★★★★★“Sex and the City meets Fifty Shades!” -Romance Author Linnea MayThe Good News: I met the man of my dreams last night. The Bad News: I divorced him seven months ago. I’m a romance author. You’d think I’d be an expert on happy endings, but things didn’t turn out for me the way they do in my books.Robbie Wheeler was my muse. A gentleman on the streets and a freak in the sheets, he was … the streets and a freak in the sheets, he was everything I thought I wanted in a husband. The classic bad boy with a leather jacket and a big heart, but he had his vices, too. Vices that would ultimately tear us apart.
I left him, but he never left me.
He signed the papers with a smile and promised to win me back someday.
I didn’t believe he could change.
Then, he showed up when I needed him the most.
He made me laugh when all I wanted to do was cry.
He held my hand when everyone else turned away.
My muse returned to claim my heart, but I couldn’t help but wonder…
Was this really our happily ever after?
Or was it all just another lie?
Pretty Ever After is the long-awaited third and final book of the Chicago Nights series! It includes brand-new epilogues for all three couples that you don’t want to miss! It is strongly recommended that you read the previous books first.

I’ve been wanting Robbie and Melanie’s story since I first met Robbie in Nora’s book. I knew with their banter they would be fire and ice. Their relationship would be full of passion.
I absolutely love Robbie. He is my favorite hero out of the series. I love how he was always there for the girls. Even when Melanie hated him, he was there for her, Trix, and Nora.
An engaging and entertaining story. I like second chance romance, but sometimes it felt a little too much ’back and forth’.

The long awaited book 3 in the Chicago Nights series is finally here! I’ve been so excited to dig in to Robbie and Melanie’s story since Pretty Little Thing (book 1). This couple intrigued me since they first appeared on the page and that intrigue came along for the ride throughout this whole story, I just loved them from page 1. There was lots of humour, steamy moments and a rollercoaster of emotions.
I loved Melanie and Robbie together. I loved the back and forth banter they had as well as those times they got along with each other, I thought they were perfect together.
I loved and enjoyed all the interactions between these other characters as well – Nora, Clive, Trix, Haley, Lance and Roger and Val too. There was humour, intense moments and some very sweet scenes that were heart melting.
And those epilogues were just too cute, I so wanted more after that!
I really like Tabatha’s book and this was no different. We finally get to see what happens with Robbie and Melanie. One way to get your ex back, is not lie. Robbie wants to prove he has changed since his and Melanie’s marriage went down the drain 7 months prior. He has always loved her and she him. You can see the connection between them, but sometimes, love isn’t always enough. This took me on one emotional up and down ride. I laughed and teared up. There were times when I shook my head and wanted to shake some sense into them. This is about going through great and not always the correct lengths to get the person you love back. I loved this story and being able to see their friends again.
The story we have all been waiting for!
It’s here,
It’s finally here!
And man oh man was it something amazing, well it was pretty perfect actually and just the right amount of over the top! And it was just like Melanie and Robbie perfectly imperfect. After so many hurdles these two had to go through they needed their happily ever after! It wasn’t easy getting there, but Robbie paid his dues and he wanted his wife back more than he wanted that bottle of liquor.
He did it,
They did it,
They finally got the ending they deserved!

Robbie and Mel fell head over heals for each when they met and well, she didn’t know that he was an alcoholic. They married but it wasn’t all bliss. Robbie was drinking, lying and stealing money from Mel’s purse for more alcohol. But, Robbie wasn’t all to blame, because there relationship was toxic to begin with and Mel wasn’t helping by enabling him in his bad habits. They are now divorced and Robbie still loves Mel and he has been sober for seven months and he plots, just like Mel writing her books, to get his wife back. This book was full of so many ups and downs that you didn’t know what to think when you got done reading it. This series is a total must read and the epilogues and this was a great way to end this series.

I am sure I was not the only one waiting on Melanie and Rob’s drama to unfold. It was worth the wait. The story will take you on an emotional roller coaster. it is seven months after the divorce. Rob is not over Mel and wants her back. The marriage was not pretty and when Melanie left, her hit rock bottom. It also caused him to start getting his act together. Even with his issues you cheer for Rob. Melanie, of course is a little wary. and she should be, Rob has good intention but his execution is not good. We will blame it on love. Well written.book that deals with the harshness of addiction and second chances yet still can have you smile at the antics of the characters.

I was so excited to read this book! This series has been great, and I couldn’t wait to read Robbie and Melanie’s story. The writing flowed well, and kept me turning pages. While I wanted to love Robbie, his methods were way off base. I knew it was going to blow up in his face, and it did. Melanie was a little too indecisive for me. She walked away from Robbie repeatedly in this book, only to come right back. I do think that they had great chemistry together, and they made a good couple after everything is out in the open. The ending was surprising for me. It all works out, but still surprising. I LOVED that all 3 women get an epilogue. It was nice to have the series end that way.

