This book left me in awe. It is written with such sensitivity and awareness of the emotion of each character. I have been there and lived that. It is truly a captivating story of love and domestic abuse.
Enjoyed the book. It shows you can’t judge anything by what you see.
Love Jodi Picoult. Have never been disappointed.
The story is good but I did NOT like them taking God’s name in vain and they did it alot.
Well written. Broadened the way I thought of domestic violence
Not as good as most of her stuff….a bit unrealistic
I really liked the story line. I recommended it to my book club to read. One of her best works.
I enjoy Jodi Picoult style of writing. This book was very insightful about spousal abuse and why people stay in relationships.
It certainly was true to life situations.
Love anything by Jodi Picoult.
Indeed not one of my favorite Jodi Picoults. Not a believable plot.
Another story about a beaten wife, but with a better ending
Usually really like the authors books but could not get into this one
I usually like Jodi Picolt’s books. I found this one very forgettable.
Another great book from an awesome author!
Interesting plot but fairly predictable.
Good book but the story was rather predictable.
Not one of my favorites.
I shows things are not always the way appear
Different. Might possibly give an accurate view of an abusive relationship from the victim and abusers perspective in some cases.
