This was a raw and gripping tale to the end. I love how Malone’s alpha males take charge and hold nothing back for their woman. Xander pulled out all the stops to be with Imani in this riveting conclusion of their love story. I love how Imani brings Xander to his knees, yet gives him the love he needs to raise his self-worth to the infinite atmosphere. Unlike her previous couples, Imani and Xander have a unique relationship. They both want the most from each other, yet have their hidden secrets. What Imani wants from Xander is what Xander wants from Imani. Unfortunately, they are both too stubborn, blind, and independent to realize that what they ask of the other, they take for themselves without any inkling of how ironic their requests are. Perfect Combination
Part 2 of the Playboy Prince Duet.
Nana Malone has mastered drawing us into her Royal World and leaving us wanting more. This story is no different and this Prince easily caputres our heart.
Xander is still trying to move forward with his life. He now realizes that he wants Imani in his life and he will fight to keep her with him. The two wants to protect each other but their worlds don’t make it easy for them.
The world that these two live in haven’t been kind to them but within this world they are still able to find each other and open their hearts. The beauty that comes after the storm makes you love them more.
While you can fall in love with all the characters within this Royal world, Xander and Imani are two characters that let you know how beautiful love can be! Definitely a win!

Playboy’s Heart is the second book of a duet, and it is not meant to read as a standalone. This story is about Xander and Imani and, in particular, things from the past that were traumatic and haunting still. Both have issues and baggage, but the question is whether or not they can learn to love and trust each other. It’s an uphill battle with plenty of obstacles. The story seemed a little contrived, but I enjoyed it for the most part. This is an easy read with drama, romance, some spicy stuff and a few heart warming moments. The twist at the end left the story of Xander and Imani inconclusive, and I didn’t love that aspect. Regardless, Nana Malone fans are sure to love this latest addition!

After such ending in „Royal Playboy” I couldn’t wait for second book in Nana’s Duology. Cause I seriously needed to know if even slightly Xander has any chance to redeem himself with Imani and that ending… Omg ( I’ll stop here cause I don’t want to spoil anything for people who didn’t read first book). And what you definitely must know is that these books (“Royal Playboy” and “Playboy’s Heart”) are not standalones and you need to read them in correct order.
“Playboy’s heart” starts definitely with some really serious action and from then you won’t be able to put your reader/book down that’s certain. In first book we get to know history of how our main characters met. In book two they both have to deal with a lot things from their private life and fight their inner demons in order to be happy. Xander was really messed up quite often actually not just on the physical site but also emotional and mental and he had to learn how to fix things before they become unrepairable and it will be too late. And Imani grew a lot in this book. She did her own things and didn’t wait to be hurt yet once again. And when they are together they work, fight and take every obstacle that life throws at them with same force as they love each other.
This book in general was perfect closing of whole story and I love it from the beginning until the end. And I really love that, weird for some time, four year time jump, because we got introduce to new characters and I was like “Ohh hello next stories. Nice to know you.”. And hopefully we’ll meet them in more details soon.
I loved the conclusion to Xander and Imani’s story. It was an epic rollercoaster of emotions. I couldn’t wait to start the second book after finishing the first one in the duet.
Xander’s struggles to deal with his emotions and issues get in the way of fully giving himself to Imani. And Imani struggles to give up some of her independence to truly see Xander’s good intentions. But when they come to together its explosive. There’s no hiding their true feelings when they speak in their actions.
I couldn’t get enough of this story. I can’t wait for more to come from Nana Malone. I’m addicted to her words!

I did enjoy this book. I liked getting Xander and Imani’s back story.
Imani and Xander both have things from the past that they hold back. Those things have a way of wrecking the relationship they have made. If they can get on the same page they can be unstoppable together. They can be the balance the other needs.
I liked the back story part of this book. However after that I felt lost. I have not read the other books about the other royals (aside from book one of this duet) and the references to others and who they are was lost on me. I would say you need you read the other books by this author to fully understand they dynamics of this family.
Love and Committment is not something that comes easily for Xander Chase. We have second part of Nana Malone’s Playboy Prince duet and boy do we see all of Xander and Imani. It started off as an arrangement between the two but man Nana Malone holds nothing back. We see a side of Xander that nobody has seen before which in some cases can be scary. I loved that Imani is exactly what he needs in a way that she balances him in every way. Their story is nothing like they have gone through which to them may seem like a rollercoaster. Not only do we see their love flourish but man the feelings that Xander has makes him more real now. This was definitely a duet worth reading seeing Xander grow from just a man to having sex to finally seeing he can be so much more was truly Nana Malone’s best work redeeming himself. Loved it.

