I tore through the pages in this, and now I’m honestly wondering what to do with myself until the next one in the series comes out. I will admit, I was nervous starting this because all you have to do is read the blurb about memory loss and you can feel the tears starting. But whilst it is painfully sad, it also has a good mix of sweetness and humour to make you smile.
I usually prefer dual POV but getting the story from Dallas doesn’t take anything away from conveying their uncertainty and fear. You can really feel the pain they both go through and it’s absolutely heartbreaking. The unwavering support and love that Dallas had for Justin is so beautiful it hurts, and yet creates an air of hopefulness. As does the courage and determination that Justin works to hold on to. It really makes you believe in these two, in the fact that they’re soulmates and are meant for each other no matter what obstacles come their way. Cannot wait for more of their journey!
All I can say is, before you begin reading this beautiful, powerful, poignant, raw, intense, amazing, fantastic, emotionally charged, heartbreaking yet hopeful, grab-you-by-the-feels, and totally awesome story, be sure to stock up on tissues, food, and drink, then clear your calendar, lock the door, and turn off your phone because once you start, you won’t be able to put it down!!

Honestly, I was unsure if this would be a book I would like, the author is a one-click for me.
I was honestly mistaken, I more than liked this book, I loved this book.
I needed tissues at the start, there was some seriously ugly crying happening. My heart broke for Jussy and Dallas.
Dallas was such a strong character, what he had to go through, I couldn’t even imagine the heartbreak of somebody you love more than life itself just didn’t remember you one day.
Missing Pieces is an addictive new series from the fabulous NR Walker.
Pieces of You introduces us to Dallas and Justin, live-in boyfriends.
Justin is involved in a motor vehicle accident and now suffers from retrograde amnesia – he does not remember the last 5 years of his life.
The kicker is, Dallas and Justin met 4 years ago.
To Justin, Dallas is just a handsome stranger who has been by his side day and night helping any way he can with his recovery. Dallas is saddened that Justin doesn’t remember him, however, he loves Justin and has promised forever with him.
Pieces of You is a beautifully written story set in Newcastle, Australia.
Dallas is THE PERFECT boyfriend. He is a mountain of strength for Justin. His commitment and love are unwavering.
My heart broke for Justin as he dealt with the effects of his amnesia. Even though he has so much to deal with, he wanted so much to remember Dallas. We get to see glimpses of their past connection, in light banter and soft touches between them.
Although this is only book 1 in the series, it does not end in a cliffhanger. I am however looking forward to the next book as this series excites me. We get to witness Dallas and Justin make new memories and fall in love all over again.
Dallas and Justin have been together for 4 years. Their relationship has been full of love and hard work, and eventually they moved in together and adopted a cat Squish. One morning, Justin drives out for a work project and ends up getting hit by a truck in an intersection. Dallas receives the phone call and is devastated when he finds Justin broken and bruised lying in the hospital bed. It gets even worse when Justin opens his eyes and he has no memory of Justin, their relationship and the last 4 years of his life. Dallas is grief stricken, but Justin is the love of his life and he will do everything in his power to take care of the men, help him regain his memory and hopefully get him to fall in love all over again.
SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I enjoyed this, like other NR Walker books we get a story full of great characters, a driven plot and lots of emotion and sincerity. I am in love with Dallas, he is literally the greatest person. I love how supportive he is of Justin and his recovery. He is beside him the whole time, his support never wavering even though he knows Justin may never remember him. The only thing I wish we could have seen was more of the story in Justin’s POV. But, this novel was more on the shorter side so it does make a little bit more sense that it was mostly Dallas telling the story, because Justin’s POV would basically be a telling of how he struggles to remember things. I liked the snippets of Justin’s memory coming back but I really wanted him to remember Dallas. This novel reminded me of the movie The Vow. I liked it but I wish Justin could have remembered. I’m still happy that they ended up together.
As always with a book from this author, I grabbed a snack and settled in for the long haul. Wonderfully written characters and an emotionally fraught storyline that I had absolutely no problem reading straight through in one sitting. All in all a very enjoyable read.

I haven’t read the last few books by N.R. Walker because they just weren’t something I was in the mood for, so it was such a pleasure to get into this one. I would also recommend keeping a Kleenex on hand as this story will definitely make you feel. I didn’t shed any tears, but it was a close one for me. Dallas and Justin are going to tug on your heartstrings. I loved Dallas’s undying love and devotion to Justin, even though his heart was breaking at times. The trust that Justin has in Dallas is hard to describe because it’s so…. See, no words! This is book one of a three-book story, but it doesn’t end with a cliffhanger. It’s an HFN ending, which was done very nicely. I cannot wait to read more of Dallas and Justin’s story. It’s simply amazing and I highly recommend it!
Justin and Dallas are two men who have already built a history together, until one tragic moment changes everything.
And in the aftermath, Justin has to navigate his way through a new life. One he finds unfamiliar. Not only do I love reading this author, having watched a loved one go through memory loss due to a brain operation made this story in particular so very real to me.
These two men owned my heart from the first page. What I loved (and continue to love by this author) is that each character written is filled with hopes, dreams, flaws and beautiful, unique qualities – ones you can picture clear as a bell in your mind’s eye. The realness and genuine quality of each individual as well as their story is something that resonates with me as a reader.
My heart went out to Justin for all the mental, emotional and physical challenges he had to face. And it broke for Dallas. For not only seeing the man he loves endure so much pain and loss, but for having to mourn the loss of the man he’d once known.
Beautiful, poignant story.
If you enjoy a second chance romance whilst getting to know relateable characters with their own set of challenges, you will love this book.

