Great read!!!
Read long ago … too long to write a fair review.
Great suspense
I mostly enjoyed this story, but I removed one star because I was disappointed in the ending. I’d read a review that had said there was a twist to the ending, and so I suspected almost every character from the beginning as the possible villain. I won’t give away the ending, but I was terribly disappointed at the way Ms. Cornwell handled it. I …
Cornwell’s early Scarpetta books were great reads and I gobbled them up. I gave up on her a few years ago though. But definitely the first half dozen books are quite good.
This book has it all! Mystery, romance, action, and a bit of humor.
I love Patricia Cornwell! The story sucks you in and you cannot put it down. Leaves you wanting more.
I love her books
Huge Scarpetta fan. Love every book in the series.
Love it! Patricia Cornwell is amazing!
Patricia Cornwell is another favorite writer! Her books are intriguing and action filled. Highly recommend this author!
I have read all of Patricia Cornwell’s books. She uses her characters and their quirks and wisdoms wisely. I would suggest reading from her first book through.
An awesome page turner
Don’t like this authors writing style .
Love her book
This book started off a bit slow, but built to a satisfying climax. Nicely drawn protagonist. I didn’t care musch for the supporting cast, particularly Marino. Groundbreaking at the time, it seems a little dated now after years of CSI, Bones, and similar shows. Still worth a read.
I love early Scarlett’s novels. They were taught and edgy. I had many sleepless nights reading her books.
Great Read!
I just love her books.
Loved it!!
