I always love Patricia’s books. I have all but the last 3.
This book was hard to finish. Although I have read all of the Kay Scarpetta books, the last few have been more about Kay’s internal anguish than working an solving cases. Maybe it’s time to move on.
She’s a good writer but sometimes her books run together and sound the same
You could tell the author was very knowledgeable about what she was writing. Intense and heart throbbing tale. A page turner for sure
So-so entry in series.
Just could not get into the characters.
This book is really what I’ve been needing from this series. I really needed some sort of end to this craziness that Kay has been dealing with. I have been a fan of Patricia Cornwall and Kay Scarpetta for many years. However, this was not my favorite out of her books. I found it to be slower than her other books. I hope that she will keep them coming, though. She is one of my favorites!
All the Kay Scarpetta books are exceptional. I owned them all and am rereading them in e-book format. Plots intriguing, chatacters well developed and main characters are present in each book in the series as their relationships change and grow. Fun read and fairly straight forward easily understandable plots.
I’m a big fan of Cornwall!! I’m behind on her books but she is my favorite.
Just ok
