Mistakes were made, okay? The moment I laid eyes on Kyle Kingston I knew he was a mistake. A satisfying, toe curling, hair pulling, best night of my life mistake, but a mistake all the same. I didn’t yet know his name, or who he was, but I knew he was a bad idea.I take comfort in that, because it means my instincts are still good. Too late, but it’s something.Because, FYI, I’m pregnant… and did I … I’m pregnant
… and did I mention my baby daddy is both heir to a retail empire and impossible to get ahold of?
I do what any girl would. I break into his Grandfather’s retirement gala by telling the prissy gatekeeper Kyle’s my fiancé. It was a halfway decent plan at the time, trust me.
But it blows up in my face, disastrously so. You see, Kyle Kingston is all about representing the family values his family’s retail empire was founded on. At least in public. In private- well I’ll tell you about that later.
He proposes – a marriage of convenience.
Convenient for everyone but me, because while I’m falling in love with my convenient husband, he’s keeping a billion-dollar secret. From me.

I adore Jana Aston’s writing. She never fails to make me laugh out loud. I love the quirkiness and the banter and the situations that arise in this story. I could not put it down. It was so much fun and full of heart. I love these characters and was excited to read this one after reading Sure Thing. I can’t wait to find out what she will be writing next.
Jana Aston’s heroines are always a little quirky and if that is what you love about her writing then you won’t be disappointed. Daisy is the identical twin sister of Violet that we met in Sure Thing. This story centers around where Daisy went while she left Violet to take her place at her job as a travel guide. Daisy finds out she is pregnant from her one night stand after she her broke her “jerk diet.” She set out to notify him of his impending fatherhood because “it’s the polite thing to do thing to do.” She comes up with a plan to meet with the hard to get a hold of Jake. Things don’t quite work out like she thought they would. I turns out Jake isn’t the jerk she though he was.
I totally loved reading this book!
Daisy made me snort laugh too many times reading this book that I lost count.
I soo loved the back and forth between Daisy and Kyle. It had me thoroughly entertained reading this book.
This book is sexy, funny, & will have you smiling for days on end from what you just finished reading.
And of course, the signature Cat pet is included because it’s a Jana Aston book!
Go get this book!
5 popped!
Omg Jana never disappoints. I FLOVE Daisy and Kyle. From the minute I started reading Daisy and Kyle’s story I was hooked. Kyle is swoon worthy and definitely you will want him as your book boyfriend. Daisy, where to begin, she will have you lol and have you wanting to be her best friend. Another laugh out loud 5 star read that I think everyone should definitely one click. Plus you will absolutely love Tubbs.
Daisy really is just adorable, “I don’t dislike you now,” I tell the table, then raise my head to glare at him a little. “But that doesn’t mean that I like you, either. Just so you know.” Kyle you, know gets distracted easily, “…I walk into Kyle’s closet in my underwear and he stops unbuttoning his shirt to stare at me. “Can I borrow these?” I loved this book, I loved Daisy and Kyle
Gah. I’ve been waiting on Daisy’s book Forever!!!! And it did not disappoint me! I love Daisy’s attitude about life. And Kyle. Friggin Kyle. SAAAWOOOON City on that boy. Sheesh.
I love a one night stand turned forever romance so friggin much. AND a baby! Kyle is what every woman would want during their pregnancy. Sheesh he killed me with his swooniness, is that a word? I’m making it a word. He’s dreamy. And Daisy is strong and hilarious and you really just wish you were her twin BFF.
Once again Jana Aston has made me laugh out loud and brought me so much enjoyment from reading this book. I love Daisy and all her quirky, crazy thoughts that just run through her head. She has been on a diet. A special kind of diet and when she blows her diet she winds up with a special package.
Kyle is next in line to run his family’s business. He isn’t looking for love but when he meets Daisy he is instantly taken with her. Due to his wealth he is questioning of her motives so when he leaves her without even a phone number he takes her camera. Now she has shown up at his Grandfather’s retirement party and announced that she is his future wife. What the ……
I absolutely loved this book. The characters are so much fun. I laughed out loud so many times, I could just picture Daisy in all her crazy and instantly fell in love with Kyle. Daisy is the peanut butter to Kyle’s jelly and t0gether they blend so well. We also have the loveable Tubbs-McGee to fall in love with, a 17 pound cat that rules the home. So so good. I won’t give any spoilers away but it is a definite 5 star, must read.
I received an early copy to read and review and give my honest opinion. I loved this book and I highly recommend it.
You know when you read a book and you just have to have a sub charactes story because the author has intrigued your interest that much? Yeah Daisy was that character for me, as much as I loved violet I just knew that Daisy had an awesome story to tell and man I was right.
