It happened at the worst possible time… I’ve been using to hide in plain sight. Because, in truth, I’m an Omega.
And then the unthinkable happens. The suppressants stop working in a crowded room full of Alpha men, one of whom decides we’re fated to be together.
He will pursue me until I surrender but while my body craves him, I refuse to give up my life to become nothing more than an Alpha’s mate…
Publisher’s Note: This dark MF Omegaverse romance contains elements of power exchange and explicit scenes which may trigger some readers.

Hiding in plain sight
I missed the first book in this series, but after being throughly captivated by Clara and Evander’s plight I am going to have to go pick it up. The author has created this elegant society that is like a shining star, well unless you are an omega. The disdain felt for this group is crazy considering that they are the cornerstone of the future. Never fear though, the author has created champions for the weak in a kind and gentle king and queen as well as this particular couple. You are sure to find yourself enthralled by the depth of detail and emotion in this tale as the author takes you on a journey to true love and a HEA you won’t want to miss. I can’t wait to read the next book by this author.
This was a fantastic story about Evander and his Omega mate Clara, who happens to be everything but an Omega, or so it seems. Evander has been anxiously waiting for the day when he would meet his mate, never did he imagine she would be an Omega disguised as an Alpha female. Clara has always suppressed her Omega identity and has successfully led an Alpha lifestyle until the dreaded day she finds herself standing in front of Evander. While her brain battles her bodily carnal desires, Evander struggles between being a caring understand mate and a beastly Alpha who must claim his Omega mate. This is a passionate sizzling story that will leave you wanting more estrus rut induced scenes!
When the suppressant fails and your true nature is discovered
Primal Mate is the first book I have read by Tabitha Black so I was not sure what to expect. I do read some Sci-Fi and the book description looked interesting so I thought I would see if I this author was one that I would like and possibly read again. I was only a short way into the story when I began to like the story-line and the characters. When Clara’s Omega suppressant fails, as she has been masquerading as an Alpha, and Evander smells her as his mate, you would expect the normal story of Alpha claiming Omega against her will no matter what. But in this story Evander still tries to win Clara over and accept that mating. Additionally the author writes about Clara having to deal with the ramifications of what she has been hiding for all these years, for her place in society, her career and with her family.
There were some areas that I thought could use an editor to tighten up the book and cut down on the number of pages. But overall I thought the writing was good and I enjoyed the characters and their relationship as it developed.
I will definitely be reading Tabitha Black again and hopefully in the Alphas of Sandor series.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
A thrilling book two in the Alphas of Sandor series! An on the edge of your seat read! The storyline is flawless, well written, and very interesting; packed with drama, action, suspense, twists and turns, and sizzling chemistry between the characters. It grabs your attention from page one and holds it until the very end. Definitely recommended!

Tabitha Black has taken us back to Sandor and her omegaverse. Her world is lighter than some of the other MF omegaverse books out there, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t every bit as good as the rest of the books out there. Because they really are fantastic. Her world is incredible, and it’s an interesting way of looking at the omegaverse.
Clara has been hiding her true dynamic for years. She’s an omega who has been passing as an alpha for years. She is a highly respected researcher and she doesn’t want to really want to lose that, and if ever becomes known that she’s an omega, she runs that risk. Then she goes to the facility and runs into Evander, and the unthinkable happens. They are mates.
I really liked the story, for a lot of reasons. One of them is that we get to see difference in expectations that Evander and Clara have when it comes to mating. Another is that we get to see more of the society and how society works. That is really fascinating, and I’m looking forward to see what is going to happen next.
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Clara is an Omega and has hidden well. Evander is an Alpha and is looking for his mate, when he relies who she is he talks to her to his fated mate. There is a lot of emotions.
Thank you for you allowing me to review your book.

Clara pretended to be an alpha for years with the help of medicine until it quit working. Then one night she was at a mandatory mixer to find mates and Evander, an alpha realized she was his fated mate and her secret was out. But the drama was just beginning for Clara and anyone in her life.

The second book in the Alphas of Sandor series I want to read the next book this is Omega Clara Pitino and Alpha Evander Bellum’s story. Everyone thinks Clara is an Alpha until her medication quits hiding the fact. This story has suspense, drama, danger, a very evil Father, and love.I enjoyed reading. Clara was an Omega even though she was taking a pill to mask her Omega scent. Her life was going well until her pills stopped working in the middle of a Alpha encounter. Evander was walking past Clara when all of a sudden he got the feeling of wanting to rut but he kept walking but the feeling was getting fainter. He walks back towards Clara and it hit him again. He grabs her and couldn’t understand since he thought she was also an alpha. But, realized that Clara had been suppressing through drugs her true Omega nature. As an Alpha she had all the privilege that they were afforded. Clara and Evander got together and as much as she couldn’t help herself. Finally Evander claimed her and Clara freaked out everything she was working towards seem to go down the drain. Clara is finding out through the Queen she could possible have the best of both worlds. Clara decided to hasten what needed to be said she gathered her friends and told them waiting to see the discuss on their faces but none came. Next she needed to tell her father and the King said he would help knowing her father was after a introduction to him. Twists, turns, lies and murder make this an exciting book
Book 2 in the series and this is a story of Alphas and Omegas and the dance to find their mate. Clara has lived a life of secrets…even from her own father. Now, she is being claimed. How is that possible with all of the work she has put into hiding? The one claiming her? A big, beautiful Alpha who only knows that she belongs to him and he must have her. Sexy and romantic.

