Meet Allie Babcock – The Audacious Dog Therapist with a Flair for Sleuthing
At her brand new shop in Boulder, Allie’s very first client is a dejected collie whose previous owner allegedly took her own life. But with a natural nose for crime, Allie soon suspects murder—leaving her dejected canine client as possibly the sole witness to …
I love dogs and when I saw the cover of this book, I had to read this and I enjoyed it very much. This is about Allida Babcock who opened a new business as a dog psychologist. Allida is very believable and knowledgeable about training dogs and gets in the middle of a murder by helping a collie. The dogs also help Allida solve the murder that is …
Not fine literature, but definitely a fun, relaxed read. If you like dogs and feisty damsels in distress, and just want an easy book to enjoy without working too hard, this is a nice one.
Liked the story and characters very much.
i really enjoyed this book and wanted more
I wish this author would write more in this series. It is about a dog behaviorist who always seems to keep getting involved with murder’s. Highly recommend.
Loved it!
Intertaining allot, will read it again someday.
Loved this book
I would have enjoyed this book a lot more if the Kindle version had worked properly. Numerous attempts to download the entire file failed numerous times. I finally gave up.
Wonderful twist to the main character in the story.
It was worth reading for the dog training tips. It suffered the weakness of the majority of cosy mysteries. Too many characters were introduced in an attempt to make a long list of murder suspects, then the ending got messy in the rush to reveal the real culprit. It seems to be the pitfall of this genre. The reader can only overlook this so many …
This was a terrific read, the type of book that you really don’t want to put it down because you want to see what happens next.
The story line was an easy, somewhat fun read. However, I was really troubled by the main character, who was a dog psychologist in Boulder, Colorado, leaving her dog in the car for extended periods of time while she attended to doing other things. Anyone who has lived there and knows anything about the mile high climate that elevates the heat …
Very well written and I look forward to reading more of this author’s books.
I wanted to read this book because it is about a collie. Allida Babcock returns to her hometown to open a dog psychology practice. After going on a radio talk show, she becomes involved with a case of a collie that wouldn’t eat after the death of his owner. The show brings out people interested in the dog and Allida. This mystery was fun with …
I liked learning about dog training while solving a mystery.
An easy read, but the dog seamed to be an after thought in the discovery of clues or solving the mystery. Still an entertaining and easy read.
It was a fun light read.
This is a cute read. Kept my attention to the end.
