Written like your favorite drama television show, the Palm South University series has been called “a mix of Greek meets Gossip Girl with a dash of Friends.” Follow seven college students as they maneuver unrequited love, teacher/student romance, the tangles of “no strings” relationships, love triangles and more. Each “season” has six “episodes,” and just like when your favorite show hits … Netflix, you can read just one episode at a time or binge the entire thing. With the perfect mix of angst, emotional romance, and romantic comedy, the Palm South University series is your next guilty addiction.
Drama. Lies. Sex.
Welcome to Palm South University.
The weather isn’t the only thing heating up in South Florida. At a school where fraternities and sororities don’t exactly play by the rules, relationships are bound to be tested. Parties and sex are definitely key ingredients in the Palm South recipe, but what happens when family issues, secret lives, and unrequited love get tossed in the mix?
Follow Cassie, Bear, Jess, Skyler, Erin, Ashlei, and Adam as they tackle college at a small, private beach town university. Written in television drama form, each episode of this serial will pull you deeper and deeper into the world of PSU.
Where the sun is hot and the clothes are scarce, anything can happen.

These characters!! This series is sooo addicting! It definitely needs to be on tv! On to the next book in the series!
The third installment in this series was just as good as the rest. A little more depth to the characters. Still feel as if I could walk into an episode and feel like I knew them. Awesome reading
This series is fast becoming a guilty pleasure I can’t put down as I NEED to know what is going to happen.
I am still loving these characters and watching them make a complete hash of things. Some of it is like car crash TV that you are simultaneously hoping it wont go that way but doing a cheer when it does. I’m still struggling with Cassie a bit. I had hoped she would bloom and grow more but she is still very childish and drives me insane.
Relationships are being tested and changed whilst these addictive characters are growing and changing. Its seriously addictive to watch.
This gets better and better! Now I’m totally invested into the lives of these young adults, and know their strengths and weaknesses. One thing I do notice about all of them is that their Greek society is so important to the detriment of their scholarly progress. I don’t see a lot of dedication to study but there is indeed a lot to party and booze!
This was one angsty installment! Adam was involved in a love triangle in the previous book (Skyler-Adam-Cassie), now he’s involved in another triangle (Adam-Cassie-Grayson). Bear continues with the tribulations about his little brother, Skyler continues to agonize about her choice of career apart from poker, and the rest are also involved in their own dramas.
There are problems with Bear’s fraternity due to excess partying and noise, Erin continues in a downward spiral after the tragic events of last book, and Jess comes over as a needy, manipulative girlfriend. Of the cast, I’d say the winners in angst in this installment are Jess and Bear, not that the others have lots of issues to deal with.
Ashlei is starting something with her boss at the Okay, Cool company. He’s hot, she’s smitten and it’s a wonderful story!
As I get more invested, I love the characters more and start to rage, laugh and cry with them as they go through their lives. Easter Week in Key West turns out to be much wilder than I ever imagined, something to watch and not participate in. The girls get so much closer together, and their shenanigans during Spring break are epic.
Even though I was never interested in the Greek way of life in University, I have to say that I loved the camaraderie and support that develops between the brothers and the sisters in Greek row.
This series keeps getting better and better! It’s hugely entertaining and riveting!
The name of this book should have been called Tension… cause this book is chocked full of it!! My favorite couple learned that long distance and not enough trust can’t save a relationship.. my heart broke with this one so much. I was rooting for them so hard!! The triangle of Cassie, Adam and Grayson add the most tension to this book. I applaud Adam for trying to be the better man but it all came crashing down. Grayson didn’t end up being the great guy everyone thought he was and that was disappointing but kinda expected since he’s a musician. Skylar and Bear have a huge fight over pride mostly. Jess tried so hard to have a nice Friendsgiving but it blew up in her face. Erin is burying her pain and focusing on being President. I really wish she would talk to someone in the house or a therapist about what happened to her. Ashlei, is my favorite in this book! She has grown the most in this series and she’s only getting stronger! She is starting an internship and wants to make an impression, for which she does. The elevator scene was so great!! Things get hot and heavy with her and Mr. Church. Man they know how to do things right in and out of the office! I loved this book and the amount of tension in it! Sure my heart broke but it was all good!!
