This was the second book. Definitely need to read the books in their order, so you knew more about the characters background. Not how I thought the book would end or who she would end up with. But overall, it was a good book.
Dean Ryker and Parker Anderson have both been vying for Sage Reese’s attention, and she loves them both for very different reasons. She spends her days working with Parker and her nights tangled up in the sheets with Ryker. After being put in the friend zone by Parker, she decided that her chances with him were slim to none, so she finally decided to accept Ryker’s invitation for something more. Ryker has made his interest in her very clear and is willing to invest the time necessary for a long term commitment. And while she appreciates having his undivided attention, there’s always a part of her mind that drifts to Parker, and wonders if she has made the right decision. A part of her heart belongs to Parker, and she has a pretty good inclination that a relationship with him would go beyond anything she could imagine,..but he doesn’t do relationships. She feels guilty for having feelings for him, while being in a relationship with Ryker, and knowing how much Ryker loves her, but she just can’t help herself.
The last thing Ryker wants to do is send Sage running into Parkers arms, but when his past comes back to haunt him, he’s forced to go undercover and assume his old identity, and he has to leave Sage behind. With her safety still at stake Ryker enlists Parker to protect her, full well knowing he could be making the ultimate mistake,
Parker is more than willing to step in and be her Knight in shining armor, and have the opportunity to spend more time with her outside of the office. He has longed to be closer to her, but constantly resists his urges because he knows he’s not equipped to offer her anything longterm. But the more time he spends with her, the harder it becomes to resist her…
This series has proven to be quite addictive, and after reading this installment I am left dying to know who will ultimately win Sage’s heart. These three have monopolized my thoughts for the last two days, and I’m still at a impasse as to which one would be a better choice for her, all I do know is that the third installment can’t come fast enough! If you like reading stories packed with intensity, passion, thrilling action, and two alpha males vying for the same women’s heart then this is DEFINITELY the perfect read for you! Ryker and Parker are sure to have you smiling the whole way through, and blushing from time to time too!

This is the second book in The Risky Business Series. This one picks up 4 months later where the first left off. Playing Dirty is a very well written book full of fast-paced action and characters that are life-like. The plot is a finger-nail biter and the cliff hanger ending leaves you wanting to throw the book at the wall and immediately wanting the next book in this series. I would recommend this book if you are into a love triangle, lust and revenge.
