He calls me untouchable…and all he wants to do is touch me.
When the Hakdivi trade me to the Drohlu, a big barbarian warrior called Thion comes to escort me to his clan.I need a mate, being a human in a strange alien world, but no one in the last clan would take me–apparently they’re afraid of me because I have a way with animals.
I don’t imagine the huge, sexy Thion will be afraid of … imagine the huge, sexy Thion will be afraid of anything.
And I’m right…
sort of.
He’s not afraid of me, but when I help a wild, dangerous animal without getting ripped to shreds, he believes what I did was so foolish that I can’t possibly be in possession of all my faculties.
He deems me “untouchable.”
At the same time, his growing desire to touch me is driving him crazy.
I know one thing for sure.
He’s the mate for me.
I’m not some untouchable innocent in need of protection.
I’m a passionate woman in need of possession.
Can I make him see the real me?

this was a new author for me and i really enjoyed the story and look forward to reading more from them
A cool story with quirky characters, I read it out of order and I still loved it! This book kind of explores the idea of what happens to some human girls AFTER the alien abduction and possession thing. This book focused on Kristin, who has a Dr. Doolittle kind of power with animals, but the aliens think she’s bad juju, so they trade her for a different human girl. The females all knew each other, like a family unit, but they’re dysfunctional. Anyway, lol, after they trade females, the stuff gets real. There are some crazy hot love scenes and some gory battles, because, dude, I won’t ruin the story for you, but the twist will mess you up. I know that’s what it did for me, I totally did not expect it. I thought I’d read a piece of this book and then fall asleep to read some more tomorrow, but I ended up staying up way too late to finish it. I just couldn’t put it down! I’m really interested to read Liz’s story next, maybe I’ll find the books that came before this one, I don’t know, but I know I have to read more of the people in this world!
This is a great SciFi romance. The characters are well written and developed with plenty of twists and turns to give the storyline a great push in the right direction.

This book is entertaining, the interaction and chemistry between the characters is great. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
The second book in the Warrior Clans of Maekon series a well written story with a very good storyline. I enjoyed seeing Kristen and Thion’s story come together. I hope there is going to be more in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Loved the storyline. Really different and enjoyable. It seems that Kristen can talk to the animals, listens to them and understand the. The Hakdivi are suspicious of her and they trade her to the Drohlu. She’s really happy that they traded her because the Hakdivi look like animals with their horns and tails. She goes with Thion and he takes her to his clan. Since they all are afraid of her she’s having a hard time getting a mate. When she helps a wild, dangerous animal that doesn’t kill her now Thion thinks that she’s crazy. I love how she finally gets Thion to touch her and become her mate. Fantastic story. Kristen talks to animals, protects them, and has a sort of understanding of them that frightens the superstitious Hakdivi. They glare at her and are suspicious of anyone with her “skill”. So they trade Kristen to the Drohlu, which she is happy about because the Hakdivi look too much like animals with their horns and tails, and mating with them would be, in her words “icky”. Kristen’s mother urges her to pick one of the Hakdivi so they will protect her. But she just can’t do it. Maybe she will have more luck with the Drohlu. Her cousin is with the Drohlu, so she at least won’t be alone.
Thion comes to make the trade and take Kristen to his clan. She hasn’t been able to get a mate because they are all afraid of her and she is hoping this huge warrior will not fear like the others did. However, she comes to the aid of a wild, dangerous animal which doesn’t tear her apart as expected, so now Thion thinks she is probably a bit crazy? But this time, Kristen has chosen HIM as her mate and he can’t seem to stop himself from touching her.
This is kind of a depressing book but others might like it. It just didn’t hold my interest very well, and I didn’t really care about any of the characters. The relationship between Kristen and her mother I thought was cold, with her mother telling the Hakdivi leader that her daughter was “slow” mentally. And the way the groups of guys traded off the women like it meant nothing. When I can’t get invested in either the story line or the characters, there just nothing to pull me into the book.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. The book is about humans being taking from Earth and being taken to a planet where there is Aliens called Hakdivi and Drohlu. Kristen does not fit in with the Hakdivi because she talks to the animals and she does not want to have anything to do with them only her mother. They trading her for Liv because the Drobhlu does not like Liv because of her red hair. Now would be the time to get the book. I will be getting more from this author
The story line was good, the character work was great and the book had a fairly smooth flow to it. This was a great addition to the series and entertained from beginning to end.
