Someone is breaking through the cyber security system tech billionaire, Lance Moss built from the ground up and he’s running out of time to plug the holes before Club Solitaire is forced to close and someone gets hurt.Reluctantly, he allows his fellow board member and friend, Eli, to bring in an outsider to help. He’s not expecting to see his ex-girlfriend turned enemy walk through the door. … door. She’s still the hottest woman he’s ever met.

When she walks into her first meeting to see Lance sitting there ready to work, she turns and walks out.
Lance Moss ruined her life and there is no way she’s working with him.
But Eli begs her to stay and sweetens the deal with a bonus she can’t turn down. She vows to put aside her hatred to do the job, but then she’s gone.
Lance hasn’t changed and unfortunately, neither has her intense attraction to him. Glimpsing his dominant side makes her wonder what could have been. Those questions are intensified when she agrees to become a member of the elite BDSM club, so her presence there isn’t questionable.
As they race to save the club that has become a second home to so many, they must decide if setting aside their differences to pursue their attraction is worth it or if they’ll go their separate ways when the job is done.

Lance’s life is writing computer code and his partners hires a new coder not realizing that it’s his ex financee Marissa who hates him. Wow, these characters are engaging and well developed and the chemistry is undeniable throughout the pages. The storyline is full of twists and turns and suspense.

Lance and Marissa are unstoppable when they have to work together to stop whoever is breaking through Lance’s cyber security. Working with Lance is the last thing Marissa wants to do but Eli provides a bonus that she can’t refuse. As they work together old feelings surface between them. Will they be able to set aside their differences to work together and will it lead to rekindling their relationship? This is one story that draws you in and keeps you caught up in the drama from start to finish. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
I hadn’t read this author before, so when the chance to read an arc of this book popped up, I grabbed it. I really enjoyed it and actually went back and grabbed books 1 and 3 (this is book 4) to read as well. You definitely don’t need to have read the others to follow along on this book, it’s a true stand alone, however there’s a subplot that moves through all of them that is best enjoyed if you’re familiar with it. The writing here is flawlessly executed with a seamless plot that rises and falls in ways that absolutely kept me turning the pages long past bedtime. The characters are absolutely people I’d want to know and befriend.
I tend to avoid second chance stories because all too often the hero gets to go about his merry way and enjoy intimacy with new partners while the heroine pines for her lost hero. That’s thankfully not the case here, though I do wish our hero had suffered much more in the wake of their first chance ending. Fortunately he redeems himself by being ‘all in’ this time, though he’s still got some lessons to learn about how to not be a butthead man.
This book firmly planted the author on my radar and prompted me to begin following her. I’m looking forward to the next books in the series.

You sit on the edge of your seat not knowing which way to turn!
This is book is full of intrigue, angst, nerd stuff (that is awesome), hot steamy fun, crossed wires and so much more. I love how all of her books are so different and yet so awesome! I highly recommend all of her books. They are stand alone but best read in order. You will not be disappointed as you won’t be able to put them down. Can’t wait for Samuel’s story!
This is an ARC read. My review is honestly and freely given.
I have really enjoyed reading Pressure: A Diamond Doms Novel by Ivy Nelson because it is so hot!! This particular story is about Lance and Marissa. They have had a very steamy and hot past together but it did not work out for them. To say that they don’t like each other now, is a very strong understatement. When they are forced to work together to solve the issue with a security breach at Solitaire, it tends to bring up old feelings both good and bad. I love Marissa’s character because she is feisty and likes to be sarcastic to Lance. Lance has always loved Marissa even after they broke up. I wanted them to work out and get together. This book had me on the edge of my seat for a while. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest opinion. Loved it and I highly recommend reading this book!
Ivy Nelson has another hit with Pressure, her latest book in the Diamond Doms series. You do not have to read the previous ones to read this one although there are some repeat characters. Ms. Nelson does a great job of describing Solitaire the bdsm club that is the site of the problem and the characters involved with it.
In this book we meet Marissa a computer expert coder hired by Eli from Solitaire. She is hired to figure out what is happening in their computer system and fix it as several people had been outed recently. When she is faced with the builder of the system, Lance, her ex-fiancee she tries to quit but the money was made substantially better. Lance owns Moss Tech and some of his clients systems are being attacked too. Despite not having seen each other in five years and the relationship ending badly they must learn to work together again to solve what is happening to these systems and programs.
I received an advance review copy of this book in exchange for my honest and voluntary opinion.
I think this ranks as my favorite of the Diamond Doms. Marissa’s reaction when Lance walks into the room – my heart totally went out to her. Lance has fought tooth and nail against having an outsider look at his code, but, when it’s inevitable, he’s not ready for that outsider to be Marissa, to whom he owes far more than a grovelling apology. I found it impossible to put this book down; I had to know what was going to happen. There are also indications of how easy it is to ruin someone’s life with false accusations, how hacking really can disrupt everything, and how security may not be that secure – but there are also fantastic scenes at the club, great human interest interactions between Lance, Marissa, and the other club members and Lance’s employees. Yet again, Ivy Nelson has drawn us into the world of Solitaire and, this time, of Moss Tech, and I was very reluctant to leave.

