This book knocked my socks off!

Grim and Tricks are back in the gritty, shocking, sensual continuation of the Perversion Trilogy.

When two rival gangs turn up the heat, Tricks (Emma Jean) is caught in the middle and becomes a captive of the Los Meurtos. Their leader, Marco, learns she is a spy and decides to teach her and the Bedlam gang a lesson. But, he’s not working alone.

I won’t give it away, but there’s a surprise twist here I did not see coming!

Grim is going crazy with worry about his girl, Tricks, and his new responsibilities as leader of the Bedlam. When a load of heroin and a murdered body from the Irish mob shows up on his doorstep, he realizes theres an intricate plan afoot to destroy all that he loves.

Then he learns of Tricks’s capture and subsequent torture and the war is on!

Make no mistake, this book is raw, unfiltered, pain. But, it’s also promise, hope, and love.

I want to give it 5 lovely kisses, but there are some serious editing issues that pulled it down to a 4 for me. Still, a must-read!

We are back in the supper gritty and violent gang-run town of Lacking, FL and I couldn’t be more excited to be there. After doing a re-read of Perversion via Audible, I jumped right into Possession. I’m really glad I did the reread because Possession just gets right on with the story and doesn’t stop the action to recap the first book. It’s a pretty short read, I sat down to read it, and the only breaks I took were to say “holy sh*t!” a few times, and then get some popcorn for the last 15% so I’d stop biting my nails.
“This thing between us. That’s the real magic. And it’s no f*cking trick.”

Tricks and Grim are on opposite ends of a deadly gang war and things are going to get worse before they can get better. IF they can get better. WE know what happened at the end of Perversion, but Grim doesn’t yet. It’s amazing how TM Frazier can write some of the most twisted and horribly violent stuff, and I eat it up like candy.
“If we can’t stop it, we might as well toast to it … To war. To peace. To prosperity. To death. To life.”

Despite the violent and gritty gang war, this is mostly a story of star-crossed lovers.

“Tricks is all innocence and attitude. Both fearless and terrified. Rebellion with a side of caution. I’m not worthy of her. Of this dangerous life-altering thing between us. Never will be. It doesn’t matter. Worthy or not, I’m f*cking taking her. Consequences be damned. Tricks is mine. She always has been.
Always will be.”

But Marco has Tricks now. And he has help. Can Grim get her back before Marco breaks her? Or even worse, kills her?

OMG, the angst! The violence! The surprises! Possession had me glued to my kindle, and right now I kind of hate TM Frazier a little because I don’t know how the he!! she is going to give the couple the HEA they need! The HEA I need!

Likes:

•Addictive and unputdownable.
•Full of surprises.
•TM Frazier is never afraid to go anywhere in her books and never holds back on violence.
•The amazing cameos.
•So fast paced I didn’t want to stop reading to pee!
•Completely unpredictable.
•Left me doubting how this can end but I am trusting TM Frazier.

Dislikes:

•Seemed awfully short, took me about 3 hours with interruptions. I would have rather waited and had a duet, but this makes good business sense for her, and mostly I am just dying for more.

The Down & Dirty:
Once again, TM Frazier had me glued to my kindle breathlessly following every surprising, gritty, deadly, violent and sexy twist and turn. She had me gleefully wishing horrible violent deaths, swooning over the romance, crying over the family love, and freaking out over what comes next. I love how her world is fake enough for us to put aside reality and go with it, yet real enough to feel like you are right there with them. The bonus cameos brought some fun and lightness into the non-stop violent action. I am already counting the days until Permission! I need it NOW! Honestly, I am really glad I didn’t wait to binge, because the anticipation is just making it even better. Thank goodness it’s a short wait!

Possession had me on the edge of my seat and I’m still waiting for my heart rate to slow down!

Grim’s love for Tricks has me feeling touched. I didn’t think there’d be time for my emotions to get involved with this dark read. This man, who never used to speak, says words that make me smile oh so sweetly.

“I need you, baby. You’re my other half. I’m nothing without you. I’m yours.” – Grim

I think the hood of Bedlam is aptly named. There is never a dull moment and neither Grim nor Tricks can catch a second of peace. And when they finally find a lull in the pandemonium that surrounds them, some other catastrophy occurs. Poor kids never get a break. However, together I think they really could conquer it all.

She makes me want to believe in things. In life. In humanity. In us. – Grim

This installment of the Perversion trilogy picks up right where the last one left off – Tricks is back in Marco’s clutches and for a while, Grim has no idea of the trouble his girl is in. But when he figures it out, all hell breaks loose and it was glorious!

