was hot! I had previously read Marshal’s Law by Ms. Taylor, so I enjoyed escaping into her world of Sci-fi! Ms. Taylor wove stories that had me hard-pressed to put them down. If only I didn’t have to work at work! Hot sex. Alpha alien males. And, oh yes, spanking. Just loved immersing myself in Primaria!
I enjoyed this series! The storyline was good and the characters were great. I love a series you can sink your teeth into, especially one where previous couples feature in the following books. I loved the Dom nature the guys the had, and how they instantly wanted to protect their mate. I also loved that the women stayed true to themselves.
I absolutely loved this box set. It took me forever to read but it was so worth it. Definitely can’t be read in one sitting, but I think that’s what makes it so great. What can I say about the concept of these books? So intriguing and wonderful. I’ve always had a thing for alien romances but this definitely takes the cake. This world Maddie has created is phenomenal. The descriptions and how she writes makes you feel like you’re right in the midst of the story. I adored all the couples. They each were special in their own way. Just the right amount of dominance and protectiveness in the males and just the right amount of strength and tenacity in the women. The old fashioned society that is both advanced and antiquated was very well done. Each plot fit right in with the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed reading each and every one of these. I highly recommend for anyone in need a really great alien romance with a twist.
I really super enjoyed this story. The characters were so well developed that it seamlessly weave its tale with great detail and depth kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book.
I am getting into the alien romances and this one was really good. I liked the all female space ship crew. It was nice the get the entire series in one box set.

This series consists of four books: The Barbarian’s Captive, His To Command, His Rebellious Mate, and Defying The General. This series takes several human women through their first encounter with the male aliens on their hunting planet. It follows them as they learn what their duties as mates will entail. Being human, they will resist the dominance and leadership of the Primarians, wanting to only go home and help the rest of humanity on Earth as it is dying. Will they be able to talk the Primarians into helping them find a new home in exchange for some women as mates ? What will their life be like’as strong willed women adjusting to life under the rules as Primarian mates ?

I read most of this series but couldn’t really get into it. The kink part was fine, I just didn’t care for the fact that women had no power.

I’ve always loved Maddie Taylor books. She always delivers. This has four different stories about four amazing human woman who meet their Alien mates. While exploring a new planet the women are captured by Alien Warriors. You will become involved in each story and love the interaction between each women and her “Alien Master.” All the stories have an HEA. The best part of this book is that you don”t have to buy each book by itself. I would recommend this series. I look forward to more of Maddie Taylor books.

You will get sucked into the drama as an all female crew is on a mission to find another planet to become a new earth. What they find are the warriors /barbarians that are in need of women – oh the irony. All delicious stories.

This Primarian mate bundle is a steamy collection of action packed romances. Each story features a Primarian elite alpha warrior and the earth female he is a near perfect match to, his fated mate. Their paths are full of adversity and Primarian Purists dead set on eliminating the earth women who are critical to the continuation of the dying Primarian race. I loved reading each story from the Prime Leader Kerr and his mate Eva straight through to his cousin Trask and his stubborn love Lana. And yes, these are all steamy love stories full of dominating alphas and the earth women they bonded with. A worthy addition for my library.

Maddie Taylor’s Primarian Mates is a great SF romance series, and it’s wonderful to see it offered as a collection. The thing I most enjoyed about this series is that there’s an intriguing story thread running through all the books dealing with the social and political repercussions of the encounters between Earth and Primaria. Seeing how those repercussions impact the heroes and heroines of these books makes for a continually evolving and exciting saga. While each book in this series easily reads on its own, there are a number of elements that connect the books extremely well.
I love Taylor’s writing in SF romance and hope she’ll do more of it in future. If you know her through her contemporaries, give this series a chance. My favorite book remains the first because I love how Taylor plays with the “alien barbarian” trope, but all of the books are very good. Give Primarian Mates a try if you love SF romance!
If you are a fan of sci-fi romances then you need to read this set. The stories are full of excitement, danger, steamy chemistry, and wonderful HEAs. I loved it!
I love alien/human sci-fi romance and this series has been so much fun to read. Earth has gone to pot and humans need to find another planet to migrate to. In the process, an all female crew finds the perfect planet but they also find a band of Primarian warriors. Primaria needs women and the hope is Earth will be the much needed source. What ensues is a clash of cultures and lots of hot chemistry. Please read the warning blurb regarding the graphic content of this series. This is an erotic storyline with touches of BDSM and D/s. If that isn’t your thing, you may want to pass this one up. However, I thought it was a fun read and am happy to recommend it.

I read each of the books individually and loved each and every one. The only thing that would have made them better was having them in one location where I could have read them without having to wait for the next release. And anyone picking up this set will know what I mean. The writing will drag you into the pages and have you feeling all the emotions as if it was you living through the experiences. And with the yumminess of the Primarians involved, you will want a mate of your own. But the sizzle is really secondary to the excellent storyline and world/character development that is the trademark of this author. No matter what she writes, it is a winner and will have you hooked and one-clicking in the future.
This was a truly amazing set of books. Each one was intense in its own way. I love them all and I was very glad to be able to read them all in one sitting. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
