Giselle has been in the foster system since she was a baby. But when her wolf emerges in her teen years, no one wants her. She is moved from foster family to foster family. The problem? She’s been placed with human families, so no one to understand her or explain what she is going through. She is finally placed with a family who could become her forever family, but they are at war with another pack, and have been for years. Can an outsider like Giselle see both sides and heal the rift? And what does she do about the two hot and handsome boys she is attracted to? One is from the witch coven and the other from the rival pack.
This book was about a lone werewolf in the foster system named Giselle who finds out that there are other people like her, when she’s 16 she arrives at her new home. Then finds herself inbetween a fued of 2 different Packs. I absolutely loved Giselle. She was strong, determined and loyal. I really liked the story line and how it moved along once all the characters were introduced. I love reading about werewolves, and this did not disappoint. I really liked this story. This book is full of fast-paced action and intrigue, also a love triangle (boo). I would love to see more between Giselle and her relationships with Damien and Asher. Then add Witches in the mix. love it
Amazing
There was just something about this book I could relate too. I know the feeling of being in the foster care system all too well. Never knowing where you were going and always hoping to find your family, or one that wants you. There was always distrust never knowing if what they were telling you was true. This story takes that and expands on it, happy ending or not you must read to find out.
Once again Katie teaches us a lesson I in her book, although I imagine that everyone might take a different lesson away from it. Do you learn that you should never judge a book by its cover? Would you take away that just because someone tells you it’s wrong that you always believe on blind faith, or do you search for the truth yourself. Or I believe the biggest lesson is even though we love our parents they may not always be right even though we want them too, because what they have been taught is wrong.
Until Next Time…..Tabi
