Korie Potter’s got goals. Goals that do not include following in her mother’s footsteps. Rock stars and the life of the rich and famous? Yeah… not interested. She likes her heart in one piece, thank you very much. Until a weekend of booze and bad decisions at camp Pour Judgment finds her fake-engaged to country music’s most notorious bad boy, Rhett Taylor, and completely at his mercy. You see, … mercy.
You see, Korie Potter’s also got a dream, and her new “fiancé” just may have the connections to make it come true.

I went into this book blind and I’m glad I did as I was drawn in from beginning to end.
Korie has a hang-up when it comes to singers, she doesn’t trust them as they remind her of her father. When she meets Rhett, hers cousins bandmate, its not in ideal circumstances and only fuels her low opinion of singers. Unfortunately for her Rhett is completely smitten with her as he loves her sass and snark, she doesn’t fall at his feet like other women.
I actually quite liked Rhett. He was sweet and swoon-worthy in his attempts to woo Korie and prove he was nothing like her father.
Sweet moments mixed with humour and heart this makes this a must read.
Pour Judgement was everything!! Laugh out loud, so darn sexy and making my heart jump in my throat. Heather Orgeron has a wicked sense of humor that has me laughing out loud and not caring who’s listening. What an incredible twist that I was not expecting at all ! I fell in love with the amazing chemistry between Korie and Rhett that I couldn’t stop reading! Amazing, emotional and absolutely beautiful story. Determination and love can solve the hardest of obstacles.
I absolutely loved this book and am so happy Heather released this book!!! I know sometimes it may seem like forever for some authors to put a book out but they just have to make sure they are putting out the best possible book for us as they can. And do you want to know something this is exactly what happened in this book!!! Rhett and Korie will absolutely steal your heart!! And I love that Korie is a pro at a usually dominated male sport. And I love Rhett and his pint size princess. Heather always mixes the perfect blend of romance, comedy and heartbreak to make you love every single moment of her books!!! I highly recommend this book!!! By Tina
Korie is the girl who steers far away from the famous musician, party world. Her cousin is in Rhett Taylor’s band but that doesn’t mean she has to have anything to do with them. Korie catches Rhett’s eye and he can’t just walk away. Will one spur of the moment decision change her mind or does what happens at Camp Pour Judgment stay at Pour Judgment?
I started Pour Judgment and thought I have read this story before how is that possible. What a pleasant surprise when I realized the original novella was in the Spring Fling Anthology and now we get the rest of the story. This was my first read by this author but she kept me entertained. Korie and Rhett’s story is a sweet, fun read. Looking forward to reading more by Heather M. Orgeron.
I’m am legit obsessed with anything Heather Orgeron writes. She is one of my faves y’all. No Lie. This lady is my soul sister. She’s got a ton of kids, I have a ton of kids. I feel like we’re kindred spirits, in a totally Anne of Green Gables way… Not like a creepy stalker way. Lol
I couldn’t wait for this book. I got a little taste of it in the Poor Judgment novella in the Spring Fling anthology. Which of course is like giving a chunky chick a spoonful of frosting and sending her on her way, but her knowing there’s still more of the frosting to be had. So obviously I had been foaming at the mouth for more of Korie Potter and Rhett Taylor’s story. BTW it was worth the wait. GAH! Heather DID NOT DISAPPOINT!
