Vampires don’t exist. Everyone knows that, but after a drug experiment gone wrong, a new generation of children share a frightening number of characteristics with the fictional bloodsucking monsters. Needing blood to survive. Advanced hearing capabilities. The ability to control people with their minds… call it, I have no friends, and that’s okay with me. Or at least, it was. Everything changed the day I met the Patton brothers. I knew what they were. Homo Altiorems, or Alts, the children born to participants in the XRT-90 trials. Three dark-haired, silver-eyed, smokin’ hot Alts, at my school, in my cafeteria, staring right at me. They insisted on getting to know me, because something about me was different. Special.
I went from having zero friends to having three boys devoted to me in every way. And they were right. I was different. There’s one thing I can do that no one else can, and it changed my life.
It changed theirs, too.

I love, love, loved this book. I never thought I’d be into reverse harem, but this book changed my mind. The characters are so real, and their relationships are organic and sweet and make you fall in love with them all. A great read and a good plot to keep you turning from one page to the next. I definitely recommend this book, and in fact, this entire series.
So, if you love real characters with real problems, even if they are supernatural, then grab a copy and devour this sweet and steamy romance!
I loved this book. Not only is it a totally different take on ‘vampires’ but it has a fun premise and hooked me into the story from word one. Savanna is a realistic heroine with a flaw we can all relate to, yet she is the perfect choice for the ALT triplets in this story. The triplets have three very different personalities and each has his own appeal. I personally fell in love with Wyatt, the sweet smiling one. But then there is Jett the broody, misunderstood bad boy. With Beckett, the quiet reader as the third. This story balances the RH trend with a YA plot I wouldn’t ban my teen from reading. Just a wonderful start to a series in every way. I can’t wait to get my grubby hands on book 2!
Twilight meets sci-fi experimental genetics gone sideways. I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, but was blown away and left dying to know more when I finished! The writing is very well done and balanced perfectly between details and plot progression. The characters were complex and each had a very unique but endearing personality that I was able to easily connect with. I actually can’t pick a favorite sibling because I love them all. Wilson did a great job weaving in little moments that really bring the story and characters to life. I found I couldn’t put it down and was questioning everything trying to figure out the who’s and why’s. It is a reverse harem, but remained clean and PG-13. If you want something thrilling with strong characters, I highly recommend giving this a try!
Audible Review:
Savanna and her boys are so sweet. Such an innocent RH…this is why YA RH are rare. I loved it!! And how different each of the triplets is…nerdy, fun-loving and serious/cocky. I loved each one of them as much as Savanna does. I also feel for them, because of how they’ve been treated throughout their lives.
The original take on vampires was great!! And Alts aren’t exactly like vampires, they just depend on blood, have great hearing and can persuade humans. But they don’t have super speed, super strength and they can be out in the sun. The story behind how the became Alts is interesting too.
I thought the writing was great and the dialogue very realistic and easy to follow. The characters are complex to a degree and I look forward to seeing more of them in book two!!
The narrator’s voice wasn’t my favorite and it grated on me a bit, but she made the story easy to follow.
