Flora Ferrari is a wonderful writer. She has created another story that depicts a love that most see as taboo, with an age difference of twenty years Sadie and James defy the odds and her parent to build a strong and loving relationship. They don’t care what others think of them and are determined to be together to create a loving home for Smooch and Max. So if you have a bit of time available please read this you won’t regret it.

Loved this story!! James brings his son, Smooch, to Sadie’s house to get a puppy. They choose Max and at the same time Sade chooses to persue a relationship with James and James realizes he wants Sadie. Now to make that happen…..
This was a great short read. Sweet and romantic to hot and steamy with even a little role playing. It also had really good character building with an awesome ending.

Oh my gosh I loved this story.
A single “brokenhearted” dad James lost his first wife in the line of duty left to raise his son Simon “Smooch” on his own he barricaded them behind a 10 foot high wall and security. Sadie brokenhearted for a different reason was full of love and optimism.
Having Max the puppy was hard since he was a terror. But James comes knocking for the puppy and gets a whole lot more.
The connection is real but Sadies dad thinks James is unstable and dangerous because he listened to the people around town spreading rumors. So he interferes with the relationship even though she is 22 but she lives in his house so you know.
James knows their right for each other he just needs to find a way to be together. While thinking of a way for that, back at Saidies house her parents are tied up and being held by gun point. James to the rescue, he has been riding a desk since his wifes passing but hearing Sadies address he goes on the call. That puts him in good with her dad. There is a lot to this story. The dog park, the meaning of sitting under a tree, romance, love like no other, passion and family.
Read how one puppy brought a family together.

James lost his wife a year ago and has been living in isolation with his young son. An add for a puppy brings him to his neighbors home and to Sadie.
Sadie has a degree in journalism and dreams of traveling the world. A tight job market has her living with her parents.
James always liked Sadie when she was a kid, like has taken a new meaning. Sadie always liked James when she was younger. He never treated her like a kid. Now she wants him to see her as an adult.
Loved James and Sadie. A fun fast paced and steamy love story. Loved Smoochy and Max. The epilogue is a sweet slice of life.
This was an older man, single father, who was a police officer (James), his son was (Max) and his next door neighbor who they adopted a puppy from Sadie, who have known each other since Sadie was a little girl being that they were neighbors.
This was a good book. You cannot go wrong with a man in uniform!