I loved every min of this story I just couldn’t put the book down, from Daisy’s quirkiness to Kyle’s lusciousness and their story intertwined it just kept my attention the whole way through.
Grab this book you’re going to love it.
I loved this book and recommend it for your must read summer list! Jana Aston has a way of writing that brings in laughs, swoon worthy moments and must have book boyfriends. Plan B is no exception to this and one I was so excited to read!
What does Daisy do when she finds out she has a bun in the oven? Why of course she tracks down the hard to reach baby daddy to share the news because, well it’s the courteous thing to do. When it proves it’s getting more difficult to get in touch with Kyle, aka baby daddy, Daisy does not let that slow her down. Even with being pregnant she thinks quick on her feet and lands at a family affair- trying to explain she is Kyle’s fiancé so she can get in to the exclusive event.
This snowballs bigger and faster than Daisy was prepared for. It leads to laugh out loud moments. I love Daisy and the craziness she gets herself into. Kyle is a top contender for a book boyfriend. He takes Daisy as she is and keeps her on her toes.
This is a one click! You will be oh so happy you do!
Jana Aston never fails to make me laugh out loud while reading her books. Not only was this book hilarious, but it had troupes I absolutely love. Surprise pregnancy and marriage of convince.
If you’ve read Sure Thing, you’ve met Violet’s wild twin sister Daisy. Daisy is the twin that’s more adventurous. She’s fun, has no filter, and is unapologetically herself. Daisy has had bad luck with men so she goes on a ‘dick diet’. Four months in, she meets an irresistible man named Kyle while traveling and breaks that diet. Totally worth it, but now she’s totally pregnant and has to find Kyle to tell him. Unbeknownst to her, Kyle is someone easy to find but hard to track down. Due to him being a CEO and all…
Kyle and Daisy end up in this fake engagement that turns into a marriage. It’s much more than either one of them imagined and even though it seems impossible, they start to fall for each other. But there are secrets Kyle’s keeping and when Daisy finds out, well…
I seriously read this book so fast. I devoured it in one night. It’s a quick read, but also completely addicting. My only real complaint is that I wish it was longer. I could have used more Kyle and Daisy. Daisy was a hoot. One of the funniest characters Jana has written yet. I loved being in her head. And Kyle was an unlikely yet perfect match for her.
Plan B is a book I was waiting for and let me tell you, it was worth the wait. If you’re looking for a funny, highly entertaining, snarky and sexy read, pick this one up! It’s rom-com gold!
I need Jana to conjure me up a Kyle, because… SWOOOON! I was late to the party on reading Sure Thing (Best Laid Plans bk. 1), but I am so glad I found it last week. While Plan B can totally be read as a stand alone, I got so much more out of it by being able to follow along with all the interconnected conversations and happenings between the two books. Either way, this is a dang good book, and one that you need to get your hands on! Like, yesterday!
I don’t think I could EVER tire of Jana’s words. Like NEVER, EVER! She is the queen of witty, hilarious inner monologues with her heroines which I totally relate to! I loved this book so much, and I can’t wait for what’s next!
Plan B by Jana Aston was so much fun to read! Daisy, Violet’s twin sister from Sure Thing, has taken some time off men, until she meets Kyle. But that is okay, because he was a one-night mistake. Or so she thought, because he left her an everlasting gift! But when she cannot get ahold of him to break the news, what does she do? Well break into one of his family events by pretending to be his fiancé of course!
I loved Daisy. She is out-going, feisty and speaks her mind. Frequently and honestly. Kyle is kind of a big deal. He is an heir to an empire and yet he is kind and sweet and takes Daisy in stride, because what else is he to do! Their chemistry and banter was off the charts and had me devouring the book. Plan B by Jana Aston is a surprise baby with a marriage of convenience romance with all the best feels and I loved it! A must-read for sure!
5-loved it stars! Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog!
Happy reading!
Jana Aston never disappoints with her wickedly funny rom/com and Plan B was no exception.
For those of you who read Sure Thing, this is Daisy’s story. For those of you who haven’t read Sure Thing, you can still read Plan B as it is a standalone. But sure, definitely read it and read Violet’s story.
If you’re into secret baby and marriage of convenience, then this is your jam. Add a snazzy/ballsy heroine like Daisy, an adorable chubby cat, Tubbs-McGee and add a got guy in a suit in Kyle and you get romantic comedy funnies.
Daisy’s inner monologues are downright crazy and more so over-the-top with pregnancy hormones. Oh Kyle, he’s a good dude albeit “old fashioned” in some respects but so genuine.
