Wonderful ‘Who Dun It’ Story
I really enjoyed this book, as well as the series. I have enjoyed all of this author’s work, but I think that this series is her best. The plot is nice and tight. The reader is given enough clues to keep interest up. But, while the reader may have some suspicions, our heroine and the reader finally figure things out together! The story is sweet, clean and cozy. It is refreshing to read a good and intriguing murder mystery and not worry about having nightmares. I received this book (ARC) at no cost and chose to post my honest review.
Book 3 in this cozy mystery series. I liked book one and was okay with book 2 but book 3 was a joy to read. This was a ARC book and I am leaving an honest review. Wendy Fairmont does a favor for her friend Nancy and ends up finding a body. Then Wendy and Nancy have to find the real killer. Many twists and turns making a great cozy mystery.

This is another great who done it mystery by this author. In fact I have enjoyed all the books in the series and this book is no exception. Each book is a standalone mystery and other than the status of her relationship between her and the hunky neighbour they can be read in any order, just make sure you enjoy them all and I hope there is a lot more books in the series to come. The mystery was good and certainly kept me guessing over both the motive and the killer. But it is the characters that keep me coming back for more. Wendy is such a great character and really gives you the small town girl next door feel. I love the rivalry between her and the police chief’s wife, the comradery between her and her best friend and the shy complicated relationship between her and her boyfriend.
Wendy is busy keeping her new business up and running, choosing a photo to enter into the town competition, deciding whether to enter a pie in the pie auction, meeting her boyfriends sexy ex girlfriend and meeting his mother for the first time at a disastrous dinner. But when her best friend phones to say the only other photographer has failed to show up, Wendy drops everything a rushes over to photograph a house being newly listed. He did turn up but somebody killer him. The police look closely at Wendy as getting rid of the competition. Then her house and place of business both get broken into, it seems the killer thinks Wendy has something. The only way for Wendy to stay out of jail and get off a killers radar, is to find it first. The photographer turns out to be shady and a number of people had a reason to hate him but can Wendy focus in on the real killer before it’s to late?
I liked the narrator. She does a good job with all the voices needed to bring this story alive. I also like the fact that she has narrated all four books in this he series so far, as it adds continuity to the series.

Unpredictable. Wendy is wonderful. The plot twist and turns with plenty of wild geese and red herring. Delightfully done.
