The residents of Withernsea are back and we get to catch up with the whole gang. With Charlie all grown up and taking control over everything we find ourselves in some very funny situations. As always Shelley and Kim are hilarious and had me laughing out loud at times and poor Theo is having a hard time with Charlie becoming an adult and is about to have a coronary trying to stop the inevitable with Charlie and Kai. Overall this whole series has been a laugh a minute and I have fallen in love with all the residents of Withernsea and I’m sad that it has come to an end. This series is a must for any paranormal and romcom lovers. I highly recommend this series.
I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest review.
This last book in the Supernatural Dating Agency series was a cute, funny, quick read.
The issues – those with the ever nearby lurking evil – started in book one came to the end in book six. Everything has been revealed, the infamous prophecy fulfilled.
I liked this series from the first to the last book. I liked all the over the top situations and characters. I loved the jokes, the banter. I had quite a few laughs while reading, I felt entertained.
I recommend the whole series. The books are best to read in order.
Phwoar and Peace is book six of the Supernatural Dating Agency and a fabulous read. In this book not only do we get to catch up with all the amazing characters we get Charlie finally taking her rightful place as Queen and fighting for Withernsea and her love for her Merman Kai. I definitely recommend you start this series from book one, The Vampire Wants a Wife, to fully understand what’s going on in this book. You will not be disappointed because this is a fantastic series set in Withernsea and the characters are perfectly quirky and fun.
Favorite Quotes:
For that, she could wear my unicorn onesie, the cow. The supposed horn on its head looked like a penis gone wrong. That was the problem with random internet purchases. Things didn’t always look the same as on the photos when they arrived.
I was going to say you need to see Kai when your dad’s asleep or tell him you’re meeting Alyssa. You just have to be clever and remember your dad is highly intelligent, has super strength hearing, speed, and has come across a hell of a lot of lies in 127 years so you’ll need to get creative.
Oh my! Would tonight be the night? To say I was nervous was an understatement. I wasn’t convinced that an education from Pornhub was the way to go and so last night I’d gone on some forums on the internet for advice. I’d ended up reading several horror stories about broken penises…
I placed a hand on each hip. Lucy did the same. All we needed were cowboy hats and pistols and we were ready to duel.
My Review:
I will admit that I am far too lazy to read paranormal stories as I grow weary of all the world building and various creature rules of who sleeps when and where, who is alive and who is dead, who bites, who flies, etc. I needed to employ Google to find out what a wyvern even was. Yet I didn’t seem to mind all that while reading this series as my efforts were rewarded with clever and bawdy humor, enticing characters, and creative storylines. I have learned that there are lots of cupids and not all of them are good, not all demons are bad, vampires can be sweet and rich but never wind-up one who is suffering from a hangover.
Phwoar and Peace by Andie M Long a five-star read that will make you purr. This is the sixth and final novel in the Supernatural Dating agency series, and what a series, I’m sad to see it ending but Its going out on a high, in fiery glory if you may. Charley Landry is all set to take the crown, but what if taking your crown would mean you can’t do what you want to do, can’t have your life the way you want it to be. It was great catching up with everyone like Shelly and Theo, Kim and Darius and the ruined sofa, and all of the other Withernsea locals, its almost like popping for coffee with your friends. This book will make you laugh and make you wonder, what a fantastic read overall.
What a fabulous series. I love the town and characters in Withernsea. There are so many amazing twists and turns for this crew of supernaturals that was a true joy to read. As they are preparing for war, we get to experience Theo and Shelley as they cope with parenthood with a spectacular daughter that is full of surprises for them. Toss in Ebony, Kim Samara, Jax, Kai, Darius, the list goes on, and you have an amazing story that gives pulls you in and makes you feel like a part of their world. I don’t want to give away any of the fun and shocking twists that I devoured, anxious to know how this crazy tale would end. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