I really enjoy Plan B, although for me some instances felt a bit rushed. Overall, I did laugh a lot with Daisy’s crazy hormonal thoughts. And the sexy times, hot, hot, hot. Get ready for Plan B.
.
When Daisy’s hottest night ever results in a positive pregnancy test, the consequences end up being really the best thing that has ever happened to her because her baby daddy is a genuinely great guy who’s swoony af. At first she thinks he was a mistake, that the marriage of convenience he proposes will end disastrously, with her only getting some needed support, but what she and Kyle end up with is so much more than just convenience.
Oh God, I adored Plan B! Daisy’s inner (and outer) thoughts are freakin’ hilarious. She really has no filter, no capacity to understand how her blunt observations can be perceived by the rest of the world, and she probably wouldn’t even care even if she could perceive. She’s funny, fun, snarky af and real. And then there’s swoon worthy Kyle…damn, I want me a Kyle of my own!
Jana Aston’s romantic comedies are always good for some laughs, some sexy times, and a great story line, but honestly, Plan B is even better than her usual, right up there with Trust, which is not easy for me to say because Trust is absolutely, by far, my favorite of all Jana’s stories. Daisy’s quirky rambling reminds me of Chloe in a lot of ways, and Kyle is almost as swoony as Boyd. That alone tells you how much I love Daisy and Kyle together, because my love for Boyd and Chloe is legendary (in my mind ). Anyway…enough of my own rambling, I’ll just say you gotta pick up your own copy of Plan B because it’s fabulous – funny, witty and sexy. Classic Jana Aston.
This story had me in fits of giggles
I deviured this story. Defiently recommended
Yes! Finally Daisy’s story and it was worth the wait. I’ve been curious about her since she pulled a switcheroo in Sure Thing with her identical twin Violet. She’s funny and caring and a little crazy (I think) but she’s also a successful businesswoman in her own right. And her Plan B works just fine. As for Kyle, geez can he be any more swoon worthy. A billionaire that’s not too afraid of his feelings and a perfect match for Daisy. And yeah, I’m totally with Daisy on the tie pulling thing cuz I think that’s hot too!
Oh and a few cameo by some of my favorite Jana Aston characters…If you’re a fan of Jana’s you will definitely enjoy this book. If you’re not yet a fan why not start here?! You won’t regret it!
Plan B is another humorous masterpiece by Ms. Aston! I laughed out loud more times than I could count. Daisy was a hoot – and her inner voice was perfect. Of course, Kyle was perfect hotness, and I want my husband to put on a tie now – just so he can take it back off again.
There were quite a few unexpected moments in Plan B, and that just made the overall story even better. The romance was well done, and I loved how Daisy had to work hard to actually find Kyle after their first meeting in Boston.
I also loved how important Tubbs, the fat, orange cat, was to the story, and how he became Daisy’s confidant. Plus, there were some cameos from prior books by the author…
If you want a hot, flirty and fun read, Plan B is it!
If you are ever in need of a good pick me up book then all you have to do is pick any book by Jana Aston. You are sure to giggle snort and have strangers look at you weirdly in public. Or like me, you start laughing and almost fall off the treadmill. True story, I about broke my neck. Anyways, enough of my clumsy reading antics and onto the review.
Plan B is an awesome read in itself, but make sure you read Sure Thing first, it will fill in so many gaps for you.
You know from the blurb that Daisy is already pregnant. Well, being the responsible young adult she is, she wants the father to know about the baby to be. You would think in this day and age of social media it would be really easy to find that one-night stand. Well for anyone that isn’t an heir to a department store empire maybe. She can’t find him on any platform. So she is going to do what any rational thinking pregnant woman would do…crash his Grandfather’s retirement party.
Kyle is Daisy’s break from her dick diet. Oh, what a break it is! This hit it and quit it ends up being a lifetime commitment.
Read this book to find out what hilarity ensues. A must read!!
Every time I read a book by Jana Aston, I fall more and more in love with her. I don’t even care if that’s creepy. I might turn into a stalker like Daisy. Plan B reintroduces us to Daisy, the fun loving twin of Violet from Sure Thing. You don’t need to read Sure Thing to understand this book, but it’s a great book so you should put that one on your TBR list too. Daisy is hilarious. I love the banter back and forth with her and Kyle. This book is so sweet and funny and sexy. It made me smile and laugh out loud. And Tubbs McGee is a dead ringer for my Fred. I love a good cat character. I needed a great read right now, and I got one. 5*****
I can always count on a Jana Aston book to make me laugh and this one was no exception! I loved Daisy and her crazy, and Kyle was oh so swoony! I really enjoyed how their story evolved and the chemistry between them. Now when does the next JA book come out?!
