“Sweet, funny and off the charts chemistry!” –Sassy Southern Book Blog Fake relationship small town romanceI’ve gotten into my fair share of awkward situations… Although, asking a random stranger to be my fake boyfriend is by far the worst. In my defense, it was an act of desperation. An act I hope will keep away the men in town who see me as their ticket to becoming the mayor’s son-in-law.But … the mayor’s son-in-law.
But I have a plan.
1. Date my fake boyfriend long enough for the news to spread across town.
2. Have a very public breakup that leaves me too heartbroken to move on.
3. Continue living my happily single life.
There’s only one problem… Harris wasn’t supposed to be the kind of man I’ve always wanted.
There’s no denying the sparks that fly between us. Just when I’m about to give him my heart, he does the one thing I can’t forgive.
Our breakup is public all right, and the heartbreak is real.

If you love small town romances you need to read this series. The author writes stories with relatable characters that you fall in love with. Poppy and Harris are adorable and their pretend romance could be something more if they just let it. You will have to read to see what happens, which I encourage all to do because this series is fantastic.
In order to keep others at bay, Polly latches onto the first available man in the grocery store and pretends he is her boyfriend. Harris gets more than just his favorite jerky when he goes along with the ruse. But spending time together in order for the town to believe them leads to so much more than just a fake relationship. Can true love rise from a lie? Or will one lie turn to so many that Harris becomes no better then the men Polly held off in the first place? I fell instantly in love with these characters from the opening pages. As the story progressed i just wanted them to get their HEA. Once again Fabiola Francisco creates a world that seems so honest and true I would love for it to be an actual town. Another great read in the Everton Series.
