Blayze Jenson knew from the time she was big enough to walk around in her daddy’s boots that she wanted to be just like him—a fire fighter—when she grew up. While her family supported her dream wholeheartedly, there were others who made fun of her and doubted her ability to succeed in such a male-dominated profession. One person being Colton Burns, Blayze’s nemesis since childhood. With extensive …
With extensive training and lots of will-power and determination, Blayze landed a position with the Gorman Valley Fire Department where she worked her way up through the ranks. Now that Captain has been added to her name badge, she’s finally happy with where she is in life. Or is she? Seems there’s one thing still missing…a man.
When a trip back home presents Blayze with an opportunity to take her career even further, Blayze can’t help but wonder if she’s ready for the next challenge. Can she prove to the town she left a long time ago, to those that doubted whether she was cut out for such a demanding role, that she’s the right one for the position?
Will she finally be able to convince Colton Burns that playing with her heart is just as dangerous as playing with fire?

The “Girl Power Collection” is a celebration of feminism in an unprecedented manner and will serve as an inspiration for millions of readers across the globe.
Over the years, men that have made landmark achievements in different facets of life have often been celebrated with very little stories about bad ass women that have excelled in their respective positions. While there are some works that highlight the fantastic achievements of women in powerful positions, there is no particular project exclusively dedicated to celebrating the “girl power.”
The compilation contains short stories with the theme of Girl Power in whichever way the author defines it for herself and her readers. The 33 romance stories are narrated in a diverse yet entertaining and inspiring way and will be released in regular intervals throughout 2020.

Talk about playing with fire. I love the strong, determined woman Blayze is and how she keeps pushing through even when she’s told she can’t do something. It’s inspiring. However, there’s enough fire between her and Colton that even she can’t put out. Their chemistry is explosive and I loved reading how they both had to grow out of their childhood hate.

Aptly names Blayze wanted to be a firefighter just like her dad. Colton was a pretty boy student leader, much like his father the mayor
In the way of foolish boys who don’t grow up, Colton taunted her relentlessly- even in high school
When her Fire Chief dad is ready to retire, Blayze comes back to town, and finds a different way to spend much of her weekend
Changing relationships between parents and kids, unexpected twists and surprises
Fun girl power story

This is a great short enemies-to-lovers book! Blayze and Colton certainly had a tumultuous story from when they were younger but as adults Blayze is drawn to grown up Colton while still harboring resentment from their childhood. Being that it’s short there isn’t a lot of drama but the author for as much as she could in!! This book is a quick read that will have you living these two in the end!! Colton definitely belongs on my harem!
Blayze is a firefighter with a childhood enemy named Colton. He always teased her about not being strong enough to become a firefighter. Now Blayze is back home with the opportunity to show everyone she can do her job. Colton may just find how the sizzle between them can turn them to ashes. A good enemies to lovers read.
I absolutely loved Blayze and Colton! Blayze was a kick a** heroine who didn’t take crap from anyone…especially her childhood nemesis. But life threw them back together after many years and they couldn’t deny the fire that was burning between them. This was a sweet, sexy read and I can’t wait to read more from this author.
