Addison had always thought when she said, “I do” two years ago that it’d be forever. Madly in love, things were going along fine, great even, until she found out her husband was keeping secrets from her. Unable to deal with that on top of everything else in her life, she packed her bags and headed home to her parents. Bryce had been called a lot of things in his life, most of them he wouldn’t … wouldn’t repeat. One thing he’s never been called was a quitter. He’d proven time and time again that when he set his mind to something, he succeeded at it. It might take some persistence and a little hard work, but he never gave up until it paid off.
Bryce knows one way or another he was getting his wife back. He’d have to fight harder than he ever had before, but he’d do it for Addison, for them. He’d play dirty if he had to because he wasn’t going to lose. He was playing to win.

A great well written standalone addition to the series. This engaging story line had Bryce and Addison bumping along to a perfect ending. The characters were well developed with undeniable chemistry. I love the addition of other characters from the previous books making appearances as they are weaved through their journey. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC.
I just LOVE this series! They were all amazing, as was this one. This really focused on Addie and Bryce, but also let us in on Em and Jax and a little on Josh and Payton. I love the sense of family in these stories, and the amazing love and chemistry between the couples. I am so happy that they are truly have a HEA and that the series is continuing. I can’t wait!
I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest opinion.

This is the third book in the series, which is sad. I loved the interaction between the characters. Even though Addison caught him with another woman and he swears he was never unfaithful, she goes back home to her parents. Bryce will do anything to get her back. Addison needs to work through her feelings and can she trust Bryce. I also like the fact that there are other couples for the other books in the series that are still included in the books. The characters are wonderful and you get behind one and then something comes to light and everything you thought you knew is not really what you thought. Wonderfully written and I hope to read about these couples again. Just wonderful. Flowing story line, with sub plots.

Addison has not dealt with the miscarriage she suffered and because she is not sure why her husband Bryce is spending with the Renee the wife of his friend she leaves and goes back to her parents so she can think things over.
What she does not know is Renee only has a few months to live and he has been helping with their two sons when he could while his friend can work. There are some outside friendships in this story that are strictly friends only and the fact that Bryce can come off as a jerk at times but he really loves Addison and does not plan to giving her up.

This story has emotion, love, and pain. It is a well-written story and really hits hard. Both the characters are well built and have flaws but make it through the story all right. They have support systems which help them keep grounded. I remember reading their first story, where they meet and fall in love. This one is a bit more elevated in terms of writing as it has more feeling and goes deep.
I wrote this voluntary review in exchange for an ARC copy.
This is book four in The Portwood Brothers Series and it is Addison and Bryce’s story and what an emotional story. Addison loves Bryce with everything that she has and they have a great marriage or so she thought but with the secrets that he kept from her she has now decided to leave him as she is so hurt and angry. Bryce was devastated when Addison left him as he loved her so much, yes he kept a secret from her but it wasn’t his to tell and now he just wants her home. Will Addison and Bryce be able to save there marriage and get a second chance of is it all over. Addison and Bryce had such a strong connection and chemistry between them but will it be enough. I couldn’t put this book down as it was a real page turner and I had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next. Emily Robertson is a brilliant author and writer and I really enjoyed reading this book and I look forward to reading more books by her and I definitely recommend you read this book and you will not be disappointed.
