From USA Today bestselling author Willow Winters comes an emotionally gripping, standalone, contemporary romance. It was never love with Daniel and I never thought it would be. It was only lust from a distance. Unrequited love maybe. He’s a man I could never have, for so many reasons. That didn’t stop my heart from beating wildly when his eyes pierced through me. It only slowed back down when … through me.
It only slowed back down when he’d look away, making me feel so damn unworthy and reminding me that he would never be mine.
Years have passed and one look at him brings it all back.
But time changes everything.
There’s a heat in his eyes I recognize from so long ago, a tension between us I thought was one-sided.
“Tell me you want it.” His rough voice cuts through the night and I can’t resist.
That’s where my story really begins.
Possessive is an emotional, gripping story. Filled with heartache, guilt and longing! Possessive will take you on a journey of obsession and jealousy…it’s emotional, raw and captivating. – Beyond The Covers Blog

Possessive is a good book. It’s about a love that’s an obsession, it’s about consequences, and it’s about tragedy and sacrifice. This book will have you thinking about the why’s. I love what Willow’s done with this book. The writing and storyline is amazing. With all the things that happens in this book, you’ll definitely be interested to see what going to happen next.
Possessive was an emotional journey pulling me in all directions. The moral dilemmas and guilt faced by Daniel and Addison kept me glued to the pages. Their attraction and self-restraint definitely gave this story the slow-burn that led to explosion.
Ms. Winters kept us wondering and guessing on where her characters would go right up till the very end. The angst she throws in had me biting my fingernails, yelling NO to an empty room. My kindle survived the abuse and is ready for more stories in this series.
I love the dark and edginess I get from Willow Winters. Romance at its best. Not all chocolates and roses. It is bitterness and thorns along with passion and lust. I’m always sated in many ways after spending time in Willow’s worlds. This one left me a tad empty in the end. I wanted to see so much more of Daniel and Addison but I know we will, in future books. I was happy to see that the Cross brothers will be featured in books to come.
If you are looking for a book to introduce you to the dark side, I recommend Possessive. It gives just the right amount, precariously balancing on the tip of a double-edged sword. You’ll never know which way the characters will fall.
OMG Willow what a fantastic story. Daniel and Addison’s story had me in tears and i was brought on a rollercoaster of a ride through all there ups and downs. Cant say to much with out telling you all to much of Daniel and Addison’s story. A must read people. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Live March 13, 2018!

Absolutely loved this book, can’t wait to read Heartless!
“I don’t care about anything that happened yesterday as long as I get you tomorrow….”
That quote above sums up this fantastic book by Willow Winters. (It’s also has to be one of the most swoon worthy, in my own humble opinion!)
This story of Daniel, Addison and Tyler is so moving! It certainly pulled at my heart strings and made me tear up as I was reading it!
Addison is such a survivor, my heart broke for her and I could really feel the pain she went through in this story.
Daniel is the ultimate alpha. He knows what he wants, what he has always wanted but doesn’t know how to work through the pain and guilt to really stand up and go for Addison, heart and soul.
The pain that both Addison and Daniel share is immense and it really is a huge obstacle for them to overcome, but through the fantastic use of flashbacks throughout the story you see where they have been and what makes them who they are now!
I so enjoy Willow’s work, her stories are gritty and steamy and are such page turners. She teases you with her words and sucks you into her world and characters! I cannot wait to read more from her!
I love how Ms. Winters is able to pull me into the world she created. I was captivated from the start.
Possessive is heartbreaking and haunting. It’s absolutely beautiful.
Addison and Daniel are both broken and each defined by the tragedies of their pasts. Their journey is filled with a myriad of emotions, and the way it was all brought together was stunning.
I love the characters, the background, the twists and turns. I love this journey. I didn’t want it to end!
Addison has been running for years but the most recent reason is the death of Tyler. She has finally decided it’s time to put down some shallow roots and enrolls in college to get a business degree. It can only help with her already established photography business. While at a local bar she is aware of people coming and going but all of a sudden the air shifts and that voice, she recognizes it even though she hasn’t heard it in the five years since Tyler’s death: Daniel.
Daniel is at the bar waiting on Marcus but he sees her, Addison. What is she doing here? He leaves, he has to get out of there and collect himself before meeting Marcus. Later he goes back in through the back door. Jake, the bartender offers to text him if she shows back up.
Tyler was the baby of the five Cross brothers. Daniel, his older brother, captured her attention and heart the first time she saw him. She knew she shouldn’t stay with Tyler but she he loved her.