This series gets more and more interesting with each book.
IT billionaire Lance had a problem. His apps keep getting hacked. Not only is it losing him clients but Club Solitaire’s security has also been compromised. The club’s board has decided to bring in outside help and he’s not happy about it. This is his baby. He especially doesn’t want help from the person they bring in – his ex. They had a D/s relationship until he called the police on her. So, no, he doesn’t think they’ll work well together.
Five years ago Marissa’s life fell apart and she’s been rebuilding it ever since. When she gets the request to help with Club Solitaire’s computer security system, she thinks that this will be her opportunity to finally be able to open her own company. Unfortunately the system was built by the one man she never wants to see again, the man that completely ruined her life, Lance. Can they put aside their past and work together for a common goal?
The !embers of Club Solitaire are having their information breached and it could cost everyone alot.Lance Moss is cyber security experts he wrote the code to keep it back proof but he can’t find out where they are getting in.So the board decides to call in another expert to help.Lance can’t believe his eyes the only woman he’s ever loved an made the biggest mistake of his life an lost her.Marissa Sullivan can’t believe she’s here to help Lance the man who owned her heart then broke it.Can they find away to work together? Will they BE able to bury the past an have a second chance? There are so many twists and turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see what’s next by this multi talented author.
Wow! What fire works!
Marissa is hired as a cyber tech but her boss would be her ex, someone she now hates. Lance is the boss who hates Marissa his new tech.
The fireworks that comes off these two is just amazing. Marissa not one to not stand up for herself, certainly does that, as does Lance. But necessity becomes more prevalent than hate in this scenario. There is so much drama and action in this book, as well as so much steam. It was amazing too read and had to be my favorite of the series so far.
This was an ARC and this is my honest review.
Ms. Nelson continues to create great stories of the board members of the Solitaire Club. This is Lance & Marissa’s story. Each book can be read as a stand alone and you don’t feel like you missed something if you haven’t read the previous books, but if read in sequence also make an interesting story line. Each truly has it’s own storyline. Just enough BDSM to make it interesting. Ms. Nelson truly writes a story and not just a bunch of sex scenes strung together.
Looking forward to the next one and these will stay on my Kindle for a reread in the future. I received an ARC copy for an honest review.
Smoking hot drama filled exciting story. Characters were well written and relatable. Storyline was exciting and full of twists. Loved the chemistry and passion between characters. Many lol moments throughout. Banter between characters added to the story and kept my interest while reading.
This book was full of suspense and sexiness. Definitely a great addition to the diamond doms series and an exciting second chance romance for Lance.
This book was sensational. This is Book Four of the Diamond Doms series. Ivy Nelson knocked this one out of the park. This book tells the romantic story of Lance Moss and Marissa Sullivan. Lance and Marissa have a complicated past. They were business partners and engaged until Lance put her and her career through hell when he thought she had sabataged the firm and betrayed him. Present day. They come face to face again when there is a cyber breach at Club Solitaire and Marissa has been called in to offer her expertise only to find out that Lance created the system from the ground up. This book is extra hot and steamy, romantic, displays BDSM, erotic, has mystery and suspense. This book is a must read and I highly recommend.
WOW ! Talk about intense ! A blast from the past can be good but can also be self destructive ? Which will it be for Lance ? I love Lance, I mean everything about him. Now Marissa is another story. I understand the hurt but come on WHY on WHY would she just not …. sorry can’t give it away. I loved this book and the intensity of it. I really really can’t wait for the next book! Great Job Ivy !!

