** spoiler alert ** Pipe never believed he would be one to settle down. Nikki ran when lines got crossed. He is determined to win her back. Will Nikki allow Pipe back in? Will Pipe be able to keep her safe?
Like with any Winter Travers’ book I have read, this one sucked me right in. I loved the fact that once Pipe put his mind to it, he wasnt going to give her up. I didn’t blame Nikki for being scared, but was happy when she acknowledged that she was going to give him a chance. This book had the right amount of romance, steam and drama to keep me interested throughout!
Another great story from Winter Travers. Pipe and Nikki had great chemistry. They were a little explosive but they brought out something in each other that was undeniably adorable. Nikki did jump the gun a little, picturing a life with Pipe after one steamy night together. As for Pipe, he is a biker, a man and clueless. He is doing what he always does. She runs, he follows and the angst begins. I am never disappointed in any of Winter Travers’ books, they capture your attention, grip on to you and take you on an amazing journey
Completely loving these two. Pipe and Nikki have a great back and forth, that bit of stubborn attitude and spark. I love all the characters in these stories because they are unique with their personalities and quirks. This is a great book in the great series and I am excited for more!
So I didnt connect as well with these characters as I did with the characters from the first book. I still read the whole book because the writing technique and story line development are intriguing and kept me interested ( just not a I cant out this book down kind of interested). I would suggest reading this series if you enjoy lighter MC series. ( and check out the authors other series as well)
Loved the series. Purchased next several in the series.
Pie is a sweetheart. I loved it as much as Nickel.
to slow
So repetitive, juvenile and cliche!!
Let me sum up this book for you.
Nikki and Pipe.
Nikki ran away because she walked in on the guy she slept with once with another chick. He nade no promises but it still broke her heart and she moved to another town overnight. They get back together but from beginning to end you’ll read this: sugar, cigarette, I wish I was the cigarette in his mouth, cow onesies, I put a cigarette in my mouth and lit it, he slept with another girl, you are the only guy who can make me swoon by saying something that is so stupid I can’t remember (I can’t remember ), your friends are crazy, dick, church and Richard. Just a bunch of nonsense put together that turned out to be one of the most cliche and immature stories. The End!! Needed editing!!
I can honestly say I never thought I’d be a fan of M.C. stories but count me in. Alpha males nearly always rescues a needy female with long-term relationship as his reward.
Biker romance, tried to be funny but missed the mark.
As book 2 in the series, I enjoyed book 1, Nickle. Book 2, Pipe, took place right where book 1 ended. Glad of the continuation of the story. Would recomend these books to any adult reader.
In Pipe we get Pipe and Nikki’s story. Lets just say their story does not start all mushy and gushy. Pipe being the typical biker enjoys variety when it comes to his private life. The problem is as you will learn there is something about Nikki that he just can’t shake. Too bad for him Nikki has not 1 problem shaking Pipe.
There is some of the MC in this book, but not a whole lot. This book revolves mainly around Pipe and how he is going to get Nikki back. With this being said there are things that happen and are happening that we get introduced to another character. We also get a little bit more intel on the issue the club is trying to resolve.
I am looking forward to seeing what is going to happen next with the men of the Fallen Lords MC.
Read: 3/17/18
Pipe was the second book in Winter Travers Fallen Lords MC.
Pipe and Nikki hooked up in the first book, Nickel. Nikki was Karmen’s best friend and Pipe was Nickel’s MC brother. The hookup meant more to Nikki than it did Pipe and Nikki moved to a town an hour away to get away from Pipe. The book opened with Karmen finally able to track down her best friend.
I really wasn’t a fan of Pipe. He was a total idiot, so the story wasn’t working well for me in the beginning. Pipe did grow on me as he began to get some brain cells and the story progressed. I love alpha bikers so once they get their act together I’m usually on board. The beginning probably merited a 3 or 3.5 for me, but I enjoyed the latter half so it bumped it to a 4. The editing errors were disappointing so it dropped it down to a 3.5 again but this review site rounded it up to a 4 again.
The storyline focused on the relationship development but Travers also had secondary themes running – one of which was a carry over from the previous book, without additional explanation, so reading the series in order was vital.
True to form for the series, Travers had the “crazy” persona down with the supporting female characters. They added humor and dimension to the plot. Travers also added a mystery and suspenseful element – not necessarily a surprise ending but an eventful one none the less.
Lastly, Travers provided a huge teaser for Maniac so I’m assuming we will get his story next. Either way, Travers has provided great drama and personality within the MC so whatever direction Travers leads us is good for me!
Nikki does not seem the same feisty smart mouthed person she was in Nickel. I am happy to say throughout the story Nikki got that sass back and I loved it.
I am loving that Pipe is hooked on Nikki but the fact he is so confused about it is also quite amusing. Pipe is so overprotective about her and I love it. I also love how much he’s willing to help the club and how much you can tell he loves it and that he just wants to help Wrecker.
I really love that Pipe is trying to woo Nikki and that Nikki is finally giving him the opportunity to do so! I also loved the connection that the two characters had.
I really like Alice a nice little edition to this cast of characters she’s hilarious. I also loved seeing Karmen and Nickel so much in this book! We also got a nice introduction to Wren I cannot wait for her story. Also it seemed we got more of Wrecker in this book and I also loved learning more about him. I also love Cora.
I really enjoyed the plot, there were a few sides of it, the Jensen thing that was running since Nickel (trying and probably failing to not spoil), also the subplot that is coming in about Wren. I also enjoyed not only Nikki and Pipe falling in love but their plot of the stalker Nikki manages to gain for herself.
I am really getting hooked to this series and I’m honestly not that mad about it. I really enjoy the writing and just how easy it is to get lost within these characters and this world. I love the characters, plot and story.
So happy that Pipe goes after Nikki! After how the last book ended where you could tell that although the two had feelings for each other, they weren’t necessarily ready to acknowledge them and I wasn’t sure how long we would wait until their story! Nikki is someone that most girls can relate to, especially in needing to get away at least for a period of time to get their thoughts together. Thanks to Pipe’s MC brothers and Karmen, he is able to understand Nikki’s actions and from there take the best course of action to get her back. I loved the secondary character of Alice; she was an absolute hoot and I hope we hear more from her! I also love the suspense of this story. While it was pretty obvious who it was that was after Nikki, I enjoyed that aspect of the story in addition to the romance. Great series thus far and can’t wait to see where it goes!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

