Mix one part Mermaid—one part Genie. Throw in an intoxicated God of the Sea and and a few smack-talking Pirates. What have you got?Pandemonium.Petunia’s Pandemonium to be more accurate.PetuniaLetting the ocean current take me where it may for the last twenty-five years hasn’t worked out so great. So, instead of getting my tail in a knot, I’m making some swimmingly simple changes.—Stay on Mystical … great. So, instead of getting my tail in a knot, I’m making some swimmingly simple changes.
—Stay on Mystical Isle with my cousins who love me.
—Avenge my parents and eliminate the sea monster who’s wreaking havoc.
—Forget about the gorgeous, no-good Genie who left me at the altar… so to speak.
—Stay away from Genies until the end of time.
—Join Poseidon’s embarrassingly named online dating service for Immortals and get back into the game.
What could go wrong?
Del
I’m a Genie in a bottle baby. Or at least I was. After spending a quarter of a century, doing time for streaking at the Super Bowl after being destroyed by love, I’m a free man. It’s time to get my life together and forget about the Mermaid who didn’t want me. The list is simple.
—Stop granting wishes to idiots.
—Figure out why the Genie Star Fire Light in my eyes is burning out before I die a slow agonizing death.
—Eat an outstanding cheeseburger.
—Stay away from Mermaids.
—Join Poseidon’s embarrassingly named online dating service for Immortals and get back into the game.
It’s a plan. Not necessarily a stellar one, but it’s a plan.
Come for the Vacation. Stay for the Shenanigans!

Petunia’s Pandemonium is a wonderful snort fest for the commuter! I couldn’t keep up with all of the Piratee Hoodwinking Blabberfessing Name Begibberging comments that I wanted to bookmark, oh and drive too. I figured I would just get the book and dip it in highlighter ink. After that I was able to sit back, laugh and enjoy my commute. I adored Upton as Petunia’s BFF as much as Petunia loved him. All of the characters from Petunia and Del to the cousins, Pirate Doug, Del’s parents are delightfully enjoyable and fun.
Erin Mallon and Max Bellmore did a sensational job bringing this whole host of characters and sea faring antics to life. While this is part of a series, it does not have to be listened to in any order for the pure enjoyment of all the shenanigans.
This was a first book that I’ve read from this author. I don’t think I’ve laughed as much while listening to a book before. Some of the characters were hilarious and the stuff they spouted kept me intrigued to the story from the beginning till the very end. Not only was it hilarious there was also a great storyline and plot. I was rooting for both Petunia and Del and I loved this story. Looking forward to reading and listening to more from this author.
I really enjoyed the narrators for this book. I highly recommend. They brought the entertainment to the story and gave it life. Loved it!!
An amazing adventure from the hilarious Mystical Isle crew. Mermaids, a genie, pirates, gods, sea monster, and a Yeti what more could you ask for to entice you to read this wonderful story!
Petunia’s Pandemonium is another wonderfully quirky, fun, and creatively mind boggling story. There is always so many layers to these books, but you if you are a fun of these books you know that Robyn Peterman can blow your mind with her creative language and fun characters. A mermaids & a genie, okay then, but she makes it work and will have you snickering your way through the story.
Who doesn’t love a bff who can lick himself like the family dog?
I love this series of books and I love Petunia. Petunia’s Pandemonium is a laugh a minute adventure. Full of crazy mermaids, Delicious Genies, a drunken God of the Sea, crazier pirates, and even a big foot. Do not miss out on not only this book but the whole series.
Absolutely loved this book! I read it in hours. I laughed so much! The nicknames are hilarious! Everyone needs a nard licking pirate/Sphinx for a BFF! Poseidon’s dating site is definitely a winner! Go, Buy, Read, Laugh!
Book 5 in the Sea Shenanigan’s series lives up to the hilarity of the preceding books! Petunia is living with her cousins in the Bermuda Triangle, but life just isn’t all seashells and swimming. This mermaid loved and lost, and can’t find her happiness. Her cousins are great, and try to make her feel included – but something is missing.
Del is a genie who has been trapped for the last 25 years. Streaking is only fun if you don’t get caught! The love of his life left him at the altar, and his life took a nosedive. Now that he is free, he has to try and figure out what to do with his future. Meeting the drunken God of the Sea sends him to an island in the Bermuda Triangle.
