The first chapter or two of the book was a little obscure for me and I almost put it down. But I persevered and read the rest of the story. It was a great read. There were twists and turns completely unexpected. As usual the characters Ms. Coulter created walked out of the pages into my head and became reality for the duration of the read. Ms. Coulter has chosen a genre, created a grand series of books of which I have read several, and now will go back and read them all. I heartily recommend this book and any others Catherine Coulter writes to all readers.
Great book! I love Catherine Coutler’s FBI series and have read them all
Awesome book
This is a revisit for me in audio form and I think it was better this time around and I will upgrade from 3 to 4 stars with the audio version. There are two story lines going. Ruth Warnecki is treasure hunting and stumbles on a serial killer in the Virginia caves and is rescued by the local sheriff. His wife appears to be one of the victims (? though not proven) and they grow close while trying to solve the crime at hand. At the same time Savich and Sherlock are on their own hunt for a bomber who is after Savich who has a vendetta against him and is targeting him and those associated with him. So many twists and turns and a lot of it didn’t make any sense or tie to anything in the book. Was it tied to a previous book? Could be…Good narrator though.
I have enjoyed all the books in this series. The author has a wide array of events happening in the series. I like how there is always two story line.
Sherlock and Dillon have become like family and I look forward to each new book in the series.