I cannot pick one part that would be my favorite. To say this went the exact way that it played out in my head would be telling you a lie. So to say that I had a very surprise or twist. That would be much more accurate. Hot. Heavy. Sexy. Intense. I going to go out there and say that this duet is my favorite. Xander. Xander. Xander.
I just want to put this out there. If you can. And I suggest you make it happen. Read one and two back to back. If felt like more was contained within the pages and carried over. I was so excited when I read Playboy’s Heart the first time. But then I went and read part one then two right behind it. I saw things that I did not remember the first time reading them. This was so awesome.

There is a lot going on since they met, Xander is out revenge , but they are falling in love with each other but not telling the other, Abby’s ex come after Lexi but he get Xander instead, Xander wants revenge on somebody in is past that keep popping up Imani ex wants her back even though he raped her, but the ending was so good. I just want to read more about all of them!
I have not read the other royal books, but enjoyed this one. It has great characters, romance and intrigue. They were both broken characters, but finally seemed to find each other. The ending was left dangling. I’m not sure if there will be another book in this series or nit. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy.
They say revenge is sweet but is it? Xander has spent many years plotting his revenge but after Imani came into his life his priorities changed.
This is a very well written and entertaining story which I thoroughly enjoyed.

How is it that Nana Malone keeps her readers so addicted to each book that is released.
Through sheer writing talent, that’s how. And again, Ms Malone completes an action-packed duet with her trademark witty humour, action packed and twisted plot, rounded out with her usual steam.
Xander and Imani’s story kept me hooked through to the end. As always, this was a 5 star read for me!!!

This is the second and final book in the Playboy Prince Duet and it is not a standalone. It picks up where the first book left off. What began as a fake fiancée has turned into something much more that has Xander and Imani coming to the realization of the depth of their feelings for each other. However, Imani is questioning if their relationship is real. As each one is dealing with their respective issues from the past, Xander is torturously opening his wounds. Yet, the same cannot be said of Imani and adding insult to injury, she feels that Xander is holding back from her. Imani is a strong woman who wants to do everything on her own but can she let her defenses down and get help? This is one story driven by two people who may appear broken but their resilience to forge their way together through all of the obstacles is inspiring. Readers will feel for the characters as they power through their emotions that bring them to self-acceptance and love. I cannot wait for what this author has next. I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.
My heart ached for both Xander and Imani, you can’t help but feel for both of them and understand what they are going through, Xander with his need to be in control and wanting to make thing right, then getting frustrated as he has acted before thinking and not thinking of others and Imani wanting to be her own person and make her own decision in life for once. There is plenty of emotions in this one to go through and at time you love and hate people at the same time. It is always great to see the guys and gals from Winston Isle as well as Blake Security. I think in a few months I will go back and read both books back to back 😀
This is the conclusion to the Playboy Royal Duet. Xander has been living for revenge but was finally able to help Lex. Imani and Xander both have control issues and is something they have to work through to be together. Their relationship is complex in nature. The support in this book was amazing from the other characters that you love. The story has all the nice elements of suspense, romance, drama, and surprises.
I enjoyed the conclusion of Xander and Imanis story. Xander is willing to do anything for her, and she wants to retain her independence, so there’s a constraint strain between the two of them. I loved the ending, though. I’d recommend this book.
This is the second book in the Playboy Royal Duet. You have to read the first book, Royal Playboy, before this one. I loved Xander and Imani’s story. Xander’s past is heartbreaking. He is powerful, overprotective, controlling, and absolutely handsome! Imani is a wonderful character, strong and independent. They share a sizzling chemistry. The supporting characters have an important part in this story. This is a beautiful story, fast-paced, filled with angst, danger, and unpredictable twists and turns. The conclusion is amazing, and the Epilogue is perfect! I loved it, and I highly recommend it.
