This volume contains the first three complete cozy mysteries in London Lovett’s Port Danby Cozy Mystery series. Join Lacey ‘Pink’ Pinkerton and the cast of colorful, lovable Port Danby characters—including the endearing and handsome Detective James Briggs—for three intriguing murder mysteries.Marigolds and Murder (Book 1)Lacey ‘Pink’ Pinkerton has left behind a six figure job and her reputation … Pinkerton has left behind a six figure job and her reputation as the million dollar nose—a nickname her super sense of smell earned her within the perfume industry. With her pet crow Kingston and a tabby cat named Nevermore, she is settling right into her new life in the small coastal town of Port Danby. With a flower shop opening soon and a full cast of quirky neighbors and friends, her new digs are exactly what she’s been looking for. Away from the hectic hustle and bustle of the city Lacey has found peace and happiness. However, her heightened sense of smell proves to be of use once again when a Port Danby neighbor turns up dead. Lacey finds herself caught up in an unexpected murder investigation alongside the handsome local detective, James Briggs. She’s determined to find the killer and solve the murder mystery before any more bodies turn up.
Lacey ‘Pink’ Pinkerton, the local flower shop owner, is thrilled to supply colorful flower arrangements for the Third Annual Food Fair being held in the Port Danby town square. But when one of the well-known but not so well-loved bloggers is found dead in her motel room, Lacey steps in to help Detective James Briggs solve the case. (Whether he likes it or not.)
Port Danby is preparing for the annual Harbor Holiday Lights Flotilla, and Lacey ‘Pink’ Pinkerton is anxious to see the colorful boats light up Pickford Beach. But the festive spirits of the town are dampened when one of the boat owners is strangled to death. Lacey enthusiastically volunteers to help Detective Briggs sniff out the clues and track down the killer. Once again, she finds herself nose deep in a murder mystery.

The only issue I have with this book is that it’s sometimes overly descriptive. There really are a lot of scenes that could be shortened by cutting down on details of the surroundings.
This is a fabulous series!!!!
Very cozy mystery. Simple. Not complicated. With such a stressful world I find myself in, a easy reading novel is so peaceful.
Great start to a fantastic series.
Finally a heroine that I can get behind 100%. She’s smart, charming, witty, works with the police (rather than against them), and she doesn’t put herself in peril constantly. I also love that the main characters actually solve mysteries/crimes by piecing clues together–rather than by accident. I HIGHLY recommend this series.
FYI: You will not find a crude or offensive word, neither a salacious scene in this series. I wish all cozy mysteries were as clever and clean as this one.
A quick, easy read to help unwind while entertaining my sense of mystery.
Fun read for summer
Great recipes
This is a fun series, not heavy reading, perfect for when I want to read a little before bed or when I first get up. Some fun characters. But why is it all these small towns are overflowing with murders!? It’s a wonder anyone would want to move to a small tourist town!
It was fun and I like Pink!
Characters are so fun. Not complicated but sometimes a girl just needs something fun to read. Have enjoyed this series so much this summer.
These were wonderful summer reading. The kind you just sit back and enjoy.
I really enjoyed the characters and the small town atmosphere
I like this and all in the series about Port Danby, looking forward to future entries.
Great read, with a very unusual premise. A new and unique approach to detection.
Just a fun series to read. Easy reading with a predictable ending.
I have really enjoyed getting to know Lacey, Lola, Detective Briggs and the rest of the gang from
Port Danby. These stories are very good cozy mysteries.
This would be a good Hallmark Mystery Movie series.
I read all three books. Enjoyed them thoroughly.
Couldn’t put this trilogy down until I finished it!
