I’m a twenty-two-year-old virgin. Tonight that changes. I thought my first time had to be magical. The perfect date. The perfect place. The perfect guy. I thought I wanted to be in love. But now, I’m desperate. I’ll take any guy as long as he’s decent looking and treats me well, at least for the night. Turns out Mr. Perfect isn’t so hard to find. He’s hot, dreamy, and filthy rich. And he wants … me. Sex with him is going to be better than I ever imagined. He’s going to ruin me for all other guys. I know that it is just for one night, but it doesn’t matter. I’m happy to get my perfect night. One night isn’t enough, for either of us. Because Mr. Perfect just fake proposed to me. And he wants this proposal to last a lot longer than one night. Will you pretend to be my wife?
This is a standalone romance.

Truthfully, I’m not a big fan of fake marriage romances. There are so many of them and you can only tell the same story so many ways. But then I found out Ella Miles wrote one and since she is one of my one-click authors, I wanted to give this one the benefit of the doubt. I’m glad I did. She’s introduced us to Kade and Larkyn who take us on a whirlwind of angst, emotion, drama, and chemistry. There were parts that were fun and made me chuckle and then there were parts I want to knock both their heads together just so there might be a semblance of common sense fall out. It was a good read and one I’m glad I picked up.
I really enjoyed the characters and the story line. Is Sebastian going to have a book?
Kade and Larkyn’s story is Hot. Love how Kade protects her and come to her defense. Ella Miles done a great job in bringing the characters to life.
A very typical storyline…a rich man, fake marriage… Inevitable love and happily ever after. But it is told with lots of heart, steam, and interesting characters. Although predictable, the story will somehow draw you in and keep you reading.
She thought she had to find the perfect guy to get everything she ever wanted for her first team but she has waited enough. He comes along and he is not too bad but a he wants more. A pretend marriage. Will she take that step? Could it become real? E what will happen

I loved this story so much. It was everything that I wanted cute and steamy. A fake proposal turns into love but in the best way possible. Couldn’t put this one down and read super fast.
The style of writing was a bit amateurish. The characters were immature in their reactions. A lot of the details were thrown in for effect but then didn’t fit actions later. Lots of sexy parts, not much substance.
Awesome Story & Narration Riveting & Heartfelt!
Pretend I’m Yours: A Fake Marriage Romance
By: Ella Miles
Narrated By: Addison Barnes, Jason Clarke
This is an awesome audiobook and I loved everything about it. Ella Miles is a gifted author, I enjoy her writing style, she creates stories and characters that are realistic and easy to relate to. It is great to see a different side of her creative mind in this fake marriage romance. I adored the two lead characters, they are complex, each having their own issues and inner demons. Larkyn Day, soon to be college graduate and Kade King, a successful businessman. Kade feels responsible for his younger brother Sebastian, who finds ways to get himself in trouble. Kade is getting fed up with bailing him out and Sebastian’s reckless behavior is what leads him to Larkyn. I loved the chemistry between Kade and Larkyn, he sensed she was different from the moment he laid eyes on her. She is nothing like the typical women he meets, who want him for his money. She is not a gold digger or phony. After seeing what her family is like and how they treat her he comes up with a plan to help her get them off her back and to help him get rid of all the women who hit on him. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, some angst, twists and turns, some emotional and heartfelt moments and great fake relationship turned real. Ella Miles, thank you for another awesome & captivating story and the emotional rollercoaster ride.
I listened to the audiobook edition narrated by the talented Addison Barnes and Jason Clarke. They do an awesome job portraying the characters, humanizing them, giving each their own voice and personality. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the characters emotions, their attitude & passion which is reflected in their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the awesome listen
This isn’t normal read I’m used to from Ella Miles. I’m used to the dark mafia reads from her, so it was a little refreshing to get something a little different from her.
Larkyn and Kade were fun together I loved their dynamic and how things all came together at the end.
There were a few things in the story that could have been left out, like the beginning with Kade’s brother and a few other things within the story.
But for the most part, I really did enjoy this book and the narrators did a great job.
Great read.
Okay so Ella Miles you have done it again. I loved this book so much, it was exciting, engaging and I loved all the characters and could see this book coming to life before my eyes.

Wonderful read
It was a good quick read with likeable characters. Some parts were a bit of a stretch but overall I really enjoyed it.
Beautiful romantic & without a doubt unexpected ending. Heartbreaking but real.
It was an entertaining view of how a relationship evolved from very different view points.
Larkyn Day is about to graduate college, but she is on a mission to lose her virginity before she goes into the world!! But when she spends time with Sebastian King at his party, their plans get interrupted by the one and only Kade King!!! But while walking home to get away from the Kings, Larkyn finds herself being taken to the hospital. Kade stays with her and wants to stay close to her. But Sebastian feels guilt and needs to make things right, will he get the chance? Can Kade protect her from herself and her family?
Kade King has made a name for himself in business and among the ladies. He hates coming back to Santa Barbara, but when Larkyn needs him, he knows he has to keep her safe and close to him. Kade comes up with a fake marriage idea to help Larkyn with her family situation and with his own female trouble. It will be a win-win for both of them. But its not long before it is too real, can he keep Larkyn by his side? Will she agree? Will Sebastian help?
This story shows us what a wonderful relationship Kade and Larkyn have and so much more!!! This story includes love, lust, romance, family drama, forgiveness and so much more!!!! I received an ARC of this book from the author.
Enjoyed reading!
I felt like this book needed better editing. Some grammar issues and plot inconsistencies took away from the overall story. It was okay but needed polished.
I loved this book. It is a sexy billionaire romance.
