Preppy finds himself back in a world he once loved, but no longer recognizes. His dim smile can’t hide his inner turmoil and the people he views as family all suddenly feel like polite strangers. Except for one person. A girl with dark eyes and even darker hair. A girl who isn’t even an option. At least, not anymore. Dre can’t decide who she’s going to listen to. Her heart, her head, or her body. … Her heart, her head, or her body. Because two out of those three things have her heading right back to Logan’s Beach. Closure is what she tells herself she’s seeking, but when she unlocks doors that were never meant to be opened she soon discovers that when it comes to Samuel Clearwater, closure might NEVER be an option.
This is book six in the King Series and the second part of Preppy and Dre’s story.

I’m all over the place, this book hits all your emotions you don’t know whether you want to cry or laugh.
Preppy come back from death is filled with pain and suffering it was not glossed over and made to look pretty, it was very painful to read. King, Bear and Ray, the helplessness they felt when they couldn’t fix or help him was hard to read as well.
There are so many scenes I loved. King threatening to kill Prep for real. Bear threatening him for the same thing. (Hint: pity fuck) My fave scene him and Rage (god I love that girl) I absolutely love Preppy and his preppyism.
As I was reading his story I knew this book was going to be fucking amazing.
Eek cliffy! I mean, I knew there was going to be one because there’s a part three. Hell, I don’t care if there are 12 million parts and all with cliffys, I’d still read every single one. Why? Because this girl loves her some Preppy! I can’t get enough of him and Dre. What a great part two. Can’t wait to see what part 3 has in store. The way it ended, nothing good is going to come, that’s for sure. (
Out of all the books in this series, this one was the hardest to read.
I love dark romance. The darker it gets, the better. But this book delves into the darkness that comes from the mind. It comes when someone has been pushed to their lowest and forced into a submission that doesn’t allow for fight or flight and then set free. This is the darkness someone who is broken, not just physically but mentally.
Preppy is clawing his way to the surface, but he can’t even tolerate the sunlight or the sound of his friends voices. His mind is spinning out of his control and even the sight of Bear’s eyes sends him into a panic.
It’s heartbreaking. It’s tear-inducing. It makes you want to kill Chop all over again. But it’s real. It’s not sugar coated or cured easily. It’s truth…Preppy’s truth.
Preppy: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater, Part Two by T.M. Frazier is the second in a three part series about our one and only Preppy.
Once thought dead, with an actual funeral, grieving friends and all, he is now back with us. In Preppy: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater, Part One we got a preliminary look into his life during the time frame when King was locked up and we met the one woman that could take everything this one really messed up (but completely loved) guy had to offer. That is, until he sent her away.
Picking up with Dre back in Logan’s Beach realizing that Preppy isn’t dead after all things just go off the rails from there. She loves him. He loves her. But after all he went through at the hands of Chop he has a long way to go before he is ready to deal with everything going on with Dre.
I really liked seeing a much stronger, cleaner version of Dre this side of her addiction. Preppy is just everything and this journey from coma to where this book ends was priceless! Up next, Preppy: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater, Part Three. Enjoy!