My gosh, I love these books. They’re a little crazy dramatic but you know what, sometimes we just need that in a book. Especially right now. They’re a beautiful escape. And the thing I love about each installment is the fact that Kandi keeps you guessing. She throws curveballs (sometimes-in my opinion- at the WORST TIMES! But truly, honestly, they’re always for the betterment of each character. And of course, sometimes the curveballs are GLORIOUS! The thing I’ve been waiting for the whole book *cough, Grayson, cough*. Since the very beginning, Jess has been my favorite character but I’ve really been drawn to Erin. I LOVE HER SO MUCH SHE IS BEAUTIFUL. But also BEAR! And you know what, it’s really just all of them READ THESE BOOKS PLEASE AND THANK YOU!
*SPOILERISH*
The only bad thing about this book was the fact that Grayson is the one on the cover sorry not sorry but we are NOT friends
My hopes for book four are: Cassie & Adam Erin is HAPPY AND LOVED AND HELPED. Bear gets more “screen time” and either Jarrett foxes his stupid self or Jess finds happiness somewhere else. And I REALLY hope Ashlei and Brandon go somewhere OKAY BYE
Jealousy, betrayal, forbidden oh my… what an addicting series!!! Can’t wait to read Legacy!
This is my favourite “episode” of this series by far. SO MUCH DRAMA. I low key live for this. Considering I pretty much inhaled the previous book and this one in roughly a 36 hour period, you could say I’m obsessed.

I swear it needs to be a prime time drama HBO clearly, but prime time nonetheless
Kandi Steiner has made me want to be a student at PSU. I think my major would be psychology and people watching. I love this crew. Their wins, their losses, their hurts- I feel them all. The secrets, lies, and heartbreak are a personal attack on the reader. Seems like Pledge has some people in need of a Webster’s dictionary, there are a few who don’t know the meaning.
I need this show turned into an HBO or Netflix show. I figure HBO definitely wouldn’t skimp on the hot scenes that get the blood pumping. Can’t have PSU without the naughty bits…
Fun, feels, and Legacy ahead of me, I am worried I will get to the end of this series before I’m ready. Hopefully, Kandi Steiner plans on writing them forever!
We kick off another semester at PSU with the entire cast, although dynamics keep shifting among them.
We enter fall semester and I can’t seem to get enough of this group, their mistakes that would seem obvious, but at the same time at that age they just haven’t had the life experiences to know better.
Adam-Cassie-Grayson is a triangle that is super angsty in this book and my inner drama llama is loving and hating every single moment of it.
Jess and Jarrett- the one couple that actually had their stuff together is now facing a rocky relationship and I’m really torn up about that.
Ashlei is in a new internship and a new relationship that is just plain hot!
Bear, Skyler and Erin all have their same continuing stories from the prior books, but Erin continue to struggles with her abuse, stinking further into depression which seems like it could create problems down the line.
Skyler is completely focused on blackjack and is struggling to find a purpose with her life after college, and Bear is still dealing with the fallout of the one meaningful relationship he’s had at school.
The ending to Pledge will stun you and now I can’t wait to dive into Legacy.
Book three of the series has the characters continuing the balancing act that is college and sorority life. I love how all of the characters are coming in to their own and coming together to form lasting bonds. It’s great to see each character grow, learn, fall in and out of love, knowing they have each other to lean on. I’m so invested in everyone’s life know I can’t wait to see how the series ends!
Fun, sun and bad decisions all packaged together in the continuation of the PSU series
I cant fault these books at all I’m really loving them, this series is full to the brim with hurt, hate and heartache, its the best kind of addiction.
