Too many characters and jumped around too much
Interesting characters with a plot centered on the controversial practice of fracking.
Actually taught me something about Alaska and Canada while keeping me involved in page turner mystery.
Very good read.
Interesting story line. I really liked the lead female detective. Had a little twist at the end. I’d read another of these books to see what she’s up to!
Good story line, good charactors
please read this book.
Looking for more stories featuring strong women!
I’m prejudiced right off because it takes place in Canada, and the author has either been there or has done a lot ot accurate research. The story line compels you to get to the next page. I found it entertaining.
I really enjoyed this book. There were a few different stories going on but all related to the main plot with many different players bringing this story to an end. That said, it is not too complicated, just keeps you thinking. I will definitely be reading more.
I picked this up as a Book Bub special and really liked the book. It is set in an area about which those of us in the eastern part of the USA hear very little. VERY interesting plot, if somewhat fanciful. Great female lead. There are no lulls in the story. It is very fast paced. This is the first of a trilogy and I’m going to read the set.
Reminds me of something Preston and Child would create with their Pendergast series. Well written with great characterization and unexpected developments at every turn. Great for fans of police drama with a bit of speculative spice.
I will read the sequel!
Good introduction to the cast of characters. I always enjoy reading about the great white north.
One surprise after another.
This is a fast past book with a lot of twist and turns, a great read!
I loved it and the characters
Grab a blanket the bitter cold seeps out of the pages. You will never look at polar bears the same again. Relatable characters, even the shady ones.
can’t wait to read more!
Excellent story. Full of intrigue.
