“Funny, charming, and utterly captivating! I devoured this sparkling read.” – New York Times bestselling author Annika MartinThe man I hate might be the first one to pluck my petals… get the point.
My excuse? I was too busy running my family’s flower shop and winning floral design competitions.
Suddenly that whole pesky virginity thing becomes a big deal when Jacob West walks back into my life. The boy I once loved. The same boy who humiliated me when he stood me up for prom.
This Jacob is no boy, though: he’s all man now—confident, charming, and so sexy my metaphorical blossoms are getting scorched. I can almost forget I’m supposed to hate him forever. Almost.
To make things worse, he’s my main competition now, since he took over his parents’ flower shop. If I give into this sizzling attraction between us, it could jeopardize everything I’ve worked so hard to achieve.
But if I’m not careful, he might not just be the first man to pluck my petals—he might also be the only man to capture my heart.

The storyline moves way to fast. It makes them falling in love unbelievable. Plus you saw the conflict from first chapter. Rough reading the bedroom scenes. The book has a good premise, just awful follow through.
Language used was not necessary to the story. I found it difficult to read through the slang for the sex portrayed.
Do not care for this type of book. Thank you.
This book was just plain cute. I liked the characters and the plot kept me interested, it was fun but not silly, it was a quick, pleasant read. I might even get more books by this author.
This was just a fun read.
4* Second Chance Love Stars
This is a wonderful funny and sexy second chance friends to lovers story. It was well written and the story flowed well making it quite a quick read. I really enjoyed the banter between Dani and Jacob and their chemistry was undeniable. It was also refreshing to read a love story set in and around 2 flower shops.
I highly recommend this delightful love story especially if you are looking for a sexy low angst love story.
Steamy, captivating, and an impossible to put down! Petal Plucker is spontaneous and sassy, taking you on an emotional ride. Iris Morland is an expert at balancing poignant scenes with just enough humor to keep the book both lighthearted and deep. You will lose yourself in the story about a childhood crush, taking chances, and forgiveness and, of course, flowers!
This is the 1st book I read by Iris Morland. Some parts of this story was funny but I tried to get into this story & couldn’t.
Little bit of drama, but cute read.
I am enjoying the series and characters.
Fun to read. Nice characters. Good people to see develop. About time for happy endings!!
An ok read. Had some unbelievable situations, but what the heck, it’s fiction.
Interesting read.
A really good read. I thoroughly enjoyed Dani’s and Jacob’s story. I recommend it to readers who love romantic comedy books.
I I would not recommend this book. Toooo sexy
I loved this book! It was so sweet!! Dani Wright has always wanted to stay at home and work the family business it has been her life long dream to take over the flower shop.
A blast from the last walks into the shop one day Jacob is back and he came to say hello. He was not only one of her life long friends but the love of her life. To bad he didn’t know she loved him. A last mistake caused a rift between them and they haven’t spoken in a long time.
Why did he come back and why is he in her shop? His family moved into the neighborhood and opened their own flower shop it’s like the Romeo and Juliet of the florists.
Why did he have to look so good…
I loved this book it was sweet and funny and Dani is one of the characters that steals your heart you just want it to work out for her. She needs to have her happily ever after. This was one of those books that you get sucked into and can’t put down. I love a second chance romance and add the friends to lovers into it and I’m hooked. I can’t wait to read the next one. I didn’t realize it was a series when I found it but now I need to know what happens.
Witty story with a happy ever after ending
I received a complimentary copy from Book Bub. I loved it and have purchased and read the next two in the series.
I enjoyed reading this story! Easy to read and entertaining.
I hate when romance books make the female leads soooooo desperate, inept and just so much a weakling. I. Hate. It.
Enjoyable quick read.
Cute premise, fun characters, and a good ending 🙂 Worth the read!