She was too young at 17 and she wasn’t his but his brother’s. It killed him to see her with him but there was nothing he could do, she was not his; but, he caught the looks she gave him when she though he wasn’t looking.
Now, with nothing left to keep them apart, Daniel thinks his brother may have had her first but he will “ruin her.” However, Tyler and the past does keeping coming between them. Daniel’s obsession may just end it for good.
TOTALLY ENTHRALLING BOOK!! I could not put this book down once I started it. I had to carve out a day with nothing else going on before starting this book because I knew once I started it, I would not put it down and I was correct. I LOVED LOV RD this book. Cannot wait for Merciful!!
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone!!Get it! Don’t wait!!
This book is a must read Willow did it again yet another book hangover.
This story is a roller coaster of emotions and makes you want more. Daniel and Addison’s story have a bit of a heart breaking story. Their story was beautifully written and it pulls you in and you can’t put it down. There have always been feelings from their past for each other only Addison thought that Daniel didn’t think that she was worthy of love. Daniel’s dark past and his way of not showing his true feelings towards Addison makes him seem could when in reality it is opposite of what Addison thinks.
They both have been in love with each other from afar and with out the other knowing their true feelings. Addison thinking he was just her fantasy. Daniel jealous that his kid brother got the girl he has a pull towards. Him being older then them he knows that she is untouchable. Addison has a bit of a rough past she is an orphan and has been in the system from foster family to foster family with secrets nobody knew till she meet Tyler Daniel’s kid brother.
Daniel & Tyler, two brothers family has ties to the mafia. The two brothers couldn’t be more different of each other. They both love the same girl Addison. The two brothers both care for her and Addison finds that she loves them both, one thing is Addison doesn’t love Tyler the way he loves her. Addison breaks things of with him because he deserves some to love him they way he did her. Tragedy hits when Tyler comes after Addison and he is killed. Addison picks up and leaves.
Addison more from place to place and finally decides that she needs to set some roots some where. That’s when she hears a voice she can not forget. It brings up old memories for the both of them. What should be forbidden for the both of them couldn’t be more of what they both need.
I recommend that you read this book it will have you wanting so much more you will have a big book hangover. Willow has knocked this one out of the park.
4 Stalker Stars
Being in love with someone who is off limits is one thing. Being in love with your brother’s girlfriend is another.
Daniel has felt the connection with Addison since the first time his brother brought her home. But the possibility of ever truly loving her stopped the same day it started.
Now 5 years have passed and everything has changed. For Daniel though, he has never forgot. He’s been there ever since that day…that day in which everyone’s life changed.
Addison finally feels like her life is going to be ok. This last move she feels like things are falling into place. Her photography business is doing well and she is going to enroll in college. Stop running…settle down…make roots. It was all a plan… Until that one night at the bar when someone from her past walks in.
A roller-coaster of twists and turns is the best way to describe this story. Quick flowing and before you know it, you have a story of a love that was there from the beginning but suffered some major road blocks.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Willow Winters has done it again! This is such an emotional book that you will not want to put down until the very end. Addison and Daniel have such a strong connection and though they met went Addison started dating Tyler: Daniel’s youngest brother the way Addison and Daniel feel about one another is so intense. They never express their feelings toward one another yet they seem to sense the other feels the same way. Addison is torn because she feels that she needs to remain loyal to Tyler. Daniel would never do anything to hurt his brother or Addison. Eventually Addison can not deny what is in her heart and breaks it off with Tyler and leaves the town they live in after tragedy hits that she somehow feels responsible for. Daniel also feels responsible for what happens. Daniel also feels he needs to make sure Addison is safe. Forward five years and Addison and Daniel meet again. they no longer keep away from one another. Will they reveal what they know is between them? Can they get past what happened years ago and forgive one another and themselves and find a way to heal from it? this was such a roller coaster of emotions and an undeniable love so deeply felt. Addison and Daniel are truly the definition of soulmates! One of Willow’s finest.
Willow Winters is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. This was a beautiful story of pain and wanting. It was such an emotional rollar coaster, I had to put it down a few times and come back to it. So much intensity and feelings that it left me breathless. Absolutely loved Daniel and Addison’s story and can’t wait to read the next. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Gut Wrenching….
This book shook up every emotion in me. Daniel and Addison journey t one that is not forgotten and will stay with you for a while. Daniel meets Addison, and wants her all to himself even though she is with his brother.
Seeing them together and the battles that they have to face head on makes me want to jump to the end to see if they find their happily ever after..
Willow stirs up every emotion inside of you and will leave you shaking….
Darkly intense, enemies to lovers romance.
