Mistakes were made, okay? The moment I laid eyes on Kyle Kingston I knew he was a mistake. A satisfying, toe curling, hair pulling, best night of my life mistake, but a mistake all the same. I didn’t yet know his name, or who he was, but I knew he was a bad idea.I take comfort in that, because it means my instincts are still good. Too late, but it’s something.Because, FYI, I’m pregnant… and did I … I’m pregnant
… and did I mention my baby daddy is both heir to a retail empire and impossible to get ahold of?
I do what any girl would. I break into his Grandfather’s retirement gala by telling the prissy gatekeeper Kyle’s my fiancé. It was a halfway decent plan at the time, trust me.
But it blows up in my face, disastrously so. You see, Kyle Kingston is all about representing the family values his family’s retail empire was founded on. At least in public. In private- well I’ll tell you about that later.
He proposes – a marriage of convenience.
Convenient for everyone but me, because while I’m falling in love with my convenient husband, he’s keeping a billion-dollar secret. From me.

All the sexy, good fun, and my favorite brand of crazy lol! Loved!!
This book was so funny, it was great seeing what was happening behind the scenes of Sure thing. This book may have been written a year later, but it takes place during the same week Violet met Jennings. Here, it’s Daisy’s turn to meet her match, and meet it she does.
In Kyle Kingston.
He’s got a secret that Daisy doesn’t know about, but hers outweigh his, and are outted before he can say anything. Before he knows it, he’s not just become engaged he’s about to become a father too… and there’s only one thing to do.
Kyle and Daisy have a hot and intense relationship. It was fun watching it go from fake to real. From distrust to consuming love and passion. A great book for a sulty weekend away… or whenever the fancy strikes you. Grab your copy today.
I couldn’t wait to read Daisy’s story especially after the little snippets we got of her in Sure Thing. Daisy’s story was a sexy, laugh out loud, sassy read filled with a surprise baby an unplanned marriage, that held me captive from beginning to end. I fell in love with Daisy and Kyle, so much so that I wanted more, so much more I didn’t want their story to end. Another great read from Ms. Aston!
Great read. Highly recommend. Thank you.
*New to me author
I enjoy Daisy in Plan B. This book is a beautiful read that is an unexpected pregnancy plus a surprising fiancé story. I enjoy these types of stories, and this one was no different.
Daisy and Kyle are hilariously funny, and the chemistry is off the hook. I really enjoyed this book.
I cannot tell you how excited I was to get my hands on Jana’s new billionaire romcom, Plan B!! Plan B was just what I needed, laugh out loud, sexy, steamy, marriage of convenience story!
Kyle and Daisy are definitely the perfect opposites attract love story! A carefree, fly by the waist side woman meets a composed, traditional billionaire man … she’s feisty, he’s swoon worthy, add in a pregnancy and it’s the perfect fall head over heals story! Kyle and Daisy couldn’t have been more opposite, yet they were more than perfect for one another. I loved the banter between the two and their chemistry was typical Jana style … hot & sexy with a little bit of turmoil mixed in to make you begging for a HEA! And don’t get me started on the orange tabby cat, Tubs McGee. He steals the show!
5 I fell hard for Kyle stars!
To be completely honest, I was not too sure how I was going to feel about Plan B and Daisy since I had just read The Sure Thing a few weeks ago and I saw her to be so flighty, but I really enjoyed it. Daisy actually does have her act together, and I do admire her. She is feisty, independent and her quick wit was top notch. Kyle is a very straight laced, nerdy type who happens to be the CEO of a major company, the complete opposite of Daisy. But even with how different they are, the chemistry oozes off the page and are just perfect for each other. The banter between these two was also so fun and caused some laugh out loud moments. I do have to say the appearance of Tubbs was a highlight.
So much happens after what started off as a one-night stand; a surprise baby, then a fake engagement, which resulted in a marriage of convenience, then a misunderstanding that causes some heartbreak, all while both having secret feelings for one another. But it was all worth it when they finally got their HEA!
Overall, this was such a fun read, Daisy and all the things she blurts out were hilarious. The scenes with Tubbs McGee and Daisy were the sweetest. And watching the relationship that develops between Kyle and Daisy was so wonderful to see. I do have to say though that I did have a bit of an issue with how he reacted with Daisy the first time they were reunited again but he completely redeems himself with all of his actions. All in all this was a fantastic story and I definitely recommend it.
Fun read that has plenty of romance. I have loved all of Jana Aston’s books and Plan B is no exception. Daisy and Kyle are the perfect couple. Jana is the Rom Com Queen and you should definitely read this ASAP. Can’t wait for more from this hilarious author.