They can’t keep me from Tricks. No one can. Not anymore. We’re magnets always being pulled together. – Grim

I absolutely adore these kids. They’ve survived so much, are still having to survive so much, and yet they never give up the fight. While Grim is more of a soldier, willing to lay down his life to protect what’s his, to lift up arms to battle against his enemies, and to literally fight to the death for his cause, Tricks is a bit more wily. I love how truly slick she is. I admire how cool she remains under pressure, using her wits and her guile to get what she wants. The author created two quite unique characters that both overwhelmed and humbled me.

I don’t know how to adequately explain to you how much I’m looking forward to the conclusion to this story. I got a little glimpse and I have to admit that I’m a little scared. That bit made me know that I need to expect the unexpected, which I’ve come to expect from this author. I’m just hoping for a bit of happy. I think these two finally deserve it.

I feel like the special treat in this book was the appearance of a couple of characters that I’ve loved for years. Getting to see them, and having others mentioned in passing, made me feel like this story was a part of the continuum. It all links together somehow and I couldn’t be happier. Knowing that Grim has such an amazing support system, especially during this time of impending war, gives me more hope for an amazing ending to this series. Not that I’m really worried… it’s T.M. Frazier!

This one kinda gave answers and left me hanging at the same time – I want the end of the story already, I need to KNOW what happens!

This is not an easy story to read, but you know that going in and the Author does a great job of making just dark enough that you appreciate the light, the love and the loyalty.

I’m on to the Permission…

Whoa! I feel like I’ve been slapped around, stripped and doused with a hose, and pushed into a wide open space to air dry. I’m just sitting her blinking. What a wild ride. Tricks really can find herself in some precarious situations that have my heart racing. If you thought the first book was dark and crazy with the dire need to just escape all of the bad…well…this story continues that theme with even more threats, more danger and some help from friends and family. And I loved every single nail biting minute of it.

I devour T.M. Frazier’s books like I have an addiction. The characters are so dark and gritty they just grab me and hold me down. And seriously. I’m kinda into it.

What a follow on from the first book i had to dive straight in i couldn’t not go into.

This book felt a little bit darker and a few more triggers but i loved it all, from finding out some more secrets and just getting that storyline all the more exciting, it was also at times you would think yep this is when everything will turn out good and bam the crap hits and we have another twist or stuff up and it makes it all exciting.

Again i don’t want to give anything away because everyone needs to read this book and this series , when gangs are going at eachother and trying to take over there is so much action and i wouldn’t want anything different.

I do have to say though poor Mr Fuzzy he was the one that started this story and he didn’t deserve what happened.

Can’t wait to get into the 3rd book and see how this awesome series ends

I anticipated this series for what seemed like forever! I waited until all 3 came out so start so that I wasn’t left hanging, but they were just an okay read for me. Don’t get me wrong, the books are good, I was just anticipating them to be amazing and to me they were a letdown.

Good grief!! Emma Jean and Grim just can’t catch a break!!! This couple is so deeply in love yet they keep getting ripped apart. If it’s not one thing, it’s another and Marco is like a disease that keeps spreading! So many twists and turns and that ending about gave me a heart attack! I would love to see Marco’s and Mona’s heads roll!

This book was really intense and heart pounding with lots of action. I’m really looking forward to book 3!

Well, this wasn’t bad, exactly. I was engaged and wanted to know what was going to happen next.

However, I am not really happy with this one. This is priced as a full book and it definitely was not. I’m okay with installments of books because the whole story is so long it is necessary. This series was NOT that long.

Secondly, the romance isn’t as developed as I would like. They’ve spent so much time apart, years, and have only had a couple days together… in between the kidnapping, of course.

The plot is a mess, too. I like my romance dark, but she gets raped by Marco, then escapes, then kidnapped again, then gangraped by three guys? It has passed out of believability long ago.

Then there is Mr. Fuzzy! WTF!

I’m pretty disappointed with this one.

I started this series a while back and am FINALLY getting back to it. This is one of those series you cannot put down. I absolutely love the way this author wrote these books. I am so pulled into this series I don’t want it to end.

The characters are all pretty darn amazing, even the bad ones. There is just so much to the book.. This one had me on the edge of my seat reading at parts. The end of this book had me wanting to scream, although book 3 is sitting on my kindle waiting for me to hop in and enjoy the words within. I am scared to read it cause I don’t want it to end.. Def a good dark read.
