Patricia Cornwell haunts again in this gripping mystery, Point of Origin I actually feel that these earlier Scarpetta books are her best.
Same old story
Point of Origin sets Scarpetta and crew up against one of their most formidable adversaries. Although she has been in a psychiatric hospital, Carrie reaches out to cause havoc and pain to Scarpetta and her family. The set up is so remote at first they cannot put the pieces together to prevent the horrible climax. Spoiler alert; the Scarpetta crew …
Everything she writes is good.. Pick any book, you won’t be disappointed
Cornwell is always a good read.
I love this whole series!
Great book, with some unexpected twists
A typical Patricia Cornwall thriller. Plenty of intrigue and thrills and a satisfying ending
This author used to be one of my favorites in her early days but not anymore. These days she spends too much time on the character’s self pity time along with her niece. Characters are not as strong as her early ones. I keep going back and trying to read her books and she keeps disappointing me although this one was a little better than the last …
I had gotten tired of the alphabet books. This is the first time in a long time that I returned to Kate Scarpetta and I’d obviously missed a lot. But it didn’t take long to catch on and I was hooked.
I am getting rather tired of Carrie still causing trouble. Let’s do to her
what needs to be done and get on to someone else. Will miss Benton
Loved this book. It does not disappoint!
Her books are always action packed and devious. Love it!
Great Scarpetta novel. As usual.
Good book in her series.
I always enjoy this author’s books. I get caught up in the character’s and their lives.
Like all of Ms Cornwall’s Kay Scarpetta books it was a wonderful who-done-it procedural. You can’t go wrong with this writer.
Great writing, great reading
Same great characters.
Patricia Cornwell always scores a good read with her well researched mysteries. Using familiar characters as well as new faces, Point of Origin is a page turner.
