The Hashtag series is the winner of Best Contemporary Series of 2015 (UtopYAcon 2015) Book Five in the Hashtag Series! Posers gonna pose I am a man who had nothing, but found everything.I’ll never go back to nothing ever again.I vowed to protect her, and that’s exactly what I’m gonna do.The pictures I stumbled upon haunt me still, the secret I shoulder is heavy. They say secrets put distance … exactly what I’m gonna do.
The pictures I stumbled upon haunt me still, the secret I shoulder is heavy.
They say secrets put distance between two people, but the truth is far more destructive than keeping it will ever be.
I won’t ever tell. She can’t ever know.
When I look in the mirror my reflection is of who I’m afraid I’ll become and not the man I am.
It makes me feel like a poser, no better than all the others pretending to be exactly who they aren’t.
How does a man keep it together when everything is unraveling right here in his hands?
I didn’t start any of this.
I never asked for it.
But it came knocking at my door.
When secrets and threats knock, I don’t hide.
I open the door.
Because the best way to take down a poser is to be one.more
No cliff hangers or loose ends – This ties the series together nicely, which is such a relief. As the other books, the writing is fantastic, although much darker and scarier. Thankfully this is tampered by the over arcing flooding love which has been ever present throughout, and depicted so beautifully. Highly recommend this series.
I liked this book as a completion of Braeden and Ivy’s story. There’s some triggers in this book for people but I think it was handled beautifully enough. typically I cringe during some of these subjects in books, but I didn’t in Cambria’s Poser. That to me speaks volumes This is the book you get all the answers you’ve been waiting for from books 1-4. I’m going to miss being at Alpha U, but I had the time of my life while I was there.
I have really enjoyed the entire series!! Great reads, quick and unique to each relationship and situation. Frequently, I see a writing trend in an author and every relationship follows it somehow — but that is NOT the case!! The author did an amazing job applying every character and their personalities to the relationship(s).
I listened in the Audible unlimited package 🙂

This is a reread for me. Back in the day I only rated books but now review them. So here goes…
Emotional heart wrenching rollercoaster filled with action and drama.
Ivy goes through way too much and still comes back fighting strong. I love her for that. Braeden really needs to not keep secrets. That irritated me throughout the book. He had good intentions but Ivy really needed to know what happened. However it all works out in the end and the karma train came by.
Loved Ivy & Braeden and can’t wait to get more of them and Rimmel & Romeo in the other books in the series.
Another Braeden & Ivy book? Yes Please!
I love these two just as much as I love Romeo & Rimmel.
In this book we find out that Zach is back and things do not look to be getting any better where he is concerned. Just more trouble.
All the while Braeden has a secret that could hurt his relationship with Ivy, and Ivy is struggling with what is real in her life and what isn’t.
This book is emotional with a lot of angst, but its oh so good.
I’ve seen many reviews where people are saying they skimmed through a lot of this book and that the series is too long.
Oh no.
It is perfect. Probably my top favorite series to date. Even though this book adn the previous one were focused on Braeden and Ivy, you still get great glimpses of Romeo & Rimmel, and Drew & Trent meet (swoon).
Braeden is determined to make things right, but most of all, make sure that Ivy is safe, loved, and his.
Another 5 star story from one of my favorite series by one of my favorite authors. I love Braedon so much. But he’s got a lot going on in this one, and I think he makes a mistake when he doesn’t tell Ivy what he found out about her night with Zach. However I also was very mad that Ivy didn’t tell anyone about the little weird things that had been happening to her. There were a lot of things that happened that really just added to the drama, but so much of this story made me laugh or cry that I was won over. We got a few chapters from Zach’s point of view, which okay, but I didn’t like having so many of them in a row, and skipping over so much time for the rest of the characters. There was one quote I really liked, “Little secrets become big lies.” That is so true. It was good to meet Ivy’s brother, although how he treated Braeden ticked me off. And while I see some people unhappy with how Braeden dealt with Zach in the final scene, I actually was okay with it. Sometimes, those types of people, they just aren’t going to stop, and when they almost get other people killed, well, that’s how I feel about that. Oh yeah, and someone needs to take Missy down, I have no good feelings about her.
This story focuses on Ivy’s trauma and Zach’s delusions! It all ends with a bang, literally.
Braeden is his usual protective self and dealing with his dying father. We meet Drew, Ivy’s brother, who comes to visit on the premise of missing his sister but also to escape the pressures of home. Romeo and Rim continue to enchant us from the sidelines as we discover their friends in this book.