BOOM…she did it again. Jana Aston is officially the queen of RomCom! Plan B is witty, heartfelt, intelligent, HILLARIOUS and poignant. Aston’s timing and pace of the story is something to be envied by writers, adored by editors, and devoured by readers. And the bonus? If you are reading all her books (which – WHY AREN’T YOU!!!) it all ties together so nicely. These books comprise a deliriously funny group of friends, family and assorted loved/hated ones that are relatable and just plain fun to read. I went through tears and out loud laughter in the first few chapters. Daisy (as most of JA’s characters – which is good thing!) has an internal monologue that is so relevant and relatable it only lends to the laughs – even through the tough times/tears. Kyle is nothing like what you would expect, except you always count on JA giving us not just redeeming qualities in a man, but men that are perfectly imperfect! Trust me, you’ll get it when you read this – or any of her books! I gush because it’s deserved. Daisy and Kyle also give us small glimpses into ‘where are they now’ with nods and notes from characters of other reads. It doesn’t overwhelm, in fact they are comforting moments of ‘oh, hey, I know that person, so glad they are doing well’! I’m way older than these characters, but their words, feelings, actions and lives are still significant. No, not everyone gets knocked up on a first date – but it’s a book people – roll with it! Thank you for another amazing read! Just when I start to wonder if a new JA book is really going to be all that different from the last – BOOM – the unexpected smacks me in the face! And makes me laugh.
You can always count on Ms. Aston to deliver a smoking hot, laugh-your-ass-off, happily-ever-after-with-lots-of-kids (just how I like them) romance. Plan B was a prime example.
Daisy, Violet’s “fun” twin, first appeared in Sure Thing, and I got the feeling she was up to some crazy shenanigans… and now we finally know what that was. Daisy gets knocked up during a one-night stand in the middle of her dick cleanse. She is able to track him down, only to realize he is a billionaire CEO and there’s no way for her to reach him with the news.
Desperate to get that announcement out of the way so she can start planning for her new and unexpected future, she decides the only way to do it is to crash his grandfather’s retirement party. Only, that turns out way more difficult than she expected it to be and ends up telling everyone she is his fiancé.
Let’s just say that when Kyle finds himself in front of a fiancé he never knew he had he loses his shit. Luckily for Daisy, he takes the news of his impending fatherhood better than she expected. Unfortunately, now everyone in his family and the company think he is engaged.
Kyle and Daisy’s chemistry is really out of this world, and they make very good use of it. Kyle was a serious yet playful, sexy and hot nice guy. I really loved how he was towards Daisy as well as his sister and grandma… and Tubbs.
Daisy was a ray of sarcastic sunshine and she had me laughing with her thought process. In the cusp of pregnancy hormones, she could give me whiplash with her mood swings but that was actually half the fun of it. She was sweet and funny, caring and surprisingly levelheaded… I was really expecting a wild child but what I got was a lovely girl who knew how to have fun and didn’t sweat the small stuff. I absolutely adored her.
While their relationship was mostly smooth sailing, I found myself wishing things were a bit less easy to resolve. Although I really got a kick out of Kyle’s last revelation.
Plan B is a fun, quick and easy read that I thoroughly enjoyed. It had everything I needed, including a kickass epilogue. We even get some cameos from Dr. Luke McHotness which totally made my day.
This book was beyond fun. Daisy in her head will have you laughing at loud. Kyle will have you rolling your eyes at his antics to get Daisy going. I loved every minute of this storyline. From dick diet to unplanned pregnancy this story is a keeper!
Jana Aston will always deliver. Highly recommend this amazing beach read!
I had to wait awhile on Plan B and I can tell you this: it was every bit worth the wait! JAston writes rom-com expertly. She kept me giggle-snorting while flipping through the pages as quickly as I could!
We got a little taste of Daisy in all her crazy-fun glory in Sure Thing , the first book in the Best Laid Plans series. She was wild enough to be pulling a twin switcheroo at her job! I already loved her “live life to its fullest” approach to live so I was eager to get her story. And while Daisy may jump in with both feet before considering the consequences, she’s also smart, loyal, compassionate and responsible…most of the time. 😉 The one time she isn’t…the one time she lets the guy handle the condom…well, she’s paying for that. 😉
Kyle – Daisy’s baby-daddy – is one hard-to-find man. Well, Daisy found him but can’t actually contact him. No numbers, no social media accounts. It’s like he’s some very important yet very private guy. So Daisy takes matters into her own hands and concocts a brilliant plan to “bump into” him. It all goes according to plan…NOT! But Kyle doesn’t seem too bothered.