Someone is accessing the club’s private information. Now the members are being threatened.
Lance is beginning to think these attacks are personal. They have hit more companies than just the Solitaire, through his data security system. Lance was shocked when he walked in and saw Marissa sitting at the table. You have got to be kidding me, he growled.
Marissa is a computer tech. She is familiar with the lifestyle, she walked away from it five years ago. She was asked to meet with Mr. Barrett to analize the security system. She froze when she heard him mention Lance’s name. It couldn’t be the same person, could it? She stood abruptly when Lance entered the room, oh hell no. “I’m so sorry, Mr. Barrett,” she whispered as she dropped the pen. “There’s been a terrible mistake. I need to go.”
Will Marissa find out who’s hacking into the security system? Will Lance be able to convince her to give them another try?
This was an awesome story.
ONE JAW DROPPING WHIRLWIND!!!
Ah snap! Ivy dropped the bomb and lowered the boom, raising the stakes and keeping it real, balancing on a razors edge and frozen to your seat, melding this baby together piece by jagged piece. One action packed, hard hitting, pulse racing, heart pounding, adrenaline pumping, page flipping bombshell, blasting this baby to life beautifully. Toss in the drama, intrigue, turmoil, misgivings, underlying threats, spiraling suspense and nail-biting situations along with a boatload of danger while dodging disaster, you have one jaw dropping experience. Shenanigans, escapades and havoc run amuck, blurring lines and crushing boundaries, limitations are amplified and exploited booting this gem into the eye of the storm, kicking it into a frenzy with an astonishing culmination. The magnetism, attraction and chemistry collides with such intensity, exposing deep emotions, drawing our characters closer binding them to one another perfectly. The characters are authentic and realistic with depth and qualities that add diversity, transforming into amazing personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and depictions creating an elaborate backdrop that’s so vividly descriptive it’s like your transported to ground zero with them. Remarkable job ivy, thanks for sharing this awesome little gem with us.
Club Solitaire is having an issue with Lance’s cyber security measures. He is angry and frustrated about the idea of bringing another expert on board to help work out the issues. Marissa is the board’s choice. Unfortunately, Marissa and Lance had been engaged 5 years ago. Their break-up involved sabotage and mistaken blame. While reluctant to work alongside her former Dom, Marissa is drawn to the outrageous salary and the connection to a BDSM Club.
This story is filled with intrigue, intensity, irritation, understanding and possible forgiveness. Will Marissa be willing to work with Lance? Will she ever be able to totally forgive him? When will they discover who is causing all the cyber trouble? Will Club Solitaire be able to overcome the sabotage? Will Marrisa and Lance find a way back to each other?
This is a very angst producing and soul searching story that kept me intrigued through to the very end. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Main Characters: Lance and Marissa
I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author.
5 out of 5 stars
This is part of the Diamond Dom’s series with Lance. Marissa and Lance I thought were well matched in the chemistry department. I loved all the characters in Club Solitaire. I like the dual point of views and I enjoyed the storyline because it keeps you guessing. Hot sex, BDSM, 2nd chance relationship. What was there not to love about this book??
Another hit for this series. The characters and the story top notch. This is my new favorite in this series.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