Originally Korie meets Rhett at a Hollywood party when she attends to see her cousin, Nick who happens to be a drummer in The Rhett Taylor band. Rhett is in a bit of a compromising position when she walks up and it comes as no surprise to Korie. She is the product of a washed up rockstar with whom she has no relationship due to the way he treated her and her mom her whole life. Because of that she has a strong distaste and distrust for the music industry and the lifestyle and anyone in it. Except for maybe Nick. When Rhett immediately notices the sassy beauty, Nick issues a hands off and a “it will never happen” warning that just basically threw down a gauntlet. Fast forward a few weeks later…
Korie and her BFF Raven have showed up on Spring Break to Camp Poor Judgment. An Adults only week of non-stop drinking, good ol fashion girls vs. boys competitions, and debauchery, set up in a summer camp style atmosphere. Imagine her surprise when The Rhett Taylor Band shows up to the party it up as well. Now I never went to summer camp as a kid, but dad blastit- I would be the first on the bus to Camp Poor Judgment. Everything about that was hilarious, like rollin on the floor laughing yo AO! I mean the Lush Puppies and Team Tap That!!-for camp team names.Yes Please! That is just the beginning folks. Each amazing event in this whole part of the book is awesome because while yes, it is beyond hilarious. But also because I’m in absolute AWE at Heather’s creativity and attention to everything. She brought us all in and made us feel like a little part of Camp PJ too! Lol
While there Rhett realizes that Korie is unlike any other woman her has known before and he wants to see where this could go. When a silly misunderstanding gives him an opportunity he jumps on it. Will he be able to break down her barriers and win her heart for real?
Korie is skeptical and untrusting where Rhett is concerned, she just can’t help it. It’s what she knows from childhood. When she begins to see Rhett for Rhett and not for the industry he’s a part of, or not base him solely on her experiences with her father she finds herself falling hard and fast for Rhett Taylor. Will he succeed in his quest to make all her dreams come true? What happens when she begins to suspect maybe Rhett wasn’t all that truthful, will her heart be able to handle the devastation?
YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST READ THIS BOOK! There cannot be a Heather O. book that comes out that I’m not going to devour. She has this way with her word wizardry to make a crappy day better, or just a regular day a spectacular day. Her books are freakin’ hilarious and original. You can never even begin to predict the crazy that’s coming your way in the next chapter. What you can predict is that it’s gonna be awesome. She is gonna jam pack that sucker with the perfect amount of funny, hot in sack, conflict, misunderstanding and angst. You know she wants our BP’s and anxiety up a little. We gotta have those “Nooo and “imma bout to throw this kindle” moments. Right before she rounds it out with usually some sort of “ hilarious failure of a grand gesture” for the reunion. So you get your HEA!
*I voluntarily reviewed an advanced complimentary copy of this book!
My cr8zysockbookblock blog wrap up for this book!
– HEATHER IS my Bosom Friend.(another ode to AOGG, apparently I’m on a kick) Every book she writes , I think this one is my favorite. I’m wasn’t sure anything will ever beat Boomerangers… but this just might be the one!! The secondary characters, locations, everything added up make this book sheer perfection!
– HOLY HOT BISCUITS AND GRAVY! This book may be funny but there ain’t nothing funny about their lovin’ y’all. It’s down & dirty and hot and yummy!
Cliffhanger Warning-NO CLIFFHANGER. This ending though. Never Have I Ever liked and ending so much. Lol
Can someone please help me find my heart because I’m sure I’ve left it somewhere in this book!
I absolutely adored this book! Full of sex and sass with so many amazing moments thrown in between I couldn’t put it down!
And the freaking characters!!!
Heather where in the world do you dream up these fantastic people?? I feel so hard for Rhett within the first few chapters I knew my heart was a goner and I didn’t care because that mine was FINE and his heart was as beautiful as him! And Korie where do I even start, my admiration for her strength at time’s only made me fall deeper for her. Her devotion to her passion made me want to bow at her feet and when she loves my god she loves hard!
In true Heather form this was a definite must read that should be on everyone’s list, I only wish I could rewind and discover Rhett and Kories story all over again. Although I’m left a little curious about some of the other characters so I’m holding on to the hope we may hear from them all again.
This book was laugh out loud funny, the chemistry was sizzling hot, the antics were hilarious, the banter was everything, the feels were there too…need I say more? Rhett was sexy, sweet, and totally swoony! Korie was a hoot. She wasn’t impressed by Rhett’s status as a country music superstar. She was strong, caring, independent, and had quite a mouth on her! It was the source of many hilarious moments.
