HE’S READY TO PLAY . . . ARE YOU?As the new owner of The Players Club, Brent “Mac” MacMillan is all about dirty sex, wicked sin, and carnal pleasure . . . served up his way. After being burned in the past, he’s always been careful to choose experienced females who enjoy submitting to his dark desires, and are willing to play by his demanding rules without expecting any emotional attachments in … attachments in return.
Hiring beautiful interior designer Stephanie Randall to create fantasy bedrooms within his club is his first mistake. She’s curious, flirtatious, and makes his blood run hotter than it ever has before. Innocent when it comes to all the debauchery this sinful world has to offer, she wants to take a walk on the wild side . . . with him.
His second mistake? Saying yes. And his third? Falling for the one woman he knows he can never have.

Even though this is book 4 of The Players Club series, it can be read as a standalone. I really enjoy Erika Wilde’s books and this one didn’t disappoint.
Brent “Mac” MacMillan has just purchased the Player’s Club and wants to remodel the interior of the mansion. He asked his best friend Dean to see if Jillian (Dean’s wife) would be willing to do the remodel. Dean says he will let Jillian know and she will get back with Mac. However, it is Jillian’s boss, Stephanie Randall that ends up calling Mac and even though Mac had hoped to not have to deal with Stephanie, he rises up to her challenge and they get together to go through the 6 rooms in the mansion where Stephanie comes up with ideals to make each room into a fantasy themed room.
Stephanie has been trying to tell Mac that she is interested in him but Mac has controlled himself and not given in to her. Mac has issues with relationships due to his ex wife and feels that Stephanie is too young for him….there’s over a 10 years age gap between the two of them. Stephanie decides to tell Mac exactly what she wants which is a sexual relationship with him and to experiment with the BDSM lifestyle. She trusts Mac to not hurt her and knows that this is a short term “contract”. When Stephanie and Mac/Brent finally get together, their chemistry is so hot and Brent/Mac can be such a perfect Dom! As they continue their short term relationship, they each start to have deep feelings for each other but Brent’s disaster prevents him from opening up and Stephanie realizes that Brent needs to work through his issues but she is hopeful that in the end, he will find his way back to her.
Stephanie and Brent are the perfect couple. They have similar interests and feel very comfortable opening up to each other about their life to an extent. And the things that go on in the Player’s Club gives Stephanie ideas of what she is willing and/or wants to try. The two of them are so hot together that you want to cool yourself off!
This story was definitely steamy and the plot of these two finding each other kept me turning the pages as this was a good story and I was rooting for things to work out for Brent and Stephanie. A great addition to this series.
We first met Mac in the Marriage Diaries and now we really get to know him. He has recently purchased The Players Club and is redecorating. There are six master suites and he wants Jillian to design them. Jillian is married to his partner, Dean, however she is busy and turns it over to her boss and the owner of the business, Stephanie. Mac and Stephanie have been circling each other for a year and there are sparks Mac has been trying to ignore but now working with her he is not able to. Finally, pushed beyond his better judgment Mac…err…Brent and Stephanie share a spectacular night and it is everything she has always imagined and known she has been looking for. Can they continue working together with this chemistry and not explore the boundaries or will all boundaries be crossed and all wishes come true? This was well written and fantasies abound were inspiring. I enjoyed every minute of this one and recommend it!
What a hot, steamy and wonderful romance story Erika Wilde wrote with Playing His Way, book four in the Players Club Series. As the new owner of The Players Club, Mac is a single Dominant male and wants to update the Fantasy Rooms at the club. Stephanie, the owner of Fantasy Bedrooms and Interior Design contacts him about updating the club. Mac is attracted to Stephanie but he thinks she’s too innocent for him and wouldn’t be able to enjoy what he liked because she was so independent and sure of herself. Let’s just say that that didn’t work for Stephanie and she was willing to try anything. Imagine his surprise when he realizes she is not as innocent as he thought she was. You can feel the chemistry between Brent and Stephanie as she creates the ultimate fantasy rooms for the club, while bringing some fantasies to life for the two of them. Mac and Stephanie was one HOT couple.
I really enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down. Ms. Wilde wrote a wonderful story, with desire, and steamy, hot sex. She drew me in and did not let go until I turned the last page. I highly recommend this book to other readers.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book
This is the next book in the players club series and my absolute favorite. Brent “Mac” MacMillan just purchased the players club and has hired Stephanie Randall to redisgn the suites. They have had chemistry for the last year but Mac has baggage from his past and try’s to stay away from Stephanie until she is at the club and other men may be willing to show her the players club.
Erika Wilde did not disappoint with this read and I could not put this book down and I cannot wait for her next book.
This book is a quick read but that doesn’t make it any less enjoyable, it has plenty of depth and enough going on to keep you turning the pages, i didn’t want it to end and now I’m going to back track and read the rest of this series.
