For some, virtue is a vice… join her in search of respectability…
For him, vice is a virtue
Viscount Maximilian Dane is perfectly content being a rake. After years of obeying the dictates of proper society—with disastrous results—he stopped following the ton’s ridiculous rules, and he sees no reason to begin courting respectability anew. Except that it may be the only way for him to win the lovely and fascinating Miss Anna Rees—if only he could convince her that the grass is greener on the wicked side of the fence…

I very much enjoyed this story and the strange circumstances that were created for Anna and Max to begin with. It did a decent job of continuing to bring some of the characters forward from the previous 2 books, and spent most of its time developing ways for the two primary love interests to come to terms with their four year resentments of each other.
Original and enticing.
An absolutely wonderful book. I will have to read the rest of the series. The hero and heroine aren’t stubborn or silly. They talk out their problems, listen to each other and don’t jump to conclusions.
A fun read.
A witty, delight to read. Well thought out dialogue. Loved it!
Best of the series! I could not put it down. I picked up this series with the idea I trying a new author, and I could not have been happier with my choice. Wonderful characters, engaging stories – this one had me laughing out loud! What wonderful writing; I still have the scenes running through my mind as I type this and cannot help but smile. I am eager to read another series, and I’ll be sure to follow this author from this point forward.
I really enjoyed this book. Great characters and story was original. Would recommend. Hard to put down.
Started reading this book & stopped because it was so good. I wanted to read the first two of the series before I dug into this one. One of my new favorite authors.
For me, this was a story of courageous escape with humor and love mixed in along the way.
Did not finish got tired of repeat stories
Good story.
Fun story to read, I felt like this book could have been three times as long and the story line would have still held my attention. I’m giving it four stars because I feel like it should have been longer. The end was unnecessarily rushed.
Enjoyed the characters and the story
Once again tenacity and cleverness overcome regency strict code of conduct.
Quick at times witty dialogue make this a fun read
Loved! Great characters and story. Could not put down!
Good read
To be or not to be wickedly in love
The two most unlikely people may just make a love match if they can each put aside their preconceived notions and just choose love.
I found much to like about Practically Wicked by Alissa Johnson.
The lead characters were complex and their verbal dialogue had warmth and humor.
The story, though simple, had an edgy factor and a sense of potential danger.
The ending was sweetly cute and the epilogue was very satisfying.
I did have one negative observation. I would have liked for the author and/or editor to cut out a good portion of the head-space dialogue.
Content 411: This entertaining read contains a moderate amount of secular and religious swearing, as well as a mildly described sexually intimate scene.
I was very pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t expecting much since it was free on Amazon, but by the first few pages I was hooked.
Very well written and intelligent. There were no lags or a lot of unnecessary information. The thoughts and feelings of the characters was insightful and interesting. I loved Anna and I loved Max and I loved them together. They have such a unique chemistry.
Heat level=3/5 Nothing explicit or vulgar. Even considering the fact that she is the daughter of a courtesan. Very tastefully done.
