“This book is so creepy. I made the mistake of starting in one night before bed. Not only did the story line keep me turning pages, it freaked me out to the point that I didn’t want to turn off my light.”

“This one had me flipping pages until 2 in the morning. I knew when I saw the quote from James Rollins (one of my favorites) that I would get at least my money’s worth out of the book, but I had NO idea what laid in store for me.”

Overview:
Plain Jane: Brunettes Beware
A Patterson-style thriller with a dash of Hannibal…
A city paralyzed by a serial killer stalking the night, taking a most gruesome trophy.
The only standing in the murderer’s way is an FBI profiler…recently released from a mental institution.
Plain Jane combines the swift action of Patterson with the macabre of Harris.
Just remember to keep the lights on when reading this one!
More Praise for Plain Jane…
“When I read on the author’s blog that Plain Jane was a “Patterson-style thriller with a dash of Hannibal” I knew right away that I wanted to read it. I was not disappointed and in my honest opinion this book is incredible!”
A. Harris
“Right out of the gate this book creeped me out. Being a brunette myself, the title alone was enough to scare me! This was a seriously good book. Words like unhinged, grotesque, shocking, intriguing, and macabre were spinning through my head as I read the stunning and suspenseful pages.”

This is a great mystery thriller. A profiler hunting a serial killer who is hunting brunettes. What I liked is all the twists and turns this story takes. You are never sure what is going to happen next. The suspense keeps you going until the end delivers the shocking truth. A great book for those who enjoy this genre.
One of the best thrillers I’ve read this year. The twisty turns and in your face chill factor was Dexter times ten. More please.
I absolutely loved this novel, I couldn’t put it down! I’ve read that some didn’t like that they would say detective in one sentence the his name the next, but make perfect sense to me! Read all th hembinger series!
I thought it would be better than it was. Ending kind of stupid.
Had some characters you loved to hate. I enjoyed reading because there were things in the story line that were predictable but they all had some shocking twists
I finally finished this book, only because I was moving. This book kept me reading once I was able to sit down and read it in its entirety. The main characters worked well together and the author put just enough into each of them that you knew there was something else “going on” between the 3 characters.
***SPOILER ALERT***
If you have issues …
Not bad. Somewhat predictable. The profiler is totally obsessed with the case/living inside the mind of the serial killer.
Kept my intetest.
I really like this book kind of gross but still enjoyed definitely will read more of this series
Interesting, but became ridiculous toward the end.
At first it is hard to get into the number of people and what they do, but all of a sudden it grabs you and you can’t put the book down. It is quite a thriller, and I never would have guessed the ending as to who the plain jane killer was.
Great until the very end which was too over the top to be very satisfying.
Too much devotion to a flawed character and a wimpy heroine and a weak second love interest. I read it just to say I finished it.
I was taught that if you don’t have anything nice to say; don’t say anything at all.
Honestly, I don’t have ANYTHING to say about this book.
This is a page turner. Was up most of the night reading it.Judt couldn’t put it down.
This was a very entertaining book
