If hate is a game, this special ops man and ATF agent are out for blood. Or maybe they’re just fighting to see who will be on TOP.Special Ops Sergeant Lincoln Reed, aka Linc, doesn’t want to talk about how small, dark places make him want to blow shit up. He wants to forget about that time of his life and get back to his team. But now he’s trapped in an elevator with the annoying—and strangely … annoying—and strangely pretty—ATF agent he’s spent weeks trying to get off his back. She’s a know-it-all on a power trip… and has he mentioned she’s pretty?
One minute Nealy finds herself in a defunct elevator with a volatile special ops man and the next she’s in his arms… with her naked thighs wrapped around him. Now she’s forced to work even closer with him and the Ranger Ops team. She can’t think of anything worse than a bunch of chest-thumping gun-toting tough guys taking credit for her bringing down the biggest illegal weapons smuggler the US has seen in decades.
As their investigation takes them through two states and across the Mexican border, Linc and Nealy are forced into an even tighter situation and have no choice but to see it through till the end. But she’s still a know-it-all, even if she can kiss the lips right off him. And she could do without the soft spot growing inside her for the man who’s all mouth and muscles. Can she close the door on this case and keep her heart intact?

Wowsa! Talk about heat!
Linc and Nealy didn’t really start off on the right foot. However, that certainly changes the day he is released from the hospital she’s been debriefing him in after a failed mission. And the heat, passion, and intrigue only build from there! This book is scorching hot and will keep you on the edge of your seat right up until the end. I couldn’t get over the chemistry between these two.
As the third book in the Ranger Ops series, it is best when it’s read in order.

What a wonderful story.
Linc was captured and held in a metal shipping crate for days. While Linc is in the hospital he meets Nealy. Linc and Nealy get off to an extremely bad start when she goes to the hospital to find out what he knows about the group that captured him. Nealy gets passed by on a promotion that she deserves and desperately wants.
Instead of a new position she has a new assignment, to find out everything she can about a gun smuggling operation.
Can Linc and Nealy get past the problems that each have?
I absolutely love this book.
This is definitely my favorite so far!
Linc and Nealy are both great characters, well matched in guts and glory, even if she’s not part of the Ranger Ops, but working with them from the ATF. Their ops are gritty and their down time is even more gritty, so good!
Enough drama and action to keep you flipping the pages with angst, and needing that down time as much as the team. When they find out they’ve been set up…well, hell hath no fury like a woman….
Excellent reading, fast paced, 3rd in series, stand alone, HEA, hot contemporary romance!
I’m giving my thoughts and opinions voluntarily from an advance review copy I received thru Booksprout.
Oil and Water, that’s what Lincoln and Nealy are to each other, but boy oh boy, that elevator scene was hot! Loved the bowling scene between the guys as well, the ladies had pretzels to watch! Great suspense and a great story.
I voluntarily reviewed this book.
This could have been a really good book. Everything that makes it interesting. Intriguing, action packed, twists and turns you are not expecting BUT toooooo much F- word. Not everyone talks like that. Takes away from the pretty good story. Linc may be in Special Ops but still. Pretty good book other than that. A standalone with an HEA!!!
Excellent read with a lot of heat, danger and seeing who is the better person. Can these two get along long enough to solve this mystery. HEA.
Trapped in an elevator with a hot hunk? Yeees! But it’s not all good. Two things Linc doesn’t like? Small places and the sexy ATF agent hounding him. Surprise, surprise, she’s trapped in the elevator with him and soon things get hot. Talked about a couple. that sizzles. Soon Linc and Neely team up to stop gun smugglers and meet danger head on. This has it all. Suspense, danger, emotional drama, a fierce heroine and an alpha hero on the mend. Loved it!

Alpha Special Ops meets Pretty ATF Agent for some explosions
Point Blank Range by Em Petrova is another good story in the Ranger Ops series.
This is the story of Linc and Nealy basically hate each other but are forced to work together to bring down gun smugglers and to try and get revenge on some people. They have very explosive chemistry between them that neither of them is able to ignore forever and when the spark ignites watch out because all bets are off.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Loved Linc’s and Nealy’s story. What starts off not on good terms with the pair soon turns too much more as it seems their constant bickering and chemistry are too much to keep denying. Packed full of action, family, love, friendship and we have a good story which is good fit into this series. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is another great “Ranger Ops” story that I could not put down. Linc and Nealy’s story is great!!! These two definitely are combustible in more than one way. Both trying to find and bring down the bad guys and his captors/torturers. This story sucks you end and keeps you glued until the very end. Wonderfully written with and intriguing plot, great characters as well as great dialogue.
As Linc and Nealy spend time together trying to bring down gun smugglers and to get revenge for those who tortured Lince these two have chemistry that can not be denied they are hotter than these guns..And if you have ever read Em’s books you know that these men are pure Alpha/’s..

Linc has been captured, beaten and tortured in the past. He is now with the Ranger Ops with a know it all ATF agent on his back named Nealy. Nealy is the ATFagent with a job to finish. The two end up trapped in an elevator and in each others arms. A crazy drama, full of action, steamy sex and adventure. Another great read in this series.

