Born into chaos. Baptized in the gutter. I was raised by the violent laws of the streets, spilling blood without the hindrance of useless emotions or connections. Unfeeling. Unloved. Alone. My life was perfect.Until her. While on a manhunt for a mysterious enemy, one hellbent on taking both my business and my life, I find Mickey. She’s covered in mud, rambling nonsense, and clearly out of her … nonsense, and clearly out of her mind.
She’s also a distraction I don’t need.
That is until I discover a connection between the girl and my enemy.
Mickey isn’t a distraction anymore.
She’s the perfect weapon.
One I’ll use to exact my revenge.
The plan is an easy one, but there’s something about Mickey that’s making it more and more difficult.
A familiarity I can’t place. A need I can’t explain.
A want I have to deny.
After all, she’s not mine to keep. She’s a tool. My pawn.
My sacrifice.

The first of a duet set in a familiar town with a few familiar faces, but a whole new story to get lost in. The relationship between Pike and Mickey nebulous to say the least. Both trying to figure the other out, animosity that shifts somewhere along the way no matter how hard they try to fight it. The more we learn the more we realize they are more alike than either would like to admit.
Fast paced and twisted, some burning questions answered, others hinted and teased at. Just when we think we’re all on the same page, this author throws us for a loop. The groundwork has been laid, the stage is set. Everything we’ve read so far is preparing us for what’s to come in book 2, Pawn.
I’m a huge fan of T.M. Frazier’s writing style and she absolutely NAILED it with this book!! Pike (The Pawn Duet #1) was freaking outstanding and had me on the edge of my seat with its intense, angsty and creative storyline. My attention was captured immediately from beginning to end. And just when I thought I knew where the storyline was heading, BAM, here comes the jaw dropping surprises and plot twists. Pike is definitely one of my new favorite TM Frazier anti-heroes. He appealed to me with his dark, brooding, I will fuck you up attitude which came across as irresistible and sexy as hell. Michaela aka Mickey was an unassuming genius and bad ass in her own right who had many layers to her. And the love/hate relationship and sexual tension between them was palpable. I cannot WAIT to see what’s in store for these two in Pawn.
Pike is book one in the Pawn Duet. I loved this and could not put it down!! If you read Nine, then you met the delicious and sexy alpha Pike!! Mickey was just an awesome girl. The sexual tension between these two were scorching. I loved the secondary characters and of course the cameos from some of my favorite residents of Logans Beach!! I am dying to read book two!!!
What a brillant start to a duet.
Love how this author seamlessly ties her different storylines together so that timelines match up from other couples stories.
P & M…. wow what a couple. Once they start working together they are going to be unstoppable.
Loved the cameos of some firm favourites throughout.
Can’t wait to see what happens in 2nd book
Wow! TM Frazier has done it again. All the twist and turns will grab you from beginning to end. The banter and chemistry between Pike and Mickey keeps you turning the page and the ending will have you begging for more. This storyline will make you laugh with a cameo appearance and keep you guessing. Can’t wait to read the conclusion to this duet.
Welcome to Frazierland and come meet the bad boys of Logan’s Beach. Pike by T.M. Frazier is her latest book and is book one of the Pawn duets. There are some returning cast of characters that you might be familiar with and if not, just reading snippets about them in Pike will make you want to go back and read the other standalone books that they are in. Frazier has her own style of writing that I have a hard time explaining. This book is easy to read yet gives you all the details without being boring, it’s hot and steamy without being over the top smutty, and it has some really funny characters that make the very dark and serious situations a more tolerable. I have loved Frazier’s books since the first one I picked up and always, ALWAYS, recommend them to anyone who will listen. Pike is just another example of her exemplary writing and her imagination. 5-stars for Pike by T.M. Frazier.
Pike finds a disheveled girl walking along side the road and tries to help. When masked gunmen come to take her, she leaves with them and he never sees her again. Mickey has a plan, one that will avenge her family and take down the group that is responsible for her being alone in the world. Mickey can’t trust the old saying of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” and put her faith in Pike. Pike wants answers that Mickey won’t give him, and time is running out before all hell breaks loose on the sleepy little town of Logan’s Beach.
Blow me outta the water will you! If you’ve read Nine then you’ll remember Pike, if not well what are you waiting for?! These books are paper gold!!! Pike is Nine’s roommate and does some illegal selling on the side of managing his Pawn shop. He is an outlaw…an outcast and Logan’s Beach is the perfect place for him to call home. One shipment of a certain product might be a problem though. When he helps a girl named Michalea “Mickey”, never did he think everything he knew would be turned upside down. He met her four years prior but now she resurfaced and things are about to get interesting. Mickey has a photographic memory but one day pieces are missing and she cannot figure out why. Can Pike help her while trying to figure out the truth? Who is she and what is the truth of her identity? I’m in awe how these books are brought to life from the pages. I need book two now! Pike is yumminess wrapped in tattoos! This is one wild ride with many twists you won’t see coming and many laughs as always. I Love the cameos from our favorites too! Told in dual POV and ends on a major cliffhanger as this is book one of the pawn duet.
