Computer hacker, Lorcan, is finishing the last spy job so that he could come home and propose to his childhood sweet heart. Unfortunately, the job goes wrong and he is trapped in a magical world underneath the deep sea where mer-creatures hunt for a secret key they think he has stolen. Pisces – Silver Blood Collection – is the prequel of Merworld Trilogy.
Pisces – Crossworld Creatures by D.N. Leo is a very awesome story that I have read. I loved reading this story very much cause I love reading about mermaids and how they interact with others. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about mermaids, mysteries and fantasy.

Love this prequel! Great way to introduce us to the Merworld! Great world building, love the pace, and exciting characters, plus action-packed! Love, love, love. Gives great background on the entire beginning to Merworld Trilogy, so an excellent read, and a great resource to how it all gets started and everything comes together. Neat way to bring Lorcan into Faye and Kai’s world, while giving us some background on all of them. Very interesting!! Definitely a must-read. Still great after reading the Trilogy as well…

As always, this author gives us a well-written story of the Merworld and the creatures at home there. Humans, supernaturals, and beings from every dimension want the Key of Pisces. The spy game has begun, and Lorcan has accepted this as his last job before proposing to his childhood sweetheart, Orla. He thought it would be a simple task, expecting to easily talk his way out of any problems, but not only does he face communication issues, but traitors are everywhere. When the job goes wrong, Lorcan is trapped in the magical world underneath the sea with mer-creatures hunting for the secret key they believe he has stolen.
The author’s stories are wonderfully written with scenes described so well the readers will feel they are right there under the waves. The story line flows along at a comfortable pace as we wonder how Lorcan will ever get out of this mess. Grab your copy and meet many of the characters you have either already seen or will see as you move throughout the Multiverse.
The story line was good, the character work was fantastic and the book had a fairly smooth flow to it. This was a great prequel to the Multiverse that this author has given us.

Again, I am amazed by D. N. Leo’s imagination and ability to link all her novels to the multi-verse. This was no exception. Wonderfully written that brings the words to real life as if I can see for myself and a great storyline that is easily read. Once I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down, which is what happens when I pick up any of her books.
If you haven’t read any of the Multiverse books, this PG15 prequel will introduce you to Lorcan, Faye, Kai, Orca, and the Shaman of Black Mountain, all in only one morning. If you have read some of the books, this will give you some of the backstories.

This was a powerful story, hooked into the “ecology” of DN Leo’s multiverse books but standing on its own merits. Truly strong characters, a new view and continuation of a great world-building achievement and a adrenaline hitting plot with a great romantic element. Hard to believe this is just the prequel. I’m looking forward to the follow-one. Highly recommended.

The Power of Love
Silver Blood shows up in the oddest of places! This transdimensional undersea world interfaces with the human world and various injuries repeatedly reduce various heroes to the brink of death. With recent discoveries of the permanence of brain trauma, I envy none of these characters their old age! There are some time loops here, too. Narrator Catherine Edwards has fun playing with accents and voices to represent the many worlds at play.