This was such a good book. It had elements of enemies to lovers (more on Korie’s part, not Rhett)/fake fiance trope. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. It was engaging and I fell in love with the characters. Heather Orgeron knocked it out of the park with this one! I highly recommend reading it!

Pour me a Stiff Drink because i’m totally in love with Rhett & Kori’s Story in Pour Judgement. I couldn’t get enough,They played with my emotions like a finely tuned instrument and I gladly followed along with the beat of their drums. Like a pied piper calling the reader sucking them then and not letting go until the last page has been turned.
Rhett Taylor is not at all what he appears to be in the media, the handsome an swoon worthy country star is out to prove just that to the one woman who keeps eluding him. But he soon learns that he must show her is “Stardom” is just an act. But can he break down her walls and get his foot in the door to her heart?
Kori Potter knows all too well what fame can do to a person, she is hell bent on keeping the one man she wants as much as her next breath at bay. But how does one do that and keep your heart intact while pushing on a revolving door that won’t stay shut?
Heather M. Oregon is a completely new to me author and i must say she knows how to write a story that will suck you in to oblivion, playing a fine tune to keep you going, laughter, lots of hot sex that will have you drooling, tears that need to be shed, and a heart so full you are begging for an encore. I truly hope she can write more with the rest of the characters in this one cause she now has a fan girl begging for more.
Korie and Rhett. SIGH!! Love them soooo much! Rhett is a country star living his dream. He has all the charm you would expect him to have. Korie is my absolute favorite type of heroine. Total sass and attitude that gave Rhett a run for his money. Initially I couldn’t even handle Rhett’s cockiness. I caught myself rolling my eyes one too many times but then that cockiness turned into determination, and I LOVED that! A man that knows what he wants and did not give up. So sexy! and the way he pushes Korie to go after her dreams—total SWOON! There were times when I wanted to smack Korie upside the head with all her stubbornness but overall I loved their connection. The epilogue was the absolute best! If you love a good love story mixed with humor and heart you need to pick this book up ASAP. 5 stars! **I received an ARC in exchange for an honest reviewHeather M. Orgeron
Where can I get a guy like Rhett Taylor? Seriously this guy will melt your heart. And Korie is so sassy. These two make the perfect pair! I absolutely loved their story!
Pour Judgement is such a fun read. It is laugh out loud funny and jam packed with swoonworthy goodness! A definite read! I promise you’ll fall in love with Rhett & Korie’s story too!
This was such a light and fun read! I literally laughed until I cried! It was perfect!
I’m a HUGE fan of romcoms and Heather Orgeron doesn’t disappoint! I mean, I didn’t think she would, seeing as she co-authored my most favorite book ever-Heartbreak Warfare. Two extremely different books, but sooo much awesomeness!
I double dog dare you not to fall in love with Rhett Taylor. He is everything you would imagine a rockstar would be. Swoon worthy, deliciousness with the patience of a saint when he sees something he wants. And he wants Korie.
Korie has an intense dislike of celebrities. From her perspective, it is warranted. Rhett lays eyes on her and you might as well say he called dibs. Korie agrees to be his fake fiancé. But…is it really fake? Will they catch feelings? Will it all end in heartbreak?
There’s only one way to find out! If you love to laugh out loud and swoon in the same moment, this book is right up your alley!
Get ready to rework you Favorite BookBoyfriend list, Rhett will definitely jump to the top. I seriously loved the sweet, funny, swoony, story. Rhett Taylor and his band first come off as your typical groupie loving playboys, but OMG we are So WRONG.
Korie Potter is just wanting to finish college and get her job working at the children’s hospital. After a fun outrageous stay a camp Pour Judgement, she finds her self engaged to the one person she said she would never give a chance to. Korie knows from experience Rhett is into her until the next thing comes along, his lifestyle is just like her deadbeat daddy’s. When offered a chance to play in the Xgames she goes along with the lie.