This is the third story in the Ranger Ops series by Em Petrova. You don’t have to read the first two stories in the series to understand this story, but being that the characters are all in each other’s stories and gives a little bit more background into their group, it would be better. Trust me, it would really be worth the time. Em Petrova always writes fantastic stories with rich story lines and in depth characters. Once you read one of her books, you start to feel like you personally know these characters.
Nealy has worked hard for the AFT, especially since she is a female – she has to work twice as hard. She is up for a possible promotion, the other guy doesn’t have as much experience as she does so she thinks it’s a shoe in. When the guy gets the promotion, she is given a huge operation. She is to work with a special team from Homeland Security to bring down this huge drug smuggling, arms smuggling group. It just so happens that this group had kidnapped one of the special ops members and he is now in a special burn hospital right here in town. She goes there every day to interview him. She knows that if you ask the same question, keeping the occurrence fresh in one’s mind, you may remember something that you forgot before. She has to solve this huge case, then there should be no reason she shouldn’t get the promotion that she rightfully deserved in the first place. She just doesn’t know that there is someone in high places that is trying to shoot her career down.
Special Ops Sergeant Lincoln Reed, aka Linc, was kidnapped by the group that has been smuggling millions of guns and rifles into the US for many years. He finally figured it out, it was in the shipments with pigs. The weapons are in the bottom of the pig cages, in the ‘mud’ where nobody wants to search. He was beaten, questioned and then put in a 8×8 metal cage with no windows or bars. When the send in a box for a latrine, they didn’t know that it had baking supplies in it. Good thing that Linc is a bomb expert and he creates a bomb to get out. Unfortunately, he gets badly burned in the process, but he ecaped. Now in a special burn hospital for the military in DC, this ATF agent shows up every day, right when he is trying to get some sleep, and asks the same question, day after day, for five weeks. She always wears black dress pants, a white to light grey button up dress shirt and no make-up. She is kind of plain, but she has freckles. That is his secret passion – freckles. But she has gotten on his last nerves for asking the same question every day and he is getting really mad. When he finally has enough strength to stand up, he rushes her, also trying to scare her off with the damage done to his legs. She doesn’t scare off. When he finally gets released from the hospital, she is showing up as he is leaving and they are in the elevator together, when it malfunctions. They both have issues with small confined spaces so to take their mind off it, they turn to each other in passion. They get dressed just as the doors open.
She knew that she was going to be working with Linc’s group to take down the smugglers, but she didn’t expect him to overly protect her to the point of not letting her do her job. When things don’t go well with the intel that ATF gives them, they start to realize that something is up. Every op gets more dangerous to everyone and they need to figure out who is behind the false intel along with who is trying to kill the whole team.

This is steaming hot, thrilling and romantic. Linc and Nealy meet when she is sent to interview him about the details of his captivity after he escapes from the people of Operation X and then gets rescued by his Ranger Ops team. Nealy’s determined to get him to remember everything that happened, even though he keeps telling her that he can’t. After he’s released from the hospital and reports for his next assignment he finds that it’s to be a joint effort with the ATF, and that Nealy is the ATF agent he’ll be working with. Their bickering turns out to be foreplay, and as soon as they’re stuck on an elevator they have sex. But they still hate each other, until Linc has a bad period and calls Nealy. Linc turns all macho, arrogant man when it’s time for Nealy to accompany Ranger Ops on it’s mission, and risks her job by treating her like a woman, instead of an agent. A few twists to the story are shocking and sweet. This book had more sexy times than other Ops books did, but it still has an intriguing storyline.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
Sometimes you got to stop and listen to your gut! This is a library worthy series. Nicely done! Linc was taken hostage and tortured for information. He had a unique way of escaping, but he did escape! Nealy, lost a promotion to a less competent male co-worker, Mark Mitchum, her new boss. She is assigned shared commmand with Ranger Ops to bring down Operation X, the same people that tortured Linc. Her boss, made the fatal mistake of not treating her as an asset but dismissively as a ‘female’ giving credit for their first op to Ranger Ops. She learned that lesson. But O-X seems to always be one step ahead of the team. Does Mark have Neal’s back? Is Linc experiencing any PTSD? Who is behind Operation X? Absolutely Epic adventure. Impatiently waiting for the next story. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
Linc and Nealy are great characters with amazing chemistry. This steamy romance has it all. It has suspense, danger, great characters and a steamy storyline.

This book starts right where book 2 left off. Linc was taken captive and we start with when he first regains consciousness. He is so strong willed and dedicated he withstands all of the torture without saying anything. I love how he escaped using baking supplies. Granted he almost blew himself up in the process, but baking supplies. While in the hospital healing he meets an ATF agent, Neely, who is also working the same case. They butt heads every time she visits. This book is so exciting and terrifying at the same time. Neely has to deal with a condescending boss, an attitude from Linc and having to prove she’s at least as good as, if not better, than the men. The team takes one step forward and then gets pushed two steps back. Of course, working so closely together and harboring a secret respect for each other feelings grow. This is a fantastic addition to the Ranger Ops series and I love them all. Go on this wild ride to catch the bad guys despite the misinformation and betrayal Neely has to deal with. Thank goodness Linc and the guys have her back. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
I love the Ranger Ops series. Point Blank starts out with a bang and keeps going full-steam ahead the whole way through. The group teams up with an ATF agent to take down a major gun smuggling ring and suspicious things begin to happen. Linc and Nealy, the ATF agent, grow close during the operation and work together to find the problem. Linc is sexy and protective while Nealy proves herself more than capable of taking care of herself and him. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.