Be prepared for a book full of action and lots of steam love scenes and am omega fighting to keep her own identity when the odds are against her. A really good read.
Clara is an omega but has grown up pretending to be an Alpha. If she is found out, she will lose her freedom, her friends, her job and everything she has worked for. Every month the alpha’s have to go to the Facility to search for their mates amongst the omega’s on show there. While pretending to view the men on display in the omega line, Clara is talking with Evander an alpha, suddenly Clara feels the estrus coming, despite the fact she had been taking suppressants to stop it from happening. Evander smells this happening and thinks he is close to his mate who is amongst the omegas. Clara has to get out of there immediately.
Evander is an alpha and he and destroy her life but he is her mate. He realises that Clara is an omega once he follows her outside. His rut has come in with a passion and he knows that he has to make Clara his. If only she would accept him as her mate. There is a battle where Clara has to accept Evander, and when Evander takes her against the wall, he has no idea that she was a virgin. He only finds out when he is knotted inside her and Clara tells him that he is her first.
Clara’s only experience of watching an Alpha and Omega has been watching her father and mother, her father treated her mother like she was the lowest thing in the world and she knows that is how he will treat Clara and send her to the Facility and wash his hands of her. Evander’s best friend is the king and he goes to him for advice and the king advises him to just claim her. So he does. Clara and Evander work things out between them and when Clara’s father finds out her secret, he tried to kill her. Evander came to save her and between the king, his omega and Evander and Clara, things work out and they have their happily ever after.

This is the second book of the omegaverse series. Super sexy, twists and turns, drama, but most of all the story of two people who start off on the wrong foot but end up with their love story. You have your very possessive Alpha and an Omega who is trying to fit in with all the Betas. Clara lives a secret life by taking suppressants to mask her omega tendencies. Evander is the male Alpha looking for his mate. When he happens to smell Clara as his mate and he’s so happy that he has her pegged in a room occupied by other Omega Males. Can’t wait for the next book in this series to come out. This Omegaverse doesn’t feel as dark as some other ones I’ve read. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
this is a dystopian set romance where humans are alpha, beta or omegas. the Heroine is an Omega who has been hiding what she is from everyone especially her Father who hates Omegas by taking Meds to supress her hormones so she can pass as an Alpha. When they Fail her mate finds her and her life as she knows it changes.
it is a wonderful read!

Mating his omega!
by sewsummore
Clara was an omega who had taken suppressors since she was a twelve years old. Her father had thought of omegas as lesser beings and she had feared he would kill her if he knew she was not the alpha she pretended to be. When her suppressors failed her Evander recognised her scent for what it was and took her to safety not only for her sake but also for his own because her scent told him she was his mate. There were many problems ahead for these two but eventually things worked out for them and while I could understand Evanders compulsion to mate with her, I also understood the reasons why Clara was hesitant to commit. This made book made entertaining reading and I look forward to reading more book by this author.

I totally enjoyed reading this splendid Sci-Fi omegaverse romance with a slightly dark undertone. It has an interesting, well-paced plot that is full of unexpected incidents & has some good scene descriptions & world building. The characters are strong-willed individuals with realistic emotional flaws & continue to develop throughout the story-line to ultimately complement each other.
There is: a female medical researcher & omega (Clara) masquerading as an alpha suddenly goes into heat when her suppressors fail as she come close to her mate (Evander), the royal couple (Arius & Saskia), her opinionated father (Neros), twists & turns, intrigue, drama, social functions, heat suppressors, secrets, deceit, some violence, confrontations, attempted murder, discovery, manipulations, threats, anxiety, dubious consent, emotional turmoil, guilt, shame, misunderstandings, apologies, disagreements, advice, emotional blackmail, desperation, claiming, mate, vulnerability, betrayal, verbal conflict, compromises, happiness, love, steamy scenes & a wonderful conclusion.
A great follow up to Primal Possession
Whilst this book can easily be read as a stand alone, Book #1 does provide more world building and some useful background information. It’s also a great read and one I’m happy to recommend, though I would say it had a darker edge to it than this one. Primal Mate has some elements of dub-con and a non-con event, though I would say no rape and very limited violence (perpetrated by a side character).
It took me a while to warm to Evander, but then it always does take time for me to accept the overly demanding alpha males in this type of story. His character had dimension and, other than his initial out of control behaviour, he was very respectful of and caring towards Clara. I loved how his personality was consistent throughout and that I came to accept him for his words, deeds and actions in the same way that Clara did.
Clara’s character was also very solid, a real role model for Omega’s everywhere! She retained her strong character and determination throughout the story, and I loved how this was incorporated with the series story arc to raise the profile and social standing of omegas.
I did feel there were conflicting messages around Clara’s father, and perhaps it would have been better for her to have just been compliant through fear of him, rather than through wanting to earn his love/respect/attention. This was the only occasion where I felt like I was expected to believe something because I was told something rather than being shown it.
Overall though this is a great story, I would definitely recommend it to those who love both omegaverse, paranormal and dark’ish’ reads.
I really enjoyed this second book in the series. Clara is pretending to be an Alpha because Omegas are not allowed to go to school or have a career. Unfortunately, her suppressants fail right when she is near her mate, Evander. Everything goes both right and wrong. She mates with Evander, but she still wants to have a career. There is a HEA and I’m truly interested in how the author is going to move this society in the future. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was my first book by Tabitha black and I enjoyed it quite a bit. There was tension as Clara tried to hide her true self, protect herself from her father, and adjust to having a mate she never really wanted. On the other hand Evander is all in, he’s been looking for his mate his whole adult life. Great characters with internal conflict and interrelationship friction. A true Alpha male with the need to protect and cherish his mate and a mate that’s to adapt to being an omega and not having complete control of her life. A couple of R-rated scenes, lots of clashing and disagreements, and a bit of instant love (if it can be called instant after being aquanted for year but finally seeing the “real” person can be called instant).
