Love isn’t always pretty. Sometimes you have to break the thing you love in order to put the pieces back together again.
“Life is all about choices. Do I want pizza or a hamburger for dinner? Should I wear a red skirt or blue slacks to work? Do I take a million dollar check and divorce the love of my life to keep my baby brother out of jail? In case you’re wondering, I took the check. Now my ex … the check. Now my ex is back in my life. He’s still angry and…he’s my new boss.”
Pretty Broken Girl is the passionate retelling of a marriage gone wrong.
From the boardroom to the bedroom, Dakota Atwell and Samuel Seaforth are locked in a battle of wits and desire. One of them will break. One of them will pay. Both of them want to win. Neither of them expects to fall in love…again.
This is Book 1 of a series. It contains adult language, adult situations, and hot steamy sex.

This book was great! It was so easy to relate to because, in life it is so easy to make one choice that can change the course of your life so easily! I loved this book!!!!
I LOVE second chance romance and if there’s a marriage involved, EVEN BETTER! Loved this story. Steamy, sweet; sexy hero and lovable heroine!!!
I loved this book. It is very well written and I couldn’t wait to see how it ended.
Like it so much, read the entire series and waiting for mot.
Very good.
I loved the story, very interesting and different than anything I read lately
This was the first Jeana Mann novel I read, and it was fast-paced, witty, and I felt like I was part of the story, not just a reader. Jean’s writing is extremely visual.
Well paced, great fantasy to get lost in
Original! This broken romance tugs at your heartstrings!
Excellent story…. a different type of romance… not the typical boy meets girl … there’s a strong history between these 2 characters… you can feel the sexual tension page after page … it was nice to know that the ending was just the beginning….
A must read! This book is a total screwed up mess in the beginning but it becomes better..
Unconventional and Haunting
This is a haunting and unconventional love story. The story is told in a wonderful manner, from present to past as well as he said/she said. This is a story that I will need to digest for a while. It is a wonderful plot that tells you enough, but leaves it for you to ponder. I found the characters to be deep and believable. The plot is also quite realistic. There is graphic sex, but that is easy to skip over and an integral part of the story. I want to read more of this author’s work.
i have read this book and the next one in the series I have read these two books four times it does have sex in it but I don’t think it was put in it just have it in but I think it went with the characters and the plot of the story. it was a heart breaking story but the ending was good.
Unrealalistic. Towards the end redundant. Maybe just not a book for a mature adult reader.
Female character it’s too tragic to enjoy. I was expecting something more. But I got the same old story. And apparently it’s going to go on and on and more books so that she can be more tragic and used by all the other people in the boat including the male character. I was expecting something else, hope maybe.
I thought it was good enough to buy the next book.
Good read
Beware, it is a series about the relationship, not a standalone. But no plot cliffhanger, ending is “good for now” type.
The grief, anger, pain and needless cruelty Sam throws at Dakota can bring you to tears. It ends in a cliffhanger, so if you don’t plan on purchasing the other two books, you may be quite disappointed with the ending