It’s never a good idea to start your campaign to win back your ex with lies but that’s just what Robbie does in Pretty Ever After. And even when he is making headway, he continues to lie. He even boasts about it like his plan is very clever, and I wince. I am quite fond of Robbie but this is obviously going to bite him in the butt. I feel for Melanie because being married to Robbie was no bed of roses. Who can blame her for being afraid to trust the new and sober Robbie? If only she could see into his heart, like we can.
This is another wonderful romance by the marvelous Tabatha Kiss. The writing is great and made me feel like a part of the story. I love the smart, fun dialogue and I adore all of these characters. They have a lot of heart and have been through so much together. It’s the final book and the last piece of this trilogy is all about reuniting Melanie and Robbie and setting them on their path to happy ever after. In addition to Melanie’s epilogue we even get one for Nora and Trix. I am going to miss this group of friends. This story is a fitting, touching end to this great series.

Realistic, Emotional and Entertaining!!
Melanie is an author and feels like a 5th-wheel as all her friends find their match. She is divorced from the love of her life after he became an alcoholic. When he comes back into her life, and a secret admirer makes himself known; decisions must be made and perhaps her heart can mend.
This is the conclusion of a series. I must admit I did not read the prior books as was recommended. At no time did I feel lost, and the emotions and struggle came through loud and clear in this story alone. I’ve recently started reading this author and could not turn down the opportunity for this story – it was excellent as a single, and I’m certain the entire series would be a treat!!
This is book 3 in the Pretty series of 3 friends. We read about Nora in book 1, and Trix in book 2. In both books we met Melanie and her ex husband Robbie, who are the H and h in this book.
Melanie is a rich girl, made richer by being a bestselling romance author. We find out that she divorced Robbie because he was an alcoholic. The first two books teased about these two still being in love. This book is the satisfying conclusion of watching them realize they don’t know as much about the other as they thought, and finding their way back to each other.
Yes there’s drama and silly misunderstandings, but they’re not over the top and they don’t get in the way of a HEA.
I love Tabatha Kiss, and this series was probably my favorite of hers.

Melanie and Robbie … OH MY!!!!
That’s a hell of a story! I am literally speechless!
These characters gave me a real headache!
Melanie is the stubbornest character I have ever read about, that’s for sure! She is stubborn to a fault, to be precise, always on the run when something doesn’t go her way, especially in her relationship with Robbie, her ex-husband, always giving vent to her heart with her friends about … Well, you have to read that yourself!
And Robbie? Well, let’s just say he’s a close second… always charming someone to do something for him, always scheming to win back his beloved ex-wife …
There’s so much back and forth in their relationship, so many twists and turns, that my head was spinning more than once!
This is the very worthy conclusion of this fantastic series, a really fulminant finale!
I’m a fan of this author’s work. She’s able to write romance, humor, emotional highs and lows, and can even switch gears into suspenseful storylines (check out her Killer Love series) …all while never losing sight of the core romance. Here, she pens a wonderful second chance story filled with meddling friends and family. It’s emotional in parts, aggravating in others, and there’s even a sprinkle of mild action toward the end.
This is Melanie & Robbie’s story. Robbie is the suave banter-ready cool guy with swagger everyone loves. Melanie is a romance writer who feels like a fifth wheel now that her friends are paired up. She hasn’t effortlessly penned a story since her divorce to Robbie. Even though she loves him, his constant state of drunkenness filled their marriage with endless heartache and pain. Now, sober for seven months, he’s begging for a second chance with Melanie, the only woman he’s ever loved.
There’s tons of heat here. Tons. But there’s also romance and a whole heck of a lot of banter and witty dialog. We get plenty of page time with Nora and Trix (and their guys) as well as nosy friends and neighbors. Side note, I loved Roger. He was not only a great sponsor for Robbie, he was a friend and had me smiling every time he appeared on page.
This story is the final installment in the Chicago Nights series. And we get a beautiful recap at the end of all three couples (Melanie+Robbie, Trix+Lance, and Nora+Clive). But this story can be read as a standalone.
/I received an advanced edition of this book. This did not affect my opinion of the book or content of my review./
I was so captivated as the journey between Melanie and Robbie unfolded that as I turned each and every page I felt like they pulled me right into their story until the very last page was turned!
This is a new to me author and I loved this series. The characters were wonderful. I look forward to reading much more from this author.

This is the concluding part to this series and what an ending it was. This is a second chance romance and who doesn’t love them .I have been waiting for their story from first reading them in the other books and it doesnt disappoint. I loved their banter it had me laughing out loud and it was just perfect for them. It was filled with passion and you do root for them hoping that their second chance will work out for them. You also get to catch up with the other two couples and I think this was the perfect way to end this series.

I was hooked from the very beginning of this book.
There’s plenty of laughs a bit a drama romance and steam
throughout the plot.
The chemistry between the main characters jump out at you
which makes them very alive on the pages.

We FINALLY get Robbie and Melanie’s story, the divorced “couple” who we have read about in the two previous books and now we get their story.
These two were on fire, in and out of the bedroom, the banter that had me laughing and snorting out loud, the steam that had me drinking many glasses of ice water to cool down and the struggles they both face, especially Robbie and his sobriety.
Once again this author delivers a read that is a page turner, a read I couldn’t put down till I was done. The past characters all make appearances and I loved seeing where each of them were in their lives and their HEA’s and the extra epilogues featuring Clive and Nora, Lance and Trix, and Robbie and Melanie….BONUS !!!!