Mac and Stephanie are two very different people she is sweet and vulnerable and he doesn’t do nice but that doesn’t mean they are not attracted to each other and that doesn’t mean she can’t bring out the nice side of him and he can’t bring out the naughty side of her.
The Players Club is a sex club that Mac has just taken over and Stephanie is an interior designer who specialises in rooms decorated erotically, she is perfect woman for the job but is she also the perfect woman for Mac.
This book took me away from the mundane life we all find ourselves going through from time to time, it was exciting, it was taboo and I loved it. Looking forward to reading more by Erika Wilde.
This book was HOT!!!! I loved reading Mac and Stephanie’s story! Mac is a dominant who only sees submissives in his club. He and Stephanie have danced around their attraction to each other for a year, but he doesn’t believe that he is what she would want. When Stephanie gets the chance to design some rooms for Mac’s club, she gets to show him just how perfect they could bet together!
This is a short book, but is soooo HOT! The heat drips off the page. I haven’t read the rest of the series, but if they are this hot, I’ll have to go back. I would have loved a little longer story, but it was well told and I loved all of the sexy times in the book. I really enjoyed it.
Mac has been a real player at The Players Club and now he’s the owner. Wanting to update the look and feel of the club in addition to making it more exclusive, he asks Jillian to redesign six rooms making them over-the-top fantasy bedrroms. Jillian passes the job off to her boss, Stephanie. Just who Mac didn’t want because of his insane attraction to her. The two of them had been dancing around each other for the past year but he knows it cannot go anywhere because she’s not the type of woman to meet his needs. Stephanie is intelligent, creative, successful and a strong independent woman. She flirts outrageously with Mac routinely. After their initial meeting, she wrangles an invitation to the clubs masquerade party even though he’s dead set against it, at first. When she shows up at the party looking like a temptress he refuses to give in o what she wants, someone to show her the ropes (literally) She says she doesn’t need him, she’ll find what she’s looking for with someone else. Not happening, he thinks to himself and takes her up to his private suite. When he tells her about who and what he is and what he wants in a woman, she’s all in. They are incendiary together and begin a white hot fling for the duration of the time it takes to finish the rooms. Complications set in when they both develop feelings for one another and Mac makes a decision that the relationship is over because he cannot give her what he thinks she wants, children. While it can’t be farther from the truth, Stephanie is furious that he’s making decisions for her. She makes one last ditch effort to solidify their relationship. In the meantime he realizes that he truly loves her and not really sure he can let her go.
This is an amazing book. I missed the past 3 books in this series but I bet they are as excellent as this one. Mac and Stephanie are the best and their story is hot, sensual and romantic. I hope this is not the last book in the series. This story is worth reading.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange of my hones opinion.
Brent MacMillan doesn’t do relationships, love, or make promises of forever… he is however a master at the one night stands, the dirtier the better! He took a crack at forever in his younger days and it imploded before he really had a chance to get use to the idea of being married, so he decided from that day on that it just wasn’t something he was really willing to invest himself in again. Now the only entanglements he has with women are at his club, and each woman who comes along knows upfront that all they are getting from him is one night, he is not shy about telling him what he is willing to give nor does he want to waste their time. But then Stephanie Randall comes along and shakes up his normally controlled world, and he begins to wonder if he just unwittingly wandered down a road that he never planned to take.
The moment that Stephanie Randall’s eyes land on Brent MacMillian she wants him, problem is he doesn’t act to interested in anything she has to offer, and he shrugs off her advances…. but she doesn’t plan to give up that easily. Then he shocks her when he offers her a job putting the finishing touches on his newly purchased club, not only it does give her the opportunity to tap into her creative side, but it also gives her the opportunity to spend a little one on one time with him. And she plans to use it to her advantage and get her man!!
Playing His Way was a hot little page turner that kept me captivated from beginning to end, I thoroughly enjoyed it!! The story line was intriguing, sensual, naughty, and heartfelt, and came equipped with two amazing characters who knew how to keep things nice and steamy!! This is my first visit to the series, and after devouring this little gem I am excited to go back and check out the stories that I have missed, and acquaint myself with more of Ms. Wilde’s wonderful characters! Highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it’s sure to leave your heart happy, and your toes curled!!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and voluntarily read and reviewed.
Playing His Way is book 4 in The Players Club Series and it can be read as a standalone. I did go back and read book 1 Playing with Temptation and loved it. But, I ran out of time to read the complete series before Playing His Way was to be released. So, I decided to go ahead and read book 4. I can vouch that you can read these books in this series as standalones. But, if you can read them all I would recommend it. Only so that you will know all the characters. Not because you won’t know what is going on.
I really enjoyed reading Playing His Way. Brent “Mac” MacMillan (he is known by Mac to most everyone but, to his trusted friends & to Stephanie he is known as Brent).
Playing His Way is Mac and Stephanie Randall’s story. Stephanie is an interior designer and the owner of her designer business. Mac buys the Players Club (the sex club he just bought) and wants to ask Jillian (Dean’s wife, Dean is one of Mac’s best friends) and Jillian works for Stephanie.
