Cameron Thorne and his fiancée Amanda Spencer don’t for a second believe the Ark of the Covenant is hidden in a cave in the Arizona desert. But when a militant survivalist leads them to a radioactive replica of the Ark, filled with a mysterious white powder, they begin to wonder if legends of Templar Knights visiting the American Southwest on a secret mission might be true. What is this strange … strange white powder? And is it the key to understanding the true power of both Moses and the sacred Ark of the Covenant?
Based on actual historical artifacts, and illustrated.
Publishers Weekly says of the author, “BRODY DOES A TERRIFIC JOB OF WRAPPING HIS RESEARCH IN A FAST-PACED THRILL RIDE.”
This is a stand-alone novel with recurring characters. These books can be read in any order.

I really liked this book, part of a series by the author positing that a fragment of the Templar Order made it to North America, after escaping France. They would have likely followed tales of the Vikings, who summered here to fish off of New England & Maritime Canada, far before the Pilgrims arrived. In that sense he did build his own world regarding how they arrived, and survived here, they were far
from helpless & hapless like the Pilgrims. He creates their activities with a Master’s Hand. They are well written, easy to read, & thought provoking. There is action & conflict, and some interesting twists, that I enjoyed. I recommend the books and their author highly.
About 70% through and like it a lot. You must read the disclaimers before reading. I enjoy reading about the historical background of the artifacts described in the book . I found different theories of possible visitors to this country very interesting. Could give a better review if I were finished with the book, but. Very enjoyable so far.
Always enjoy David Brody’s unique fixation on what history doesn’t tell us.
It’s humbling to realize things are not always what they seem!
I like the characters and understand the plot. Glad that there was a breakeven outcome for the ending. Hope to continue learning about American history that is not mainstream.
good plot with interesting twists on old stories
Good, but less plausible than the previous two from Brody.
Love the connection to real-world artifacts and theories!