When Nikki attempts to be brave and tell Pipe she wants a relationship, she finds herself in an embarrassing situation and instead of telling Pipe how she feels, she leaves town, running to an hour away and the sleepy town of Kales Corner.
Pipe hasn’t been the same since Nikki left. He refuses to admit the possibility that she may have left because of him but, internally he hopes that isn’t the case as she has made him see things in a whole new light. When Karmen tells him she has found Nikki, he decides it’s time to stop being a player, and instead make a play for the one girl he can’t get out of his head. Will it be too late though, I mean she did move an hour away after all?!
I really enjoyed this story. I liked book one, Nickel, but I think I enjoyed this one even more. I liked meeting Alice, Nikki’s kooky new, cow onesie wearing friend in Kales Corner and I hope we see more of her, maybe even getting her to move to Reston as well. I’m looking forward to book 3 though and Maniac & Wren’s story. I give Pipe 4.5 stars.

(4 stars)
Nikki and Pipe had a night, and just as Nikki was thinking that maybe she should give Pipe a chance, she realizes that it was just her that was thinking about more. So she leaves, runs where she doesn’t have to face him, and pretty much starts over. Pipe has no clue why Nikki ghosted the way she did, but it wasn’t until after she left that he realized that he wanted more and for Pipe that’s not his usual MO when it comes to women. When Karmen finds Nikki, and drags Pipe and Nickel to surprise her, things get interesting. With Nikki pushing Pipe away at every turn, and Pipe making it known that he will have Nikki. Who will win this test of wills?
Winter Travers can write some hilarious bits that have you laughing like a loon. This is book two in the series, and I do recommend that you read book one before diving into this one. With some funny bits from some really funny side characters, some steamy sexy times, and a bit of danger, I give this 4 stars.
I gave this Book a rating of 5 ’s

In this one Pipe and Nikki bond over their lives and the club. Interesting storyline and awesome characters make this one a book you cant put down
Absolutely love this series! Can’t wait for more of the Fallen Lords MC
Pipe is a totally clueless guy when it comes to feelings. When he saw his friend/brother in the MC Nickel find Karmen, a woman he couldn’t live without, he couldn’t understand it. Why settle down with one woman? He did like flirting with Nikki, Karmen’s best friend. Then one night the flirting lead to a hot night together. In the morning, he knew something had changed, he just didn’t want to face it. She showed up at his door and he answered with another woman there. Nikki took off and before he knew it, she had left town. How can he have caught feelings for one woman and how is he going to get her back?
Omgosh, I thought Nickel was the bomb and nothing to top it but I am glad to be wrong. Pipe is an awesome guy once he pulls his head out of an orifice. Nikki and how she felt about Pipe and the situation between them made my heart hurt. They fit so perfectly together and I loved them so much! Alice, a secondary character that I am pretty sure is going to get her own book soon is an absolute scream! Winter Travers is amazing and I now have to own her entire back list. 5 stars for Pipe!
