Out of the 3 books I read in this series so far this was my favorite though honestly I did not like the ending. I know there are more books in this series but this was the end of this couple’s story and it felt like nothing was resolved like I spent 3 books with this couple I felt I was let down with the ending leaving me with more questions then answers. At least we have more books in this series and this might get resolved
A lot of cliffhangers and clues were solved in book three. Talon and Jade are back on track to a HEA. Two new big hints and cliffhangers were thrown into the mix. Man this is a great series. The storyline is complex and fast paced. The characters are well developed and charismatic, even the slimy ones are gripping. I flew through book three and can’t wait to keep reading!
The story does come with a warning as each of the books address kidnapping, violence and sexual assault. The use of a therapist is engaging for the story, but also helpful to show what many people face with different traumas.
And the mystery continues!
We’ve got some really big answers this time, but I still have so many questions. This saga can really hook the readers.
Jade and Talon gave a huge leap in evolving. Since the first book, they grew up considerably and they are more and more willing to deal with their issues.
Their chemistry is still incredibly electrifying and it’s even deeper, for now they’re more open about their feelings, specially Talon. The sexy scenes seem even more touching and intense now that lust isn’t working alone.
I wasn’t a big fan of the main characters in the previous books – of course they had huge issues, but their actions and reactions, their push and pull seemed imature. But as I said, they’ve grown a lot since then and it shows.
Talon’s recovery and his path of healing were beautiful to watch. That totally changed the rythym of the book and set the pace for his relationship with Jade. Even she changed after he started getting help.
I can’t wait to be drowned again into this series.
There’s too much sex and I never thought I’d ever say that about a book! Every time Talon and Jade meet they have long drawn out sex, and very similar to the sex they had in the previous chapter and the one before that and… well you get the picture. Now I can see why this series has eighteen books.
Helen Hardt is a new to me author and whilst I loved this storyline I didn’t find it gripping or exciting as it took too long to get where it was going. If all her series’ have the amount of books as this one has, at the price they are I’d end up bankrupt!
Possession (Steel Brothers Saga, #3) was a great read by Helen Hardt. Jade is deeply in love with Talon and is determined to do whatever she can to help him with his past issues. She continues to investigate the Steels in order to know how she could help Talon. She winds up attraction some dangerous attention with everything she uncovers. Talon decides to expose the raw wounds that he has in order to keep Jade in his life. Jade and Talon are facing some very horrible things and aren’t safe. I have really loved reading Jade and Talon’s story and can’t wait to read more by Helen Hardt.
Talon’s struggles continue and even as he tries to make headway things seem to be constantly popping up. And then there’s Jade…she’s got a heart of gold.
Helen Hardt has twists and turns that leave you gasping! And boy does she bring the heat!
Just so happy that Talon finally told Jade what happened to him when he was a child.. I know that Jade’s moms boyfriend had something to do with what happened to Talon, and her boss Larry Wade too… But I didn’t know that the mayor was about of now that was totally shock… Can’t wait to see what goes on in the next book
Healing
Talon is doing is therapy and is seems to be helping him heal and understand everything and to be able to tell his his family.buy the most important person is telling Jade. But Jade is dealing with a few questions herself. Can’t wait to read the next one.
This book shines a little more light on Talons past and the persons responsible
and has a few more new secrets. It is written beautifully the scenes are great can picture it all. It is easy to read and surely it is a page turner. I love this series however I have to watch my budget.
This whole series is captivating
Couldn’t put it down
got me hooked right from the beginning and I just keep reading the series.
Possesion is the beginning of Jonah and Melanie’s love story… To those who have read it, I don’t know about you but I started out a Talon fan but now I’m Obsessed with Jonah as well lol. Ugh the steel brothers are definitely toe curling and yummy. There is so much entertainment In these books and they keep getting juicier…
Jade and Talon’s ongoing journey to find peace and happiness in the face of ghosts and mystery continues. Loving Talon Steel is an inevitability for Jade at this point. Nothing she could possibly discover or he could say would turn her away from him. She knows he needs her patience and is willing to give him the time he needs if he makes some concessions. Talon has come to grips with some of his darker demons and he is not going to let them control him any longer. Making Jade his and protecting her is paramount, so he knows he needs to confront his ghosts to move forward with her. With his past intersecting with present things are coming to light. Talon will have to face his demons in his mind and in the real life – needing his blue eyed Angel to bring him peace.
Well, I need to talk about author, Helen Hardt. She has just blown my mind! I received “Craving” for free and it was fantastic, so I bought the remaining 8 books in the Steele Brothers Series. Then, I bought all 9 audiobooks because I love to listen to the voices. The narrators were perfect! The storyline was amazing; not what I was expecting at all. I love how a male narrator and female narrator took turns, back and forth. Each book tells part of the overall story, and it will keep you reading/listening till the end. No laggy parts. I highly recommend this brilliant series!
Finally, answers to questions! Talon’s therapy coupled with Jade’s investigation is finally allowing him to heal and become whole again. It’s not an easy road to follow and it certainly does not have an end point. With the help of his therapist, Talon is being able to put things in perspective and deal with the now as well as the past. Once he reveals his truth to Jade she’s devastated but only for what his ten-year-old self had to endure. But she also recognizes that enduring has made him the man he is today. Someone she loves deeply, passionately and everlasting.
Okay, so this is Talon’s last book for the series. If you haven’t fallen in love with him already, you will DEFINITELY be in love with him by the end of this book.
Talon Steel is finally seeking the help that he needs. Will it be enough to finally commit to Jade?
Jade is finding answers to some lingering questions regarding the Steel family and the events that happened 25 years ago. Will she find the information that the children want/need?
These two have quickly become one of my absolute favorite book couples … EVER. They are raw and real and their stories are far from perfect but they love each other and they go through hell to make it work.
While the sex scenes are certainly hotter than hot, this book has SO much more to offer. I think that’s why I have fallen so hard for this series. It’s more than just a love story. It’s so much more.
In what I’m learning is true Helen Hardt fashion … the ending will for sure leave you with your jaw on the floor. While a lot of questions are answered in Possession she leaves so much more still open ended.
Stay tuned for more on the Steel Brothers… let’s get to know Jonah!
The conclusion of talon and jade wow. It’s hot, and it’s mind blowing. You don’t want it to end.
Happy Happy and suspended on your seat as you’re reading… Did it again Helen!! Loved it!
I really don’t know how I felt about this book. When I went into it I thought that it was going to be the final book for Talon and Jade but the way this book ended we are still on the Talon train even though the next book will Jonah’s story.
Honestly, I feel like they have really dragged out Talon’s story over these three books. So I’m a little disappointed that it’s STILL not finished.
We finally see Talon get on the path to start to heal and bare everything to Jade.
What I didn’t like: I get that Talon was going through things and trying to work out everything in his life, but it irritated me that he would get mad at Jade when she didn’t tell him about Larry and Nico. She didn’t think those things were important because she didn’t know. He asked her to be patient with him but he was unruly at times.
I also didn’t like how Jade would act sometimes. She was strong and I loved the way she didn’t back down when Talon would try to forbid her to do things. However, it irritated me when she would get all happy because of the little things he did. See quote below.
“I didn’t know what was bothering Talon, but the fact that he said he was sorry that he woke me meant the world to me”
Like Seriously?! She praised him for something that he should’ve been doing in the first place.
Irritation aside, It was okay of a read and the chemistry with Jade and Talon was hot.
Moving on to another Steel brother in the next book. All I can hope is that he’s better than Talon.
