THIS KIND OF BUSINESS CAN ONLY BE PERSONAL
Sage Reese lives for her job. More precisely, she lives for her debonair boss, Parker Andersen. Sage handles everything for Parker, even as she fantasizes about the one thing that isn’t in her job description: him. But when a high-stakes account crosses the line from shady to deadly, a tough cop starts giving Sage the attention she wishes Parker would . … Parker would . . .
Detective Dean Ryker couldn’t be more different from Parker. While Parker wears expensive suits like a second skin and drives a BMW, Ryker’s uniform is leather jackets and jeans . . . and his ride of choice is a Harley. While Parker’s sexiness is a reserved, slow burn, Ryker is completely upfront about what-and who-he’s after. And Sage tops his list.
Now, as Ryker digs deeper into the dark side of Parker’s business, Sage finds herself caught between two men: the one she’s always wanted-and the one who makes her feel wanted like never before . . .

Of course it’s part of a series and it’s good. However, this is my least favorite series by Tiffany Snow. I love all her books. Her books are all very original and are not the same as most chic lit or romantic books. They all have adventure and romance with a strong female character. This one is a strong confident lead character from the beginning.
Sage Reese has found herself in quite the predicament, her boss Parker Anderson is dealing with some very dangerous people and has unintentionally taken her along for the ride. Her feelings for him are continually clouding her judgement and she longs to be something more to him other than just his executive assistant. He has given into their attraction to one another a couple times, but always ends on putting the brakes on it, and tells her he is no good for her, and that he can’t be who she wants him to be. So, she has done her best to ignore her feelings for him and move on, only every time she finds someone, he ends up intervening one way or another and sends the new man in her life packing.
That is until she meets Detective Dean Ryker, Dean is investigating her boss, and warns her that her loyalty to Parker has put her life in danger. Dean makes his interest in her known the first day they meet, and she is unsure whether or not she can trust him, and wonders if he really likes her or if he is using her to gain better access to her boss. Dean and Parker have history, and a tainted part of their history has caused them to be sworn enemies, so when Parker finds out that she is spending time with Dean he loses it. Parker warns Sage to stay away from Dean because he is dangerous, but there is something about the bad boy detective that she just can’t ignore, her attraction to him cannot be denied, and he is offering her things that Parker has continually denied.
Sage has found herself stuck between two men that she doesn’t want to lose, but both are tearing her into two different directions, and she knows she is going to have to eventually choose one over the other… question becomes does she choose the one she loves, has always desired, and that has continually denied her his affection, or the one who makes her feel alive, wanted, and willing to give her everything she desires…
This was my first experience reading a book by this author, and I have to say, that I am totally kicking myself for not reading one of her books until now. This book grabbed my attention almost immediately, and had me flying right through the pages, I had to know what was going to happen next! And I have to say that the cliffhanger totally took me by surprise, and left me dying for more, I cannot wait to read the next installment!!
I love reading stories with love triangles in them, and I have to say this is by far one of my favorites to date!! Ms. Snow has created one exceptional literary masterpiece here, and I highly recommend you get your hands on it, it is sure to satisfy all of your reading needs and then some!!