I really liked Kyle. He was the yin to Daisy’ yang. Where Daisy was chaos, he was even-keel. Watching their romance really blossom was sweet and gut-busting hilarious. I enjoyed the dynamics between Kyle and his family and how easily he inserted Daisy into the mix. And I adored getting the “other side” of Violet’s story as seen through Daisy’s POV. It was all fun and sweet and humorous. Ooh! Also, the whole story is told in dual POV so you get to know Kyle pretty well too!
JAston is Rom-Com genius! She’s never disappointed me so I’ll keep auto-buying her no matter how long I have to wait.
Kyle is one lucky man. Daisy is one smart compassionate woman. They make for one interesting complicated couple. Neither is sure of what they should say or do in their situation. Could not wait to see where the story would go. A must read. Loved it.
Plan B was another hilarious and sexy rom com by Jana Aston. This was a story of two people with great chemistry who found themselves in an unexpected and life-altering situation. Daisy and Kyle were a great pairing and I loved their banter. The outrageous things that came out of Daisy’s mouth were so funny, as was Kyle’s reaction to them.
“What are you doing?”
“Brushing my teeth. I’m using your toothbrush. I didn’t think you’d mind since you’ve already infected me with your DNA.”
“Pregnancy hormones are no joke. Also I’m a bit of a slut so I should stop blaming the pregnancy for everything.”
“My husband is a filthy pervert. I didn’t even know he had handkerchiefs. Who the hell still carries around a handkerchief? No one under sixty, right? I’m into it though. Big time.”
This author is so good at creating stories filled with both humor and emotion. I loved how laid back and real Daisy was, and the way she and Kyle meshed with their different personalities was really enjoyable. The length of this book was perfect, as was the pace. I could have done without the cliched ex-girlfriend drama, but it was thankfully resolved in a satisfying way. I loved the way things wrapped up for Kyle and Daisy. I really loved the epilogue as well. All in all this was another great story by Jana Aston.
Another hilariously funny and hugely enjoyable read from Jana Aston. This is book 2 in the ‘Best Laid Plans’ series and follows the story of Daisy & Kyle. If you’ve read the first book, you’ll know a little bit more about the background of Daisy and Violet switching roles and see both sides of what went on. However this can be read as a standalone.
When Daisy finds out she’s pregnant following a one night stand, it turns out finding the father of the baby is going to be a lot more difficult than she though. No easy Facebook stalking for Daisy. When the ‘father’ turn out to be a super rich heir to the Kingston family business, Daisy needs to change her approach to getting hold of Kyle and doing the decent thing of simply letting him know he’s going to be a father. However when Kyle finally discovers this, he has totally different ideas and decides to lock Daisy down for good!
These two are complete opposites yet in every single way they work. I loved the characters that featured in this story… and of course Tubbs McGee!
This story is laugh out loud funny, with some of the best one-liners I have read in a while. If you want a light read that is sure to leave you grinning from ear to ear then this is the story for you. A must-read rom com!!
As always this author provides a great read. I chuckled my way through this one and loved every minute. This is the other side of the twins story (Violet’s was first in Sure Thing) and we finally get to see just what Daisy was up to during her time away. If you like or have cats then you will be sure to enjoy the side character of Tubbs-McGee which gave me extra smiles throughout the story. This is told mainly by Daisy with a few chapters told by Kyle. Highly recommend for a great summer read – but you really should read Sure Thing too (doesn’t have to be first but it is worth it!).
OMG! Everyone needs a Kyle in their life! He is so accepting of everything that Daisy hands him, and super patient too. He is definitely the yin to her yang.
A one night stand turns into a pregnancy, and so much more.
I really enjoyed the banter between the two of them. Also, look out for appearances of previous characters. Another super smart and funny read!
Move over Gabe Laurent, there’s a new book boyfriend in town and his name is Kyle Kingston! Gah!!! I loved this book so much. It’s definitely a favorite of mine from Jana Aston. It’s chock-full of laughs and steam and swoons and wit. Daisy and Kyle are trying to navigate this new normal and it’s perfection. It’s so real and refreshing. This is book 2 in a series but it can be read as a stand-alone. This is a must read!!!
OMG, Jana does it again. The marvelous combination of just enough angst, wonderfully developed characters, lust, love, sizzling hot sex and so many laughs. Do not read this book at work but definitely read this book. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and it is one of the best I’ve read this year.