Possessive by Willow Winters was yet another amazing read by this author that I just couldn’t put down. I love how she pulls me fully me into the world she creates. Each book she’s written has captivated me, but this one was hands down the most overwhelming.
Possessive is heart wrenchingly beautiful story that will haunt me for days.
Addison and Daniel’s story wasn’t the easiest to read, their pasts are full of tragedy and has left them shattered and broken. This was an all out ‘feels’ book. Every piece of fear, love, hurt, triumph and forgiveness was displayed on the pages of my kindle.
Daniel and Addison were sexy as well as damaged but their explosive chemistry was undeniable, making for some super smexy scenes. I adored the tension, the fiery banter they shared along with a hint of the taboo. So when they got together, it was a storm of emotion.
There were plenty of twists to this engaging tale, and even though I was on the edge of my seat reading it, I never wanted to reach that last line. Because that meant this story was over.
Freakin loved it! just the right amount of everything that I love in a book. has a touch of action, suspense, tug of the heart strings that made my eyes a bit watery, and those love scenes! Wowzers
Carter up next!! Definitely wasn’t expecting that hardness in him that was revealed at the very end. Sighhh.. enjoyed reading this a lot
Another Amazing Book!!
If you were curious about Daniel in She Asked for It than you are going to fall in love with him and Addison in this book. Possessive had my head and heart going crazy. I thought Forget Me Not was dark, Possessive was a little darker. I didn’t know which way the story was going to go at one point. Daniel and Addison are two broken souls that fit so well together.
Willow’s knows how to hook you from the beginning and not let you go until the end; then makes you sit and wait impatiently till the next book. I never thought I would love dark romances as much as I love Willow’s book.
This is my first experience with Willow Winters and OMG! What did I just read? She really writes hot alpha males!
Addison has lived a lonely life, she doesn’t want to get close to people because at the end she ends up hurt. After everything that she has been through she runs looking for a place that feels like home.
Daniel has been in love with Addison since the moment he saw her, but she was someone’s else. It hurts to see her with another man. Because deep down he knew she was his.
“She needs me, just like I need her. She’s the only thing that takes the pain away and I do that for her too. I know I do. I can feel it. I can see it in her.”
After years of running Addison finds a place that can call a home, but that’s when she will face her past, and she will wonder if home is a place or a person. But she is too afraid to face reality, so she tries to do what she does best, run away.
Daniel won’t let Addison run away again. He will make her face her past and all her fears and she will need to make a decision: can she run away again from what she really wants or forgive.
“Obsession may be the wrong word. I think Possessive is better. She’s mine. My reason to move on from what happened before. “
Daniel and Addison’s story is so heartbreaking for me but I love how Daniel makes Addison fall in love again and makes her realize he is the only love in her life. He won’t give up easily and Addison has no chances to resist the bad boy who makes her feel at home.
This is a beautiful book. It has turmoil, heartache, passion, romance everything. The past haunts both Addison & Daniel and they both must come to terms with it & admit to their feelings to overcome it. Willow has written an amazing book. The characters draw you in & now to wait for Carter’s story. I highly recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
4.5 Stars
Willow Winters has become one of my automatic must read authors so I dived into Possessive without even reading the synopsis and didn’t put it down once.
Daniel and Addison’s life is full of grief, anger, loss, tragedy and love. Their story is an emotional one. When you fall for someone you know you can’t have it very rarely ends well and Daniel and Addison know this only too well.
Daniel is the tortured bad boy that’s easy to love. He’s the first to admit he’s a bad man but there’s so much more to him than that. Falling for someone that’s completely off limits leaves Daniel torn but trying to do what’s right. He’s always had complicated relationship with Addison and when he unexpectedly bumps into her years later, old possessive tendencies start coming out. Unable to stay away Daniel is taking a big risk by letting himself get closer to Addison.
Addison has spent the last few years running. She’s sweet but some of her past actions are a little selfish. She carries a sadness in her that quickly drew me in. Still carrying a lot of guilt inside her, she can’t nor does she want to stay away from Daniel.
This is an emotional romance that has a great story, good characters that have an intense connection and it kept me hooked from start to finish.
This is more than a story of forbidden love. This is a story of two people who turned to each other knowing it wasn’t safe for them. A love that they couldn’t be sure that would stand the test of time. Daniel because he wasn’t a good man, involved in the “family business” and loved Addison who had been his little brother’s. But Tyler was gone now and still years later he couldn’t stop wanting her. Addison really didn’t want Tyler, she lusted after Daniel and now she can’t turn him away, even though it puts her life in danger.
Willow Winters has written a heartbreaking, somewhat dark book that will keep you enthralled with page. Cannot wait until Carter’s story…
