Some triggers in this book, Sabrina has survived an abusive boyfriend but he’s in prison and his MC expects her to pay off his debt. Sabrina isn’t only afraid for her own safety but that of her young daughter, luckily for her she rents from a man who can help protect her. Liam returns to a life he didn’t want so he can protect Sabrina and her daughter. Liam and Sabrina have chemistry together, but they also have issues of trust, betrayal and fear to sort through. This is my first time reading this author and I enjoyed reading this, it’s interesting, fast-paced with lots of action.

This was a really good book! Sabrina is trying to start her life over after getting out of an abusive relationship. With her daughter in tow she moves to a new city. Liam her neighbor and landlord is everything she thinks she doesn’t want in a man. Liam is drawn to his Sabrina and he wants to protect and take care of her and her daughter Vivi. Sabrina is fearful of getting involved with a man associated with an MC because of her ex but Liam shows her he is the man for her. I enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it.

She ain’t plain and he ain’t (all) bad
Plain Jane in this novel is actually Sabrina, the single mom and former Old Lacy of the Dragons MC boss. She’s one of those women whose beauty is in her being, not in her looks. She’s down and out, running for her life, running on empty, and can’t catch a break – until fate shoves her into Liam’s path. Liam is ex-Army (Afghanistan) and the estranged son of the Mayhem MC’s Prez. Nothing but bad blood between them since Liam left the criminal MC world for the Army, and then his own business flipping real estate. But Sabrina’s fear tugs at his heartstrings, and her prickly independence slams his libido into overdrive. Her baby, Vivi, is the key that locks his heart down. He wants her, her baby, maybe a few more, and forever. But family ties are binding; his father’s old MC reaches back into his life, and their rival, the Dragon’s MC, targets Sabrina and Vivi for revenge against their traitor boss, Sabrina’s ex. This story has suspense and action in equal parts, but the real kicker is the fabulous characters – especially the unforgettable Sabrina. I’ve never read a romance that had me simultaneously in tears over the plight of the heroine, and in awe of her sheer strength of will. No wonder Liam loves her, fights for her, protects her, and refuses to live without her. So, in the end, the bad boy – Liam, gets his just desserts, the indomitable Sabrina, and a daughter to treasure. Take that, Barbie wanna-bees; Plain Jane wins!

Sabrina and her baby on the run from her ex and his motorcycle gang had finally found a place to hide. Her neighbor Liam had ties to the rival motorcycle gang. Wanting to stay away from him but slowly falling in love was hard for Sabrina. They had to fight to be together and he had to fight to keep them safe. Great story full of action and really good characters.

Liam and Sabrina come from enemy MC’s who are in the middle of a turf war. Liam’s father is the Mayhem MC President and Sabrina’s baby daddy is the former treasurer of the Black Dragons MC. Both are trying to stay out of the MC life he’s ex-Army and she moved out of the Black Dragons territory with her daughter. I loved Liam for Sabrina and how protective he was over her and her daughter. Well developed characters, great writing and a great ending make this an entertaining read.
Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Sabrina was being abused by her fiancee so with her daughter they left and her ex was put in jail. Liam lives next door and rented Sabrinahis house next door.

Sabrina has gone into hiding with her infant daughter. Her ex is in prison, his motorcycle club wants back what he stole from them, and they think she knows something. A women’s shelter is helping her get back on her feet, and she rents a house from Liam. His father is president of a different motorcycle club, but that’s a lifestyle that Liam never wanted. He did a stint in the Army, then came home to venture into real estate and flipping properties. He tries to be a good guy and help her out, but she fights him at every turn. Eventually, she realizes that she has to trust him with her secret, but doesn’t know how to let him know. This book has it all – a confirmed bachelor, a hard-working single mother, romance, action, suspense – and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. This is my first book from this author – looking forward to more in this series.

This was a good read and I didn’t want to put it down. The characters felt real and the story was paced well. I am going to keep my eye for future books in this series and just from this author period.
This is book two in the Plain Jane series, but a complete stand along. The story of Sabrina is the story of a broken survivor. She is so real and heartbreaking. She manages to get back up everyday and fight for a better future. The romance starts slow, Liam reaches out to help by being a decent person when Sabrina is at her lowest point. The action and suspense is exceptional engaging. Can’t wait for book 3.

This is a well written book with strong characters in Sabrina and Liam. The author does a fantastic job developing the story and pulling you in with all the intrigue and suspense a well as the growing romance. She does a great job weaving a realistic story with her descriptive writing and vividly painted scenes. I loved little Vivi, she’s so adorable. The supporting characters help to bring the story around. I loved and highly recommend reading this book.

Sabrina Wilkins was caught up in a game of cat and mouse at the age of nineteen. She met what she thought was Prince charming but ended up with the devil seeds. Her fiancé and former treasurer of the Black Dragons MC, Vincent Geraldie was sent to prison leaving her with a baby and threats from the Black Dragons. Sabrina is leaving her painful past behind to start a new life far away from the bikers lifestyle. She rented a house only to discover her landlord and new neighbor Liam, is the son of the Mayhem MC president. She remembered Liam because Mayhem MC is the enemy of the Black Dragons MC with ongoing turf wars.
Liam Callahan is an ex military now real estate developer notices his new stubborn tenant struggling with a baby. He is hell bent on showing Sabrina that someone really cares and all men are not out for one thing as her ex. He wants her to trust others and believe in herself. These two butt heads and the sparks fly, but she continues to withhold important information from Liam.
The tale of secrets, betrayal and love all have a way of making life chaos and when Sabrina finally confesses the secrets, a new twist is added to the disturbing event. This is a totally fast moving story about two people who fall into each other and needed to accept the differences in their life.

4 1/2 Stars! Book two of the Plain Jane series. Completely stand-alone full length with HEA. I loved this book! The characters are all well developed with interesting back stories. It is not insta-love, their relationship took a lot of time and trust. I loved the epilogue and didn’t want the book to end!