Read it in one sitting! The story just sucked me in and I couldn’t put it down for a second.
The story is so heart-breaking, as an established couple, Dallas and Justin have a normal and quite perfect life, until one day a car accident almost kills Justin and leaves him with no memories of the past five years, and of Dallas.
This first book in the series is about the accident and the immediate follow up period: Justin waking up, not remembering anything and the first weeks in the hospital; Dallas never ending love and patience and support for the love of his life.
I won’t lie, i cried quite a bit, especially at the beginning, but there’s this feeling of hope throughout the book, that keeps you reading because you so want them to find each other again.
Except for the first chapter (the accident) and the last one, the book is told from Dallas’s POV so we get to experience all his love, and hope and heartbreak with him.
I really can’t wait for next month when we get to meet the guys again for the next part of their journey!
I already can tell that I am going to love this new series! Justin and Dallas’s story is exactly what I wanted in an amnesia romance. My heart broke for Justin but I just absolutely love Dallas and just all the love that he has. Seeing as these two fall in love again is just so beautiful. N.R. Walker has made such a story that is so beautiful and emotional that I just love. I can’t wait for the next book!
This is a story about how quickly life can change, and how two people choose to deal with the changes.
Justin and Dallas have a good life. They live together, work together as motorcycle mechanics, and have reached a happy, contented place in their lives. When tragedy strikes in a car accident and amnesia for Justin, he loses his memory of the last five years of his life, which is all of his time with Dallas. He remembers his sister, his not so happy life pre Dallas, but has no memory of the happiest parts of his life and the man who was at his side.
This is a slow burn romance in a way. We know they loved, Dallas still does, but can they move forward together into a ‘new’ love? It is equally heartbreaking, and heart warming to be a part of their struggle to reach a new normal. Dallas’ love is patient and steady, trying to give Justin a foundation to recover. There is no question that he loves, and will do whatever it takes to support Justin. Justin struggles with his injuries, his memory, and the man that shows up every day to be with him. A man he does not know…
This is a difficult story to tell, but Ms. Walker does a beautiful job of navigating the hard parts with a sense of hope. Dallas’ steadfast love is shown without theatrics, but his commitment to Justin shines through. This is a grown up love story. Life is not always smooth, sometimes you just have to hold tight and pray. This story is a beautiful, thoughtfully written example of that.
If I have a criticism, it would be that I would have liked a bit more time with them in the beginning, before the accident. For me it would have helped me understand their bond a little better. But this is truly a minor criticism.. There is a HFN ending which is just perfect, and I understand there will be two more books in this series. I cannot wait to read them.
I received an ARC of this story, but it makes absolutely no difference to how I feel about this book. Do yourself a favor and read this book, I think you will love it as much as I did.

This story is all about the feels and I couldn’t get enough. I devoured this book and then went back an immediately reread it. I was captivated by the devotion of Dallas. The pure, unselfish love he has for his partner Justin is beautiful. As he says, “”Years ago, I made a promise to you to be by your side through whatever life threw at us. I know you don’t remember, but you don’t have to. Because I remember. And I’ll be by your side for as long as you’ll have me.”
That is the true definition of love. Pieces of You is truly about love and devotion. Putting those feelings into action when it’s most needed. This story is full of hope and determination. Justin has a long road ahead of him, but he will not be travelling it alone. I can’t wait for the next installment of this amazing story.
I couldn’t put it down!
Missing Pieces is a fantastic story where one of the MCs was in a horrible accident and loses five years’ worth of memories. He doesn’t remember his partner because their relationship began less than five years ago.
Dallas owns the motorcycle shop where Justin works. They are attracted to each other nearly from the beginning and eventually the become romantic partners. Dallas is the kind of partner everyone would love to have. He’s so in love with Justin; he’s going to do whatever it takes to see that he is cared for and achieves the best recovery from his injuries possible. It was so hard for Dallas to face the fact that Justin doesn’t remember him but he is determined that they will make new memories together if Justin is willing.
The scenes at the hospital will probably be difficult for anyone who has suffered from major trauma, or has a loved one who has. The attention to detail is great and the author’s words flow smoothly on the page. I read this book straight through because I was so captivated by it.
This story really broke my heart in places but by the end I was very happy with how things worked out. There is no cliffhanger but I understand from the author that there will be two more books in this series about Dallas and Justin. I’m really looking forward to reading them.
A copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.

Beautiful and heart breaking and so hopeful. This book totally sucked me in and I finished this in one sitting. Written from Dallas’s POV, this is the first book in the trilogy with a continuing storyline.
Dallas is such a strong character and I love how he supported Justin so much even when he was hurting. And I love Justin’s determination and his will to fight. There are some heart breaking moments but also hopeful ones. I mean Justin can watch Game of Thrones for the first time!!!
Obviously there’s no sex in this book but the feels are just stabbing me. You can feel how much Dallas loves him in every single moment. I can’t wait to read the next book. The ending is NOT a cliffhanger so you can definitely go ahead and read this one!