The miscommunications are hysterical, and the pirates are just as crude, rude, and foul-mouthed as ever. You think you see the twists and turns coming, but Robyn just keeps you surprised. A great addition to the series, and well worth the read. Laughs galore!
Another hilarious tale (pun intended) from Robyn Peterman. A mad mixup of pirates, mermaids, and a few other notables like drunken Poseiden in a diaper and a smokin’ hot and well-endowed genie. If you can’t figure out how all these great characters fit together, then you need to click right over and get the entire series because you’ll laugh so hard you’ll actually have abs! Loved this book. Couldn’t put it down until the very last word. You’ll love it too!
I can always count on Robyn Peterman books to make me laugh. These are amazingly funny steamy books. I love everything she writes. Petunia and Del are amazing with a little mystery thrown in.
I know I say this every time…but this time I REALLY REALLY MEAN IT. This is the best one in the series!!!! I fell in love with poor Petunia and her lack of self-esteem and her possible beau, Del with the big heart and other parts. I really can’t say much because it is SO good that anything I say will be a spoiler. All I can say is that I LOL’d through most of it and then cried at the end and loved every single character!!!…..you will too. YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK!!!!
If you enjoy wacky and outrageously funny books, this is the book for you. The characters are eccentric and the plot is just plain kooky. What a great way to spend a couple of hours. Reader be warned though- Ms. Peterman is a master of nick names and this book may (ok it does) contain some colorful language and situations. I loved it!
4 out of 5 stars
Welcome back to the beach where the mermaids and the pirates run the paradise trap for the humans. Petunia is out to avenge her parents death and try to forget the genie that stood her up on their wedding day . Well one is easier to do then the other . That Genie is harder to forget then she thought. When she signs up for Poseidon’s dating site to find the woman who killed her parents. She finds more then she bargained for when Del the genie that broke her heart walks back in . Will they get past the hurt that happened and remember how much they truly love each other .
The gang is back and reeking havoc all over the Bermuda triangle. Petunia is hanging out with her cousins and planning to kill her parents killers . She is such a fun character to read . She is feisty and a little homicidal but there is a part of her is a wanderer . Del is the man who broke Petunias heart, he is a mischief making Genie who has been banned to his bottle for 25 years after a bad stunt gone wrong . He is hot and sexy but also is sweet and just wants to find his girl . They are such a hot couple, I truly like them together . Upton is back as Petunia’s best friend and confidante . I love him he is so funny and so loving .
Petunia’s and Dels story is sweet and full of misunderstandings on each of their parts . The author takes us on a fun filled ride through out the book . I will warn you don’t drink anything while you are reading this book you might just spit it out because of the laughter. The characters are well written , but I felt like they weren’t just as complex as the other characters in this series . There was just a few things that stopped me from giving it a 5 star. I wish the author would of added a bit more to the story brought out more of the miscommunication between the main characters . It just felt a little rushed to me . Don’t get me wrong I loved the book and the characters I just wish there was more . Over all I love this series and can’t wait for more . So add this book and series to your winter reading list for laughs and love this series is great
I absolutely love this series. The stories are a quick pick me up from life.
I don’t know where Robyn gets all of her names for things, but she is way better than Ariel on the Little Mermaid. Robyn’s imagination is fantastic!
You will be crying from laughter or from true love finally coming together.
This series is a must read!!
Overall rating: 4.8
This is just one more of an amazing, quirky, series that has captivated me from day one! Petunia , of course, is front and center to finally meet (using that loosely) her match and that’s about all I can say without exposing the wealth of humorous entertainment that awaits you from day one. We all wish we could meet such interesting BFFs on our life journeys! Why the .8 rating? Because every time I feel this author hit a solid 5, she manages to outdo herself in the next book. A slam dunk recommend so lock and load onto your readers people! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
Sweet and outrageously hilarious! This story is a never-ending potty mouth explosion of words I couldn’t rationally put together..I LOVED IT LOL. Can’t wait to read more Sea Shenanigans.
Petunia and Del omg talk about a riotous laugh a minute I loved every single page and laughed myself silly the whole way through.
Ridiculously hilarious reading.
An amazingly happy story with a violent end and a true Happily Ever After.
