Nice book with a different spin on love and family an has an HEA ending.

I absolutely loved this story, and the characters of Christopher, Vic, and Grant. There is a great cast of quirky and entertaining secondary characters, too, including Jonathan, Lee, and Flora. I was glad to see Christopher get to play the hero a little this time. He always seems a little scatterbrained and clueless (maybe he IS a zombie?) and in need of rescue, so it was nice to see him take the lead from Vic for a little while. I love the variety of characters (vampires, “reanimated” people, maybe some zombies), and the way they juggle the “real” world. Amy Specter writes my type of “horror” story. There are lovable characters, eerie situations, evil geniuses, mystery, suspense, and drama. There are also funny bits, like throwing a brick at the bad guy while shouting “A$$hole”…and missing the target completely. There is some blood and gore, but it’s modest. This is the third story with these characters, and Amy seems to write one every year for Halloween. I hope there will be another one next year. I want more of the story.
And be sure to read the two preceding stories “Cold Fingers” and “Body of Work.” They provide more background for the characters and how they got to this point.

He is still not a zombie. He had been bitten by a vampire and his ankle is healing. Things are not going to be easy for him when tragedy happened. He needs to make sure he does not cause a rift with his brother. He goes to work in a hospital and strange things start to happen. What is going on? Will he find out? See what is on

Some men promised you the stars, mine reanimated a corpse.
God, that was hot.
I love the Cold Fingers books, I love the perfect mix of funny and creepy. Christopher Minnick used to have an antique shop, but now he doesn’t really have anything except his boyfriend Victor Polidori, his brother, and a few friends…
Ms Spector writes the best secondary characters. While you have to love Grant, Christopher’s friend and former colleague, no one beats Flora, Vic’s mother, in my opinion. Flora is a crazy old lady with a thing for tasty young men LOL.
In this story, Vic is starting a new job so he and Christopher can spend more time together. But, something isn’t right at the private clinic and when Vic starts acting strange Christopher has to investigate.