Nail biting pull out my hair and OMG kind of book. I couldn’t put it down I needed so many answers from this book.
The only thing I really wanted was to see Missy get hers…. hopefully in the next book.
The second part of Ivy and Braedens story was just as eye catching as the first. Not lacking in drama or suspense. That and their fierce love! It cause me to hate Missy and Zach even more and cheer for everyone else!
This story is gonna tear your heart out. So many difficult topics, pain from finding out the truth and the learning to move forward.
Braeden’s a good guy. But he made a difficult choice. Keeping the truth from Ivy, in order to protect her, ate away at both of them.
They say the truth will set you free…and although it was difficult, it was necessary. Once you know, you can face it head on and begin to heal.
I absolutely love this series and all these characters. Their pain became my pain. I had to take a few breaks, because the emotions were real. The pain was palpable and heart breaking. However, the love was stronger than the pain. This has become an all time favorite series that I have read.
I loved it “Times Two!” I just love this whole series. Hard. Every time I look at this cover, it makes me smile. It’s totes Ivy! Even though this book was a little bit heavier then the others, it was still entertaining. I want to be one of their friends! I want Ivy to dress me, sit and chill with Rimmel. Even though I’m not a sportsball fan, I wouldn’t mind watching Romeo and Braden play football. I’m really excited that there will be another book in the series, can’t wait to find out who it will be. But seriously, this is a fantastic series and I can’t recommend it enough!
Oh my goodness, this series. Each book just gets better and more amazing than the last. As soon as I think Cambria has written something that nothing else will ever compare to, she goes and writes something even better. I honestly don’t know how she does it. This woman is a book writing beast and a damn good one.
From the very beginning I was always extremely interested in Braeden and Ivy. I knew that their characters would end up together and I had really hoped I would get more of peek into their lives. I was ecstatic when I learned that #Selfie was from their point of views and it honestly became my favorite book in the series.
#Poser took its place though. In an instant. Seeing two characters that you really love finally finding themselves in one another is amazing and is definitely one of the best parts of a story but experiencing life with them after the initial honeymoon period ends is when their story really begins. In #Poser we learn so much about these characters. Through their struggles we get to see who they are as individuals better than we ever have. Things get hard and life gets tough and that’s when someone’s strengths and weaknesses are revealed.
There are definitely some moments in this book that brought tears to my eyes. The pain that Ivy goes through is unbearable but she emerges so strong and finds herself finally free from everything she’s been feeling and wondering about herself. I know Rimmel started it all but I have no shame in admitting that Ivy is and has always been my favorite. She’s such a strong female even when she thinks she’s broken.
And poor Braeden. The secret that he had to hold on to for so long was one of the hardest things he has ever had to deal with. And he’s dealt with some pretty heavy shit. But he remains strong for his girl. That says a lot about who he is as a character and how much he wants to keep her safe.
Speaking of characters, we also get a peak inside the mind of one of the not-so-well-liked characters. I know that Cambria was nervous about how her readers were going to respond to her including Zach’s point of view but I’m glad that she did. It totally worked for the story and gave us a glimpse of his motivation for his actions all the way back to book one.
This book is so good. Guys, if you haven’t picked up the Hashtag Series yet, please do so. You won’t regret it.
I wish #Heart was already available because I would definitely jump straight into it.
SO I really don’t know why but I cannot stand this cover. It really annoys the shit out of me. Maybe it’s the stereotype or maybe it looks like Barbie threw up on the cover, I don’t know. All I do know is that I want to punch cover it up.
Anydick on to the review. I knew this book was going to be drama, drama, drama, when 1.I read Zach was back, 2. and blurb really hinted a ton of drama.
I think I’ve decided that I am not an Ivy fan. It was easy to fall in love with Rimmel but with Ivy she just doesn’t grab my attention. She just wasn’t a favorite. I am however a Braeden fan. He won my heart.
Most of this book could do without somethings. Like the whole Ivy styling people. Who cares. Ivy always looking at people’s clothes and describing how stylish it was. I really didn’t like that. Now we did get Zach’s P.O.V. for about three or four chapters. Yeah him and Missy can go suck eggs. I almost started to feel for Zach when he opened up about his mother, but it doesn’t justify what he did and he’s an asshat.
This one was not my favorite or anywhere near it but it wasn’t a complete and total waste. Which I like to consider good.