I’ve been hooked on the PSU world since I first picked up book 1 and I’m loving the ride I can’t wait for the next…
TKandi Steiner he PSU series is the perfect summer kick-off. I love returning to these characters who I love soo much.
Cassie and Adam:
OMG! Cassie and Adam are killing me!!! I want them together sooo badly, and Grayson – I knew there wasn’t something right with him. Cassie is better off seeking Adam anyway.
Ashlei and Brandon: The chemistry between Ashlei and Brandon is hot – like damn. I want more from them like ASAP.
Bear, Erin and Shawna
I’m hoping Bear and Shawna come to their senses but if not I think Erin and Bear would make a nice pair. Bear’s so gentle with her.
Jess and Jarrett:
OMFG!! Jarrett is a real piece of work – regardless if I see where both he and Jarrett are coming from. It almost felt like their relationship was doomed to fail but I was rooting for them. I’m not sure if their relationship can be fixed but I’m intrigued to see where they go from here.
I actually had the first 3 seasons on my kindle for a while now but just hadn’t started. In anticipation of season 5 being released next month I knew it was time for a binge. Oh boy what a binge it has been!
I’m really digging these characters and their stories and how awesome it would be to see these characters come to life on a TV screen. I mean c’mon this would be such a huge hit.
As much as I loved the first two season I still found myself losing track of who all of the characters were but now I know them all intimately and love the introduction of new characters as well.
If you want to get lost in the world of sororities, pledges, and all things Greek life you definitely need to dive into PSU!!
Wow loving this series and I can’t stop reading them! So many questions as to what is going to happen to each character! It’s great how the episodes/characters are all so well linked together. Looking forward to more episodes!
Now I want this series on tv, this is going perfect for tv drama adaptation, it’s even written for it already. Okay this is now Season 3, we get more drama, which makes it amazing. Our beloved characters are making me go on a rollercoaster of emotions, I am in love with all of them in their own way. The realism of the story in this book is what I wanted for them all. I need the next one!
This was a tad less angsty than the 2nd season, but still all the drama and fun. To be honest, I’ve raced through so much, I hardly know what happened in which season.

Aaah I just love our PSU Crew
This is such a unique series and I‘m so in love! Ecery character is amazing! I‘m excited what happens next.
Cassie and Adam are finally single at the same time and hopefully are together in the beginning of book 4.
I can‘t believe Jess and Jarrett aren‘t together anymore.. I hope we‘ll get to see him again. They‘re so good together even though the long distance wasn‘t good for them.
Erin is a badass! But I hope she‘ll get some help before she really breaks down and maybe Bear is there to pick her up again
Ashlei is kicking ass in her internship! She‘ll do great stuff next. I just know it.
And Skylar well I hope she finally finds what she‘s looking for.
I love our crew and can‘t wait for the next one!
In Book #3, Pledge, we dive back into the world of Palm South University with this tightknit group of friends/sorority sisters/sorority brothers. It picks up where Book #3, Anchor leaves off. You do have to read the previous books in order to understand what is going on in Pledge.
This was such a great book. You get all of the feels in this one. The steamy scenes are off the charts hot and sexy. Kandi takes us on a roller coaster of emotions as we continue to follow this wonderful group of friends while they navigate and battle certain demons, heartbreak, ending relationships, new relationships, hurt, betrayal, growth, and forgiveness. They all have their flaws but they are there to support one another as they navigate life, college, and heartbreak. They drop everything for each other. I love it. This was so well-written. I have fallen in love with these characters who each add so much depth and feeling to the story. I have to say though, Cassie, Grayson, and Adam stole the show (for me) in this one.
This series just keeps getting better! I think this is my favorite PSU book yet. I was so engaged and addicted to everything about it. I am so lucky that Book #4, Legacy, is already out and I can dive right in!
I’m flying through this series because it is so darn good. Kandi knows how to pull you in and make you care about these characters as if they were your friends. The drama, the sex, and the friendships are life goals in this series. I’m completely invested with these characters. I simply can’t wait to read more. Kandi knows how to write her angst.