Wow this is sounding complicated and it isn’t but, this is where it is nice to have read the other books so you would know the backgrounds. Erika Wilde does a great job of explaining who’s who so that you don’t have to read the previous books in this series. At this point I think I am going to stop describing this book and just tell you that I really enjoyed reading Playing His Way! After reading this book it makes me want to go back and read the other books in this series.
I give Playing His Way 4.5 stars. I love reading Erika Wilde’s books and look forward to reading more books by this author.
I just love this extremely sexy series! I’ve been looking forward to Mac’s book and it didn’t disappoint in the least! I love this particular story line maybe the best in the series for me. Mac is a dominant (in every sense of the word) and very complicated, yet still has a enough sweetness and a dash of vulnerability to make you want to take care of him and fall madly in love with him! As the new owner of the Players Club he wants to spruce it up and revamp some rooms. This is where Stephanie comes in. That is her business after all. He hires her to design his new rooms (which are so cool bye) and then they embark on a sex only arrangement once she confesses her desire to be dominated by him. He thought she was innocent and off limits but he was wrong, at least with him she wanted what he wanted in the bedroom or whatever room they played in.
They have incredible chemistry and their hot sexy scenes together are positively combustible!! Can these two people who are actually perfect for each other keep this arrangement up? Or will feelings enter the equation and complicate things? Can Stephanie show Mac that he can have everything despite his failed marriage years earlier?
You’ll definitely enjoy reading this to find out!!
Wow was this book hot and steamy! Mac and Stephanie were one HOT couple. Stephanie was a great person on her own- independent, business owner and she had great friends. Mac was a great guy- rich, good friends and also a business owner. But Mac liked to be dominant in his sex life and even though he liked Stephanie he didn’t think she would be able to enjoy what he liked because she was so independent and sure of herself. Let’s just say that that didn’t work for Stephanie and she was willing to try anything. Once Stephanie was with Mac they both realized that it worked for both of them but of course Mac starts to second guess the relationship.
The sex in this book is explosive and HOT! My kindle may have melted but it was so worth it!
Love this book/storyline. The author has done a great job of writing characters the reader can simply fall in love with and relate too. Take Stephanie, she got a great career in decorating and is moving up with high class clients. Then we have Mac. He’s a sexy, dominate man that is the new owner of the Player’s Club; which of course needs a facelift. But Mac can’t get Stephanie to do the job because he a one night stand kind of guy and he knows where his attraction to her would lead – so it’s a definite no go. So he talks a friends wife (who works for Stephanie) to do the job. But when it comes time to meet and discuss plans, guess who shows up…. Yep, Stephanie. And a little FYI, Mac’s not the only one that has been feeling the pull between them since they met months ago.
From here the story takes off and the sparks and wildness take on a life of their own. Great Read that I highly recommend. It’s fun, flirty and oh so sexy. I Just Loved it!!!
She’s sugar and spice. He doesn’t do nice. There are times when rules don’t apply, because the heart is plotting the course. Erika Wilde dares to dream in naughty and vice. Taboo becomes fair game and temptation just fans the flames. Playing His Way may amp up the volume when it comes to the heat, but Stephanie and Mac’s love affair has moments of tenderness that are a special treat. The sexiest moments are when Mac dares to be sweet.
Loved loved loved this story. Mac and Stephanie were so hot! Poor Mac never stood a chance when Stephanie’s patience finally ran out and she set out to prove they’d be great together. When I heard about Mac’s past I was so heartbroken for him. I really loved that even though this story enters the realm of the BDSM lifestyle and is totally erotic, it also had feeling and love and was totally a romance story too. I absolutely love how Erika Wilde can write erotic romance with so much sexiness and love. It’s not just an erotic and naughty novel. I absolutely loved this book and this series.
Stephanie owns a company that specializes in rooms decorated erotically. She is quickly rising to the top, getting famous clients and featured in magazines. Mac is a billionaire and just bought the Players Club, an exclusive BDSM club. He wants his friends wife to remodel six rooms because she works for Stephanie and he can’t get involved with her. Stephanie shows up for the meeting instead and has some great ideals for the rooms. Stephanie has wanted Mac since she met him over a year ago. Mac only does one night stands with subs from the club. He had a marriage that ended badly and he has sworn off relationships. There is a masquerade party at the club and Stephanie wrangles an invite out of Mac. This is where Stephanie gets her first taste of a dominant man. They decide to have an affair until the rooms are done in two weeks, then they walk away. Stephanie has fallen for Mac and Mac has too but he’s afraid she’ll want babies down the road and he can’t have them, so he breaks it off. But quickly realizes he can’t live without her but will he be able to win her back? So good. BDSM. Some smoking hot sex scenes. Two very strong willed people who only let their walls down for each other. I love Erika Wilde’s books and always look forward to reading them. * Voluntarily read and reviewed this for the author *
