Deadbeat socialite.Dried up divorcee.A weekend that changes everything.VanessaThis was supposed to be a vacation to rekindle my failing relationship with my husband. We decided to start a family. Instead, I was here all alone while he was busy playing house with his secretary setting up what should have been our baby’s nursery. Chivalry was dead along with my libido. So much for fidelity and … much for fidelity and knights in shining armor.
Will
I was exiled to the family resort after my last crash and burn. I guess things could be worse managing the island hotel. I was supposed to keep my hands off the guests, but then she showed up frowning with sad brown eyes. It was that moment I took my new role as hospitality director with utmost seriousness.
This is the third book in the Filthy Friends Series. They can be read as standalone books.

Oh, pool boy.
William McIntyre is 27, a man boy, spoiled and way more frat boy than man.
He’s sent to the family’s resort to man up and stop messing up. He wrecked his Lamborghini.
Vanessa Robinson. Yep, Mrs. Robinson is newly divorced. A messy break up that left her with no baby. She decides to jump back on the horse with the pool boy. Who’s 7 years younger.
Can it last?
Short and flirty fun in the sun.

A new author to me and a very short read – 50 pages. This is a pet peeve for me. I believe these stories should be titled to let a reader know. I didn’t realize u til the story was almost over and I thought I had pages missing. This story is about Will and Vanessa. It is quick and over before you know it and I didn’t care for that. Both of these people have to have an instant connection. The whole romance takes place on a tropical island that Will’s parents happen to own a resort. Will is sent there for penance from some stuff that has happened in NYC.

The characters in this book are wonderful. There’s Will, the rich playboy who has his share of woes, and Vanessa, the betrayed woman who fears her dreams won’t become reality. Together they have chemistry that is bursting at the seams. This quick and easy read focuses on what brought each to the tropical island and their first day together. The epilogue just makes it all sweeter.
This is a very uncomplicated straight forward short story! Vanessa is a few years older than Will, they meet and the story goes fast and easy from there! I do enjoy these uncomplicated short stories every noe and then!

Poor Vanessa is on a trip that was supposed to be her and her husband where they were supposed to try for a family and now she is on it alone since he was a cheating bastard and got someone else pregnant. She is on a soul searching time and wants no man, which you can not blame her. Here comes William who has been sent to hide from the aftermath of his accident and parents sent to hide out. He sees Vanessa and decides he wants her but she wants no one, but will it stay that way? Hell no..

Pool Boy is about Vanessa and the “pool boy” William. Vanessa is bouncing back from her divorce when she meets William. At first she isn’t totally impressed, but man when they finally get together, the chemistry is off the charts!
great quick read.

This was short and sweet. Definitely a case of Insta love with a bit of steam. The book was entertaining enough but wasn’t anything special.

Vanessa is dealing with the aftermath of her divorce when she decides a little sun and pampering are on order. On a trip that was supposed to help her reconnect with her husband in hopes to start a family has become a soul searching trip in order for her to start over. William has been sent to the resort by his parents to let the dust settle on his latest headlines. He sees Vanessa and is immediately infatuated with the gorgeous woman. Vanessa however is not as enamoured at first. When these two finally get together the heat is combustible. These two were fabulous together and it was great to see Vanessa get the love she definitely deserved. Great book and fabulous writing!

William has got into trouble by totaling his Lamborghini on an icy road while taking his dae home. His parents told him he was going to go to the resort they owned until things cooled off. They said that they did not want to hear of any trouble by him. Vanessa was at the resort as pat of her divorce and she thought she was over men. Vanessa and her ex was going to try and have a baby until he got his mistress pregnent. Now Vanessa don’t think she is good enough for anything. William is trying to get to her but she won’t have anything to do with him.
Will Vanessa give William a chance or will she go back to her home town alone?
Can william get Vanessa to change her mind and give him a chance to prove not all men are the same?
This is a short red but worth it in the end. you will need to read it to find out what happens between Vanessa and William.

This was a good quick read and I really liked it. I thought the characters were hot together and if you enjoy a good interesting older woman/younger man romance then give this a go I liked it you may too.
Oh boy. What is Vanessa going to do when she meets a younger man? It was interesting how the author portrayed a jaded woman and William, a playboy. Actually Will is like on time-out for his behavior. So you wonder how they’ll ever connect but stranger things have happened and opposites attract. Fun and short read!

Nice story written from two people perspective: Vanessa, a woman through a sad divorce (her hubby preferred his secretary to her…), a brilliant woman, with clear ideas of what she wants, she needs and how she redirects her life…; and William (Will), THE pool boy, an interesting guy, just in the moment of passing from the crazy youthfulness, to a mature stud, with clear ideas of which his life-path is.
How these two characters get together and interact is well detailed, explaining feelings, thoughts and desires in a not too long story.
Nice touch the “Mrs. Robinson” 😉
Well done, Rachel!
