It’s a time for searching, and a time for finding, Pisces: keep casting your line and you will hook what you’re looking for.Zane has it all planned out: land the perfect Meet Cute, fall in love, and live happily ever after.Should be simple enough if he put his mind to it. A little creativity and some thinking outside of the box, and voila, he’d be married to the woman of his dreams. It would be … dreams.
It would be perfect.
And it would be before his visa ran out.
But why are his feelings running wild now that the pressure’s on? Why is his picture-perfect plan turning into a muddled mess of morphed metaphors he can’t make sense of anymore?
Just as well he’s met an English professor to help. And even though their first meet is anything but cute, this down-to-earth teacher may just be the realist Zane needs to ground him and give him a shot at love after all.
Don’t cast your line too wide, Pisces. Your perfect catch may already have bitten.

Weak: this is the weakest book of the saga, even though is still a great one. But the characters are not as good as in previous stories and much more time must be invested to like them. I was used to an insta-love situation with Anyta’s characters. That didn’t happen this time. It also lacks a bit in the humor and banter department.
Sweet: by now that is a given. It may take a while to like the characters, but the sweetness among them is undeniable. It warms the coldest of hearts in the hardest of winters.
Great cover: yeah… that’s Zane!!
I love Anyta Sunday’s writing style.
Part of her Signs of Love series, Anyta Sunday delivers another fantastic slow-burn romance with Pisces Hooks Taurus. Funny, sweet, charming, and sexy, this friends to lovers story has everything I need. When I’m in the mood to be incredibly happy I know it’s time to reach for an Anyta Sunday novel. All the books in this engaging series are fantastic, and they can each be read as standalones.
A firm believer in love at first sight, Zane is sure this is how he’ll find a wife. Determined to stay in the U.S. to be near his family, Zane embarks on a series of dates. Anyta Sunday’s wonderful sense of humor shines as she takes us through these courtship fiascoes! Zane’s an incurable romantic and I couldn’t help but fall in love with his optimistic outlook.
After having his heart crushed by his lifelong sweetheart, Beckett is bitter and disillusioned. He’s sworn off love, believing it’s all a big lie, and focuses on his friends and his career instead.
When Zane’s couchsurfing lands him at Beckett’s house, neither one of them can deny the chemistry. While Beckett recognizes their attraction for what it is, Zane remains happily clueless and puts all his energy into wooing Beckett with the perfect bromance.
Zane’s gradual realization that he’s attracted to Beckett is absolutely charming. Likewise, watching Beckett’s hardened heart melt as he accepts the reality that he’s found love again is wonderful. These two are perfect for each other, and I smiled the whole way through this book.
What I enjoy most about Pisces Hooks Taurus is the way Zane figures out that he’s in love with a man. It takes him awhile to recognize his sexual response to Beckett for what it is, and it’s funny to see him put it all together. As their bromance becomes more and more intimate, and the emotion begins to flow between the two, I swear I could actually see them fall in love. In the end, when Zane embraces it all, it is soooo worth the wait!
Zane and Beckett’s story is a thoroughly enjoyable must-read for fans of slow-burn romances. If you’ve enjoyed the other Signs of Love books Pisces Hooks Taurus is the perfect compliment to the series, and if you haven’t tried an Anyta Sunday romance yet, I can’t think of a better place to start.
I loved this book. I tend to hesitate reading slow burn books except with this author. They are always written beautifully. This book was no exception. I could not put it down. You’ll love this journey to love with Beckett and Zane (written in Zane’s point of view).
What a delightful love story! Filled with innuendo and lots of moments that make you stop and say, Did he really just say that?! This author’s books always keep a smile on my face, even as I shed a few tears. Though Zane and and Beckett may disagree whether it classifies as love at first sight or a slow burn, the end result is the same- a super swoony, happy ever after. This just might be my fave. I don’t know, I’ve kind of felt like that with each book in the series, but Pisces Hooks Taurus was SO GOOD. Cute and funny, with that delicious tension that comes with a slow building desire they are holding in. I loved every minute of it.
An absolute gem of a story. It was a delight to read. I had so much fun with Zane and Beckett. Their quips and puns were hilarious. I was grinning from ear to ear the entire time. The writing of this fascinating and hugely entertaining story is superb. I was reeled in, hook, line, and sinker.
As always, Anyta Sunday takes the reader on a slow-burn romance or, in this case, bromance, but where the bromance ended and the romance began, I have no idea. It was one fluid journey of getting together.
I love all the books in the Signs of Love series, but I think this is by far my favorite. There was just something about Zane and Beckett that tugged at my heartstrings. I fell in love with Zane and his Becky. The chemistry between these two men is tangible from the very first till the last page. Although it took a little while for Zane to catch on. He is quite self-conscious about his place in the world. Coming from a family with mere geniuses, he finds it difficult to find his niche as an up-and-coming artist. Still, he teases and challenges Beckett with his street smart. Beckett, like the sweetheart he is, accepts Zane just like he is, never flaunting his being a professor in his face. As individuals, they are adorable, but together they are just divine.
This is the fourth book in the Signs of Love series but can be read as a standalone.