This read was so funny, and light but still gave me all the feels. Rhett is just what everyone dreams about. Sign me up for Pour Judgement Camp.
Heather never disappoints, and I loved Rhett and Korie so much! From their first meeting on, I was HOOKED.
Move aside last book boyfriend, your spot has been taken!
I fucking loved this story.
So funny, super hot and *swoon* Rhett he gets ALL the heart eyes from me!
Korie…. I really enjoy a heroine with sass and she had it in spades. It made for some absolutely amazing banter between the characters.
Is there actually a place that offers this type of thing? Because it sounds like a riot!
Sign me up for Camp Pour Judgment, Mumma wants to have some fun
Korie Potter is on a mission to be the best person she can be without following her mother’s footsteps falling in love with a musician. She is currently a college student on spring break going to camp Pour Judgement where she runs into her cousin, Nicholas and his mates, Rhett Taylor’s band, including the man himself. The first time they met didn’t go so well and now they are spending a whole week together at the camp that needs no further explanation. This story has all the shenanigans and mayhem, that is until someone falls in love and changes the game.
Pour Judgment was a nice, heartwarming, quick read.
This is the story of Rhett, a famous country singer and Korie, a college student with the dream of becoming a well-known skater. She also hates singers and when they meet at a party she puts up a fight against Rhett’s courting but he is definitely ready to fight for her.
Will he succeed changing her mind??Or their relationship is doomed from the start?
Read this story as soon as possible, I bet you fall head over heals for the swoon worthy hero.
I finished this book a few days ago but I needed to clear my head before putting pen to paper because I really hope my words will do it justice. I was captivated from the first page to the very last line and I knew I was reading a great book because I really didn’t want Korie and Rhett’s story to end.
Rhett could have any girl he wanted so why did he choose Korie I guess it was because of the sizzling chemistry and the witty banter this couple shared throughout the book but will Korie trust this swoon worthy charming hunk of a man or will she only see her father in him………
A random hook up turns into so much more when feelings come into play and Rhett won’t give up without a fight, he is determined to win the girl he sees as his. This book has it all, it certainly ticked all my boxes, I laughed, I sighed and at times I wanted to scream but one things for sure this is going to be in my top reads of 2019 and I’m sure if you take a chance and one click it will hit all the right spots for you too. I will certainly be recommending this book to anyone who will listen because if you love romantic comedy this is a must read!!!
I received a review copy before release for an honest review.
This is a standalone book and I loved every second of it. Seriously LOVED!! It is a Rockstar romance with a dash of hate turning to love and instalust.
Korie is the daughter of a Rockstar who cheated on her mother over and over again with a drug habit as well. She hates the Rockstar life and lives a life far from it. Until she attends a party for her cousin, Nick who is a Rockstar. She meets Rhett at the party. Rhett is a very popular country rocker who actually got his start with her dad and is in a band with Nick.
She hates Rhett on sight but he has a major crush on her. He decides to join her at an adult spring break camp called Pour Judgement. And that’s when the games and begin. She runs and he chases and eventually someone takes a picture and the world believes they are engaged.
Korie has a dream, she skateboards and dreams of the X Games. And Rhett uses her dream to get closer to her. This was a very original story from the summer camp for adults to the dream of Korie in the X Games.
I have only read a few books by this author but this is my absolute favorite.
Its taken me a while to think what to write in my review to do this book justice!
Pour Judgment is a story that will have your heart all a flutter, the antics of the characters will make you laugh and the sizzling chemistry between Korie and Rhett is off the charts!
I loved Korie and Rhett; be still my beating heart! He was the quintessential whole book boyfriend package! He also goes after what he wants! And he wants Korie!
This book had me hooked and I thoroughly enjoyed it! But what happens when the relationship doesn’t go according to his plan, is he like her father? Or does the whole truth eventually come out?! Can she really trust Rhett?
A book that I would highly recommend reading! So incredibly enjoyable!
